Oh my gosh, I nearly fell out of my chair when I checked my email at work and saw that there was an update.  Then I had to wait all through the day until my kids are headed to bed.  Torture, I tell you.  I think canon is going to prove more difficult around HBP but you can do it! *sitting on couch, sadly realizing that cheerleading moves are definitely not in my repertoire at this age*  Yes, it was a short chapter but I was still thrilled to see it.  I hope you can stay motivated and RL gives you some spare time.  I don't think the out of order issue matters at all if you are worried about that.  The last two that were posted prior to this one kind of stood alone anyway.  You can go back and fill in the blanks easily.  *pondering what else I can say or do to keep the chapters coming*  Still LOVE your story and will be anxiously awaiting the next chapter... even if it takes awhile... sigh.  Thanks for making my day!

Ohhh dear dear dear.  LOL.Makes me think of Lolita and the Police song "Don't Stand So Close to me."  FUN FUN FUN.

Another hilarious chapter, this time with Extremely Drunk Snape in the starring role...  When he said, "Good evening, Mish Granger. Hee hee hee," I suddenly thought of Rowan Atkinson in the Black Adder II episode "Beer" when he finally got drunk.  I think Atkinson could have made a pretty good Snape if they hadn't been able to get Rickman for the role (although I'm glad they did!).He is so going to regret this in the morning...if he even remembers most of it!

This chapter was just as hilarious the second time around!  Severus is so evil!  But it certainly worked for him, didn't it?  I seem to recall, however, that this little subterfuge will come back to haunt him later on...oh well.  No plan's perfect.  And it will serve Lucius right, after siccing Umbridge on him to begin with.My favorite line in this chapter was: Snape still felt like he'd just licked a toilet seat.    Talk about imagery!  I simultaneously winced and laughted when I read that, but it summed up the encounter quite nicely, I thought.Great stuff!

I'm with mimmom--I'm fairly certain that I've read this before, but none of the chapters are marked as "read"!  I guess I'll just have to read it all over again!  Anything to get Harry out of his hair a millisecond sooner, huh?  Severus has always seemed exceptionally jealous of his privacy, so this seems quite a leap of faith for him to accept Hermione's offer.  Unless he subconsciously thought highly of her already and just wouldn't let himself realize it...  I mean, she can't help it if Harry and Ron can't do without her!  Of course she can't. 

LOL.  Poor Severus.  He's a mess.

It's been so long, and I really missed them, so I nearly jumped on my seat when I saw the new update. I'm a bit disapointed that it's so short but it's so good to have them back that I won't hold it against you.I really hope you'll find time and the muse to work on it in the (near) future. You know, I was reading fanfiction and this particular story on a another archive, and you made me discover TPP because there were rules issues with the way the story was turning out (Severus and the female centaurs) so you suggested that I could go there to continue with the unadultered one. I'm pretty sure I read this story before.  I love it so I'm going to read it again.  The thing is, it really pushes my willing suspension of disbelief.  I can't imagine Snape ever agreeing to such a thing.  But the idea is such a lovely one that I'm glad he does in your story.  LOL.

This story starts out very well. Now I read the reviews to see what the bedtime-story is, but no native speaker has bothered to comment yet... darn.I will stick with the story for now, since I like your style, and this Hermione is just so bold. But in all honesty... I am still hoping for "Private Lessons" to continue.
