Severus Snape has always been my fav character since I found HP. I enjoy dark, graphic stories, but will read some fluff and I love humour.

That is a great chapter You write.I hope that he will free him self from the grasp of that last horcruxs . It was a surprise that he has it. Strong grasp that indicate horcrux has on him obviously cause his strange behavioral .

Well, yes the horcrux does play a small role in why he is the way he is, but he has done horrible things and behaved badly even before he had the horcrux, don't forget that. Thank you so much for reviewing, I loved it.

Ok, so much makes sense now. Wow, that was some revelation. No wonder he could do such evil things. The horcrux would have such an iron grasp on him. It would have encouraged him to do what ever came into his mind. Not to mention getting outed to Hermione about his obsession. Great chapter, look forward to the next. Go, kick some RL arse, lol.

Chuckles all around. What control does the horcrux really have on SS that he's been denying to himself all these years? Maybe it's a low-grade control that he's simply so used to that he thinks it's part of his natural make-up. And does the horcrux give HG extra power to stop SS from preventing her from reaching DD's office? And if HG does reach DD's office, what will she really do? How will SS explain not coming forward with the horcrux? Oww. Yes! The race is on! Good job. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I'd love to know how Headmaster Black knew Hermione was trashing Severus's office. Was it a lucky guess? Or, perhaps some other means.Poor Hermione, she must be very hurt.

No, not a lucky guess... the head of slytherin has a potriait for the only headmaster of slytherin in his office. So, he could see what was happening. Well, hurt, yes. But. She's destorying his office for ANOTHER reason.... *giggles*Thanks!

What a tangled web Severus has put himself in. It sounds like it's coming undone very soon and I'm glad Hermione is willing to hear his side of the story. I was kind of surprised that Dumbledore and Snape didn't communicate as much as I thought they would. It's not going to be pretty when everything comes out but life rarely is in difficult situations. As far as Greyback and Lestrange are concerned, I wasn't fussed *kind of thought they got off easy*. But I believe they are they kind of enemy you shouldn't let live. Looking forward to Hermione's and Severus' talk.

Lol, my idea of revenge *if it's really worth getting revenge* is to extract payment over a long length of time, and I admit I am a little blood thirsty, so... No, really, the revenge doesn't bother me. Not like how Severus treated Hermione at the first of your story. That was really upsetting to me. Thanks for the story, it definitely makes you think.

Ok, even though this story has really pushed my comfort zone, I'm glad I stayed with it. In some ways it's like Hermione's and Snape's relationship, the shocking parts of your story ARE like being attacked and smacked around the head and shoulders. But having persevered this far, I am enjoying your story and eagerly look forward to the next chapters.

This is either my second or third attempt to read your story. It's definintely pushing me beyond my comfort zone but the recs on livejournal are intriguing. I'm just curious why the RoR didn't show a location for Snape? Was it because he was out of the castle at the time? Is this really Snape at his most honest or is he under an imperius? Will keep reading, thanks for the story.

Hermione needs to stop beating herself up over telling Jezzie about Beaubatons, yes it was foolish, but anyone she told could have been captured. Hermione's insight into Severus' reasoning gives credence to her part in the realtionship. Phineas' concern for Severus is touching, and his backhanded compliment of their love was priceless. I really like Albus's explination of how Severus knew about Beaubatons, he's right, it is Severus' job to disseminate information in a way that will benefit the Order (sometime it's not pretty.)My compliments on your Severus, you've added a new element that I have never read before. I find him to be raw and coarse in a natural way regarding his feelings toward Hermione. It lends an element of unpredictability to his character. Many writers try to convey this but the formality to his nature often gets in the way. You are the first in my impression to accomplish both. Great update can't wait for more.

Interesting chapter, you certainly had my head whirling. I think the best part was Hermione's question to Dumbledore. "Do you trust him?" Is such a simple sentence with a wealth of meaning.

Hermione reacted to her conversation with Headmaster Black better than I thought she would. If she plots against Severus like she does an adversary he is in for trouble. Although Severus is an experienced master of manipulation and evasion. It will be interesting to see how their "match" goes.

Thinking back on canon information or insinuation, one thing is definitely clear in my mind ... our dear sweet little Hermione, inch-for-inch, pound-for-pound was by far the more devious, quick thinking plotter and doer, than Severus Snape could ever want to be. So, I'd have to say at this point in the story - Severus Beware! 
Death Eaters my Aunt Sadie ... little girls with nose in book, wearing cute school uniforms with knee socks and maryjane's are the one's you want to watch out for.
