Severus Snape has always been my fav character since I found HP. I enjoy dark, graphic stories, but will read some fluff and I love humour.
Happy to be in Slytherin house.
Reviews for Consuming Me
Ahem - very impressive chapter, although I will probably have to wait another one or two chapters until I understand it all...
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Thank you muggline! Yeah, next chapter, hopefully, will explain things!
Brilliant fight. Just what the old fart deserved! :)
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
*gigglesnort* Omg, you're so right! thanks, sunny!
Holy crap! That was just crazy! The imagery was phenomenal and the ending... my gosh! Severus is completely obsessed. I think you've taken Snape to a whole new level.Livvy
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Completly obsessed, yes. But... he loves her. In his own way. She is his reason for everything he does. Thanks, Livvy!
Woohoo! I was right! I was right! I was right! (Mostly.) Wow. I did not see that fight coming, and it was a d*mn good one. Tearing down walls, doors, floors, oh my!So, does this mean that DD is going to control SS through, "If you want to see her again..." or bring HG back and have her act as an intermediary between the two? Hum. It would be more fun if you brought her back. What a power play that would be.!You've definitely created a great dark hero. SS goes well beyond mere bad-boy status. More like an uber viper you have to keep on a tight leash. Ssssssss. Thanks for the quick update. Can you make the next one equally quick?
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Bwhahahah, yes, my friend, you were right. Mostly. lmao.COntrol SS through HG. Or so DD thinks. Thank you about the 'dark hero!' Yeah, I guess he is... And 'uber viper on a tight leash' WOW. Yes, you said it all right! Perfection summary of him. Pefect. Thanks!!!Next one will not be as quick... sorry to say. But, I'll work on it.
That was a battle for the ages. Oh my. Scary, very male, primal, and underhanded: everything one looks for in a good fight. Cheers!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
oooo, thank you! I love how you describe as very 'male' because that's true! *hugs*
Wow, wow, wow! That was amazing!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Thank you, Zig!!!!!!!!!!
What the HELL? Why did Snape flip out? Why'd he attack Dumbledore? Why did he hide the Horcrux? So many questions! Grrr. Great animagus form though.
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
He flipped out because Dumbledore has used him for so long, and now, Dumbledore took the one thing that matter to Snape: Hermione. Just took her from him. Like that! And Snape breaks because all he cares about is her. Rememember she is his driving force. Thanks for reading! and All the questions!! lol
Holy crap, Batman. Dumbledore does not fight fair. At least this proves Snape truly loves Hermione. However, Hermione probably does not know this.
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Snape really does love her. She is his everything--his reason for living. Dumbledore didn't fight fair because the Horcrux gave him extra, dark powers, otherwise, he would have lost. But, the old fool deserved it. Thanks, maddie!!
Oh Shell! Glorious new chapter! That fight was just amazing! The shields, the blasting and horrible, devastating emotions running through the both of them was so intense! And Hermione, how it was always Hermione in the end. And love, not Harry's love for his friends, not Lily's love for her son, but Severus' love for Hermione will save them all. And how the Horcrux turned on Severus because of it, lending its power instead to Dumbledore - absolutely brilliant, lol.Excellent writing, darling! Now, keep writing!!!!!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Thank you for all you did for me! It is, and will always be, Hermione. Do you really think that the 'light' will be saved? Oh, dari... you assume too much. *snickers*
Thank you for your love.
Ron Weasley the voice of reason and logic. That was weird. LOL! Way to go Grotto spell. Hermione is still going to be pissed about it Severus even if it did save her hide. tee hee
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Hey, I had to give the red-head some props. Poor dude. lol
Voldemort doesn’t leave fucking notes. Its weird when my thoughts end up in your story. How did you get in my head Shell? Hermione is a moron. You can kill her if you want.
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Kill, Hermione.I think I should write a story about that. Can you imagine the backlash? bwhahahahahah. And I would have YOU to blame.
