Severus Snape has always been my fav character since I found HP. I enjoy dark, graphic stories, but will read some fluff and I love humour.
Happy to be in Slytherin house.

I mean I know Sev can be a right bad bastard but if he was abusing her when she was a wee lassie like a typical Death-eater then he really does need taking to task over it. That is just nuts! For Snape to turn it all around like that and try to push it off on her? That is typical abuser behavior. It is no excuse. He was her teacher, she was his student. Then after that was over, he stalked her and violated her body! I don't know if this is a Snape Hermione should take back. He is very twisted and needs dominance over his obsession to compensate for his own inadequacies. That is how women get killed.Livvy

Well, I must admit, this does creep me out! I have an extremely hard time trying to imagine Severus being like this. Therefore, if Severus were everything that I cannot imagine him to be, this might be what he would be like... [I was never one of those that doubted his loyalties to the Light.] Aside from that, I do not understand the pleasure some people derive from abusing another, especially as a form of sexual thrills.
Since it is an interesting [i.e. twisted] story, I will ‘put up with your creepiness’, too, as I want to know what your intentions are with the story. Hang on Hermione … seems you’re in for a bumpy ride!

I never doubted Severus either, that is why I am challenging myself and writing this... believe me, this is very hard to do, all my other stories are with a Severus who wouldn't do this--mean and cynical, yes--but not like this. I don't think either of us could understand the mind of someone who is like this... he is VERY decitful in this and you are right, she IS in for a bumpy ride--it gets worse before it gets better...But any time you feel like it's too much and need to bow out, I'll understand, I'll hate to lose you as a reader, but I know this fic is difficult for many... Thanks!

You are a very good author and believe me, I've read enough fanfiction over the years to recognize what a rare breed good authors are ... so, no, you won't lose me as a reader.Besides, I am quite old mature enough to know a story can't hurt me. Wow, I am very touched to know I won't lose you as a reader, thank you, really. You're right, it won't hurt you, squick, oh yes! Make you think and bother you, I hope so... I try to push the limits on things with this story and my art, mostly my art and I cause a lot of problems with it and get it kicked off deviantart, but I need to push limits and challenge myself. I just hope, by the end, Snape's reasons are clear and I dont' look like a fool for writing him in this way! hehehe...
Wow, Severus is definitely manipulative and very dark here -- I'm not used to reading darkfics, but I can definitely say that I am enjoying this one! Good job!

Glad you like the ending--that was my fav!!! The bruise was from the previous chapter when he attacked her in her bedroom and snatched her face, he squezzed it so hard that he bruised her...:)
i've heard of a "pearl necklace" not sure what the M.I.N.E. thing would be called. i think Severus is going to be having a hard time trying to break Hermione's mind, she's so strong.

Love it! Intriguing start, my dear!You've got me hooked. I very much like your darker Snape...creepy!By the way, I have no problems with Snape correcting his own exams. All my profs did in college! I mean, who else is knowledgeable enough to assess at the N.E.W.T level? IMHO, as long as someone else invigilated the exam, then the proper assessment procedure as been followed!
