Oh my, is Severus having a change of heart?  I am really glad to see that he has a heart under all that evil.  I hope he can turn his life around.

Hermione was so kind and caring when she found him beaten and bloodied.  I wonder if she will still feel like being his champion if/or when she finds out what he has done to her or what he want's to do to her?

What an evil bastard, using Jezzie to get to Hermione.  His thoughts are so evil they are almost monstrous.  I hope he starts showing some sort of redeeming gualities soon.

You were right when you said this was a dark fic, I am still enjoying it though.  I think Snape is a very complex character and with him being a Death Eater, I believe this kind of bad behavior would be the order of the day, considering he has been surrounded by this type of depravity for years. 

I almost hate to admit it but I like this Snape, he certainly has a hard edge and I think Snape needs that.  I must say that I DO NOT approve at all of what he was about to do to Hermione.  I hope he comes up with of a better way to be with her than rape.

Good thing there is only one more chapter.  These evil cliffhangers are getting out of hand!  This was another chapter definitely worth waiting for.  I am actually glad that this will be ending, because I won't be able to rest easy, until it is officially over.  I do hope you have been wriitng like mad and will post soon *nudge nudge*

What a freaking emotional ride!  I feel like I've just run five miles... gotta catch my breath.  *pant pant*Lordy, lordy, lordy.  Another cliffie, another blood pressure pill.  You have written one of the fastest moving chapters I've ever read... in fact, the only one I can think of at the moment that is more action filled is Chapter 11 when they entered Menkaure’s tomb and took the book.  Way to go, Shell!*pant pant*BUT, Severus is now unconscious (probably from Dumbledore's own wand), Hermione has been hit by a curse from Bellatrix, and I want somebody to bloody well pay for this.  I'm sure that Dumbledore wouldn't have passed up a chance to fell Severus, especially after Snape told him that he was just a bad as Voldemort when it came to causing the deaths of others.  No sir, he had to stop anyone from finding out what Severus could tell them about him.  Only Dumbles doesn't know that Hermione knows all the dirty tricks he's done over the years, and she can really do the Headmaster harm.  And I hope she gets that chance... to save Severus and to let the Wizarding world know that Albus Dumbledore is no squeaky clean hero.I can't believe that we only have one more chapter.  Has it really been two years?  Congratulations on this fabulous story.  Now get busy finishing the last chapter.  Chop chop.Much hugs, Beth

 WAY TO SHELL!!!!! That was an AWSOME chapter! Leave it to Snape to deceive both sides just enough to stay in the other's good graces while still leaving his allegiance clear to those who truly know him. I can't wait for the last few chapters.

What have  you done?!?  Poor Sevvie is on the ground and Hermione has been hit with an unknown curse ...  Is it illegal to punch someone in the nose?  Hermione's slaps don't count, but a punch does! How is that fair? Frankly, I think Severus could have easily punched Harry, just to pay the brat back for doubting him.I don't think I would have blamed Severus if he had changed sides, which I don't think he ever would ... this Dumbledore was too quick to doubt him.  One could compare Albus and Tom as being opposite sides of the same coin ... the good - the bad, but there is the inner portion of that coin that touches and is one.  Albus isn't good; he's just the one that got written in with twinkling blue eyes!Gheeze, I hate evil cliffies.

Had to back up to ch. 27 and re-read for anything to make sense to me and when I finally got to read the new chapter, you had to go and end it on an evil note! Just setting the stage, if I read it right. Our chameleon  just slid into the proper costume he needed to perform his next act of deception.  He needs to pull off a masterwork of acting to slither past Voldemort and an honestly terrified Hermione is an essential prop.  "Will you walk into my parlor?" said the Spider to the Fly - Welcome Lord Voldemort!