Poor Severus, so put upon. So misunderstood. I figured after Hermione turned on him that he would clam up or shut down completely, refusing to co-operate. But then Dumbledore sent her off and the thought of not having her, not knowing where she was, was more important to him than the pain of her comments. I imagine Albus is going to rip Severus a new one, rake him over the coals and royally roast him alive at this point. Well, maybe not all that!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Well, she's upset, naturally. But, turning on him??? Well... nah. And that last part about Albus raking him over coals... you.are.close. lmao. Thank you Darque!!!
What a fast read -- wow! I am feeling so sorry for Sererus ... I hope he finds a way to win back Hermione!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Thank you! I hope he can find a way too, he's had a really crappy life.
Very interesting. I wonder what Hermione thinks of all this. We saw how she reacted... but what will she think after she cools off? As for Severus, how will he explain himself?
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
I think you hit it on the head--once Hermione cools off, she'll be able to think. But, she's gotta cool off first... lol. Thanks!!!
How dare the old fool keep you from her! She’s yours--not his! That blasted Horcrux has been Severus' undoing. I know that he thinks he has a good reason that will explain why he kept the Horcrux hidden... but after reading the chapter for a third time, I decided to review the order of his thoughts. His thinking is very disordered, and he flits from one extreme to the other:• What have you done to her? She’ll never want you after this--after attempting to… kill her. • How could you let this happen? How did she find that fucking book?• Perhaps tomorrow is the full moon. Am I so rattled that I do not even know the lunar cycle? I must compose myself at once.• He had his reasons as to why he’d had the Horcrux in his possession, reasons that could be carefully explained.• Of course I had it, woman--who else would’ve been powerful enough to keep something like that hidden for so long!• “Why don’t you explain to Dumbledore about your betrayal, Miss Granger?” • Think! Where could she have gone? Hog’s Head… Burrow… Grimmauld Place… Out of the country… Fuck! • Safety? How is she safe if she isn’t in my arms, under my watchful eye? No one can protect her as I can! This is not the Severus Snape that has worked so hard to serve the interests of the Light and the Order of the Phoenix! His foolish decision to keep the Horcrux "safely" hidden in his own quarters has made a mockery of the man he had hoped to become. Can this apparent change be the real Severus Snape, or had the Horcrux worked to subvert his own goals to overthrow Voldemort? One thing is for certain – Dumbledore had his attention now: “If you ever want to see Miss Granger again, you will answer my questions!” And the "threat of keeping her away from him was Snape’s undoing." Perhaps now we will find out just what has been going on in Severus' mind... and why.Now... Ahem... You are an evil author and have proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that you know how to write an evil cliffie and drive your readers to distraction! Great writing, Shell, and as I have no finger nails left, I hope you will update soon or I may run out of those tiny little Bandaids... Whew!Beth
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
You simply amaze me, Beth. You read this chapter 3 times! And then disected his thought process! That's bloody fantasic, thank you. Okay: "This is not the Severus Snape who has worked so hard to serve the intrests of the Light and the OotP!"All I have to say is this: Where, in this story (and remember in THIS story, not canon lol) have I everrrrrrrrrr said that Snape was for the Light? Did your heart just drop? Cuz, I thought I heard something... lol. However, on the other side of that, I have never made it clear that he wasn't for the Light. Like, I said, Like Snape said: He has his reasons.
And he DOES 'flit' (love that word lol) Why??!?!?!
Because his IS rattled! So much is happening! But remember this: The only thing that matters to him, is Hermione. Everything, is for her. That Horcrux made him drop her, nearly killing her and he doesn't know how to control these emotions. It is all coming out in waves, and is confusing him, shaking him up, driving him mad, all in a matter of minutes.
And the next chapter (which is already in queue) is the result of all of this.
Thank you so much! I was impatenitly waiting for your review! lol, I always enjoy hearing what you have to say!
Response from braye27 (Reviewer)
Arrrggghhhh! All right, never in THIS story have you everrrrrrrrrr said that Snape was for the Light. *grumble grumble* *sigh*However, on the other side of that, I have never made it clear that he wasn't for the Light. You, missy, are driving me crazy!!!*eargerly awaiting your update*I love this story!!!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
"Driving you crazy!!"It's what I do best. Let me just say this:I have dropped clues about his loyality throughout the ENTIRE story.
