Severus Snape has always been my fav character since I found HP. I enjoy dark, graphic stories, but will read some fluff and I love humour.
Happy to be in Slytherin house.

At last Hermione realizes she has been an idiot, then she leaves Headquarters and continues to be an idiot. Aaarrrggg. Bloody typical. Exciting though. Poor Snape has to become a woman. I think this is Dumbledore punishing him; perhaps hoping Snape gets raped. Since Snape did not inform Dumbledore in advance of the attack, maybe this is a set up to dump his spy who is no longer useful. Not really fair since Hermione is the one who blabbed. On the other hand, Snape is responsible for setting up Jezzie as a spy for him to utilize to save him butt if needed to satisfy the Dark Lord. And he needed her to survive, didn't he?

OMG! Hermione is in grave trouble, and all because she couldn't resist telling Jezzy the Secret to Beauxbatons. On top of that mistake, she left Grimmauld Place to see Jezzy and find out who she might have told. And now she has been taken captive by Fenir Greyback and Rodolphus Lestrange.What in the world is going to happen to her? Will Severus be able to get Dumbledore or some of the Order members into Malfoy Manor, AND save Hermione without getting killed himself?This was an evil cliffie you've left us with. But, since you are the author, you can do anything you choose to do and we, loyal readers that we are, will wait upon your good grace until you deign to favor us with the next chapter. I can't say that I'm particularly upset right now. You said it: HG's arrogance, carelessness, indiscretion and willfulness are catching up with her. Clearly, the Order misplaced their trust in her (loved the piercing look from DD), and I'm surprised that they trusted someone so young and inexperienced with such an important secret in the first place. The girl is clueless, and unfortunately doesn't have the sense to realize it and to listen to those who do know. What a painful way to learn her lesson, though. Still, maybe it takes a mistake of that magnitude for HG to learn humility and her lesson, and I'm sure it will crush her self-confidence. Will SS be able to raise her back up? That would be a nice equalizer.I'm taking the HG of this story as a substantial liberty from Canon HG. While Canon HG is arrogant when it comes to her studies, she isn't careless, impetuous (e.g. tries to talk Harry out of his rescue of Sirius at the MoM), or indiscrete (e.g. keeps mum about Lupin's condition). She's humble enough to listen to others' judgment (e.g. trusting DD's faith in SS), and to know that she might not have all of the information to make a wise decision (e.g. again, the rescue of Sirius and trusting DD's judgment). And while Canon HG is determined to succeed, she is not Harry-level willful. This story has a much more immature HG, but it could be that your HG is more realistic than that of JKR. What under-20 girl-woman, no matter how bright, is fully experienced and fully tested? I'm sure Wonder Woman made big mistakes when she was young.Soooo... what's going to happen when things catch up with SS? Will DD uncover Jezzie's obliviates? Will another Deatheater tell DD or HG of SS's duplicity? Will HG find out that SS is Jezzie's controller? Will HG even care that that's how SS was able to save Jezzie's life? Will SS let HG hang for her indiscretion?I assume that Greyback/R. Lestrange sent the "Voldy" note. Will Voldy stay true to his word and let SS take revenge? I hope so. I'd like to see just how powerful and skillful SS really is in a duel. Unfortunately, we never get to see the full scope of his dueling abilities in Canon.Ah, I've rattled on long enough. Great job! Loved it! UPDATE SOON!!!!!!

D*mn! I assume that Chapter 17 is where HG's rape dream comes to fruition. Ouch! Another very painful way to learn humility and prudence. From the rape dream, I assume that SS (out of commission due to injuries) will not rescue her in time.Whew! You certainly don't pull your punches. (That's a good thing.) I wonder if you're going Karmic: HG getting raped to balance the rapes/deaths of the Beauxbatons students. If she gets raped, one can only hope that the Order (i.e. DD) will forgive her enough to help her cope/recover; but I wouldn't want to see her rape as a get-out-of-jail-free card for her indiscretion. While Karma might tie the two incidents together (as well as the same HG shortcomings), they are still separate issues. Take care of her, but make sure that she learns.

Normally, I feel a little odd when I review this story. I like it so much, but I'm never really certain what I'm feeling. But today I'm irritated. At Hermione, I think; although the other characters are on my list too. Oh, and that was a mean place to end the chapter-- a really good place in terms of the story, but a mean thing to do to your readers.

I know, I know, I know that this obsessive maniacally possessive Snape would not do nor let anything hurt Hermione, BUT, I am not sure which side of the fence he is standing on right now. Either he is under the Imperio curse or Voldemort has promissed him anything, or the battle is over and he's just bringing her back to surprise her (that I highly doubt.) After reading this I had such a hard time getting to sleep! Now you have to update this quickly to cure my over-active-imagination-induced insomnia.Great Job, I'm lovin this Snape.

Hermione is in love with Severus Snape! And..."...she knew that she and Snape fit together......He had fallen in love with her too; she just knew it. She felt it deep in her soul."While Severus had to leave to answer Voldemort's summons, Hermione learned from the Book how to reveal a soul. But then Severus returned—or did he? Was that really Severus? Lordy! I have no idea. Voldemort could have invaded Snape's mind and gleaned the information to answer the questions Hermine asked to tell whether it was really Severus at the door. The Dark Lord could have cast a glamor or used Polyjuice Potion to make Lucius or another Death Eater look like Severus...Somehow, the Severus that came back did not seem like the Severus who had left just hours earlier. There was just something off about his behavior. He was almost feral in his actions towards her when she allowed him entrance. It's almost like he would behave rougher than Hermione would have expected, and then catch himself and say something to cover it over. But when she asked him what happened, had he been harmed, he said something totally unexpected--“If I had any intention of telling you that, don’t you think I would have answered you the first time,” he snapped, turning on his heel and looking sinister. That screamed "Impostor" to me.And then he acted so unlike himself when he was preparing to Apparate them to HOGWARTS, that's what he'd said, to HOGWARTS! But then they end up at Malfoy Manor!!! EEEEEEEK!!!Could it have been an impostor? Lucius or Rodolphus or Greyback or anyone of dozens of other Death Eaters....Evil Cliffie!!! Shell, you're torturing me here! Please, pretty please update soon? This is a great chapter and one of the busiest ones!!!Beth
