Severus Snape has always been my fav character since I found HP. I enjoy dark, graphic stories, but will read some fluff and I love humour.
Happy to be in Slytherin house.

I can probably guess one. But the other has got me thinking. I'm so glad they are going to be able to put things behind them, and Severus has changed. I'm looking forward to these last few chapters.

Splendid! I'm so glad that they have managed to put the past into the past. Neither of them will forget what has happened, but they have moved on with forgiveness for past wrongs and a determination to rid the world of the Dark Lord forever... and save Harry.So what are the last two ingredients? Hermione's virginal blood and the hair of the banshee? Or something else that has slipped by me unnoticed as I read?How long do they have before Voldemort comes to Severus? Will he be outraged tath Severus has not answered his Summons? Will he try to harm Hermione? Will Severus be able to protect her from his wrath?Good lord, woman! You've set the stage perfectly for the showdown of the century, and I can't wait to see how you work all this out. Dumbledore will have to be confronted for using both Hermione and Severus is such diabolical ways, but will they forgive him and go on to forgive him? Or will they want to extract their pound of flesh for the way he as used them both?Only a few more chapters? I will be sad to see this story end, but I will be happy to see the world rid of the Dark Lord, and happier still to see Severus and Hermione make a life for themselves free of the evil that is now threatening to end their world as they know it.Great chapter, Shell!Beth

Excellent chapter. I feel relief now that she has forgiven him. Your last few chapters created tremendous angst for me, not knowing if she could get beyond the terrible things he had done. Kudos for Severus' total honesty.So now they have the chance to move on and destroy Voldemort with a potion. Two special ingredients, you say? Hmm? I guess virgin's blood and... aw, shoot, I'm all out of clues. Banshee hair?

Thank you, Clair... Yeah, I really wanted my readers to feel the hurt/angst that those two were feeling, and by the sound of it I succeded, so thank you for telling me that. And yeah, you got that first ingredient correct... oh, the clue is SO in the story--you just gotta think really hard... and think back... hehehehehehhe
When I think back on how this story started, it is amazing that Snape and Hermione could have the conversation they have in this chapter. He's changed. But so has she. She can meet him more as an equal. Only a few more chapters, huh? I'm sad.

Oh interesting choice of memories. I was really amused by the visit of the student in his office - no, he didn't want jsut any little girl ldid he? and Karkaoff thinking Hermione was a Slytherin - that was hilarious. I especially liked Severus reaction to the fact that Hermione brewed Polyjuice her second year, and Dumbledore's comments. Very well done chapter. I'm really enjoying this tale.

I love this story, I was so unhappy when I realized I was reading an author's note (not that I don't love reading your notes, but I wasn't ready for the chapter to be over).I'm very curious as to how you will handle her reaction to the rest of the memories. Oh, no, I meant that as a complement. I was reading along so caught up in the story that I wasn't paying attention to the curser. Usually, I glance at it about 2/3's of the way through-- but I was so engrossed I forgot to look. The chapter was perfect, you left me wanting more. Always a good thing.MA

What a lovely glimpse into the early impressions of her that formed the basis for his love for (and obsession with) her. I'm worried about the scenes yet to come--yet the very fact that he's willing to show all to her, rather than continue to deceive her, speaks worlds about how far he's come from obsession toward true love. Waiting (with trepidation) for the next!