Response from braye27 (Reviewer)
I know, and just as soon as I feel comfortable hanging my hat on one of them, you write something like these last two chapters. If I didn't love you so much, I'd hate you.
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Beth! you are too effing funny, I just loves you!
oooohhhh more ambiguous!snape. tho i think this is only-out-for-his-own-interests!snape. great update! thanks so much
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Ahhhhh yes. You are right! lol. Thank YOU for reading!
Snape was under the influence of the Horcrux; that counts for something doesn't it. Temporary insanity? Will Snape be able to talk his way out of this mess?
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Hi! Temporary insanity??!! bwhahahahaha, yes... in a way. Thank you for reviewing!
Severus didn't mean it did he? It was that silly book, he is for the light right? O dear. I look forward to him spilling eveything. DD is very clever, Hermione is his weak spoke, the heart. Can't wait for the chapter!

Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Hi
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
!! Thank you for your review and rating! So, is he for the light??? Well, what do you think? You're right about one thing:O.Dear. hahahahah. Thanks!
Aii, why did he hide it? I'm so confused! Talk about evil, evil cliffies.
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Ah, why did he hide it?He has his reasons. More to be revealed... Glad you like my evil cliffie! lolThanks!!!
Amazing love it Crazy Wow!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Oh, I'm thrilled! Thank you for reviewing!!!! It means so much!
Weeeeeeee! The sh*t finally hit the fan. Excellent! In a way, poor Severus. At least DD understands that SS is still under the horcrux's influence. If SS is feeling horror now over what he's done, I can only imagine the horror he's going to feel when the horcrux is destroyed. And what's DD going to do with him? Clearly, DD can't let SS go back to Voldy. Or will DD use HG as the means to control SS? Hum. Definitely looking forward to the next chapter. Update soon!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
I'm so giggling! I think this might be the first time you have been very close to the truth of things re: What DD will do with him! lolThank you for your enthusiasm!
What a cliffie!!! Really good. Though it's a bit rich that Dumbledore would be angry with Snape for keeping secrets. LOL (Pot calling the kettle black and all that)So glad it's been updated! Missed you. =]
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Mwhahahahah, see, Rhiannon, that's my point! It IS rich that DD is pissed off at Snape--he does the same things, and he does them worse! Which, leads to WHY Snape does the things he does... of course, more will be explained in later chapters... But thank you for saying you missed me--it really drives me to keep going, and going at a faster rate. Thank you and many hugs. S~
Shell, I LOVE this story. Love. I love your Snape, and the obsessive intensity of his desire for Hermione, and how we really don't know who he is truly. I love an ambiguous Snape!! And duelling next! And then what is going to happen to Hermione and Snape? You've got me captivated here. Excellent, suspenseful writing, dear.
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Kizzy!!! You are the second person to say "ambiguous Snape" wow!! That's a good thing, means I'm doing something right! lol. Oh, you are going to see mUCH more of that obsessiveness next chapter!! *giggles* Thank you so much for your wonderful support! Many hugs,Shell~
Wow, that was intense. I'm afraid for Hermione on how obsessive Snape is with her and I hate that he's deceived her and everyone else. Wonder what the "good" reason for hiding the Horcrux. Look forward to a new chapter soon.
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Well, I never said this was a fluffy, sweet story. hahahahaha. Yeah, the bastard is TRULY a bastard in this, huh? Now, obsessions... well... Hermione has her own as well, perhaps she'll be... understanding. lol. Thanks for the review!
Oh God, oh God oh God!!! Who really is Severus? Is he the man desperate to get Hermione back? Is the man willing to do whatever it takes to protect what is his, or is that the Horcrux? Has it been the Horcrux all along? OR, did the Horcrux merely have him act on what he was feeling? Oh man! It's probably a combination of everything Another excellent chapter! And I just CANNOT wait to see these two in action! Write more! Hurry!!!
Response from shellsnapeluver (Author of Consuming Me)
Who is he? The man desperate to get Hermione back. The man willing to do whatever it takes! Thank you for all you have done for me. Love you!
