Ah, ha!  So that's how you're working Hermione-control!  I didn't realize it was going to be by locking the two of them up together; although that's a great way to force them to confront their differences, and certainly those that extend beyond the Horcrux and the attempted murder-by-dropping-Hermione-seven-floors.So, what are in those vials?  Is SS relationship-suicidal enough to include early memories of when he attacked and Obliviated Hermione?  Given the extreme guilt he's feeling, it's quite possible that he's going to do the full confession.  Yeowch!  If he does that, I hope that he's at least sane enough to include memories showing the positive aspects of his devotion.  As a former roommate used to say, "Him's not too stable."I was surprised by how understanding DD was.  Is DD reeeeally being that nice, or is it another manipulation case of attracting more flies with honey?  Me thinks the latter.  DD has treated SS as a disposable commodity too many times for me to think that DD is rooting for the HG-SS relationship and SS's happiness out of the goodness of his own heart.  Conniving ba*tard, that one.And since you dropped the clue... which big bad wolf will be knocking at the door come red-light time?  Hummm.  Could it be the the biggest baddie of them all:  Super V?  (Reminds me of the song, "Super Freak", by Rick James.)Fabulous as always.  Update soon!

Oh my.  This fic seems to inspire(?) me to write highly unintelligent reviews, because I am too stunned to say anything more complex then 'Blimey!' 

What I don't get is why is the Horcrux trying to get Hermione to locate it, and take it? Her intent is to destroy it ... unless the Horcrux's intent all along was to get anyone to take it to Dumbledore and Severus has had it hidden away all this time [either not knowing how to 'kill' it or having to have it at hand in case the DL asks for it] to protect Albus.At any rate, I'm sure whatever is revealed in the next chapter will be just as exciting and thought provoking as usual.

I have one thing to say . . . eek! Who will reach Dumbledore first? OK, two things.

Wow!  I was totally caught off balance with this chapter!!!That Severus had the Horcrux explains so much... how he could do some of the things he does.  His changes in personality were possibly caused by "thoughts" put into his mind by that piece of Voldemort's soul that he has kept hidden in his chambers.  Holy crap, Batman!  You gotta come to your senses.I can't wait to find out what happens in the race to Dumbledore.  Now that the Horcrux is out from behind the protective wards Severus had placed on it, it is badly affecting both of them, and unless they can get to Dumbledore before one of them does something regrettable, the outcome could be very bad indeed!Fabulous chapter, Shell!  Keep up the good work.A Thousand Points to Your House!Beth*sending hugs, good vibes, and Calming Drought for RL  *

Holy hell, Shell!  I don't even know  where to start!  That Severus has a horcrux - but of course, there has to be a good reason for that.  That Hermione found the photo, oh, that isn't good for our man :(But why didn't she find the Horcrux when she was wandering the school? And that the book had been calling her, is that part of the reason for Severus's obsession?   So many questions!!!!!!!!But damn, this was so freaking good!  And oh, "I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Miss Granger." Gone is the lover, back is Snape. *gushes* I love Severus, bad and all!!!Keep writing!!!!!

Your Snape doesnt seem firmly on the side of the Order. He seems like he is playing the middle, helping the dark and light so he will survive whoever wins. This is not a critisism, I like a twisty Snape. And owls have souls. I was surprised by that. Does the color of the soul mean anything? Well that was one hellva surprise seeing Voldy and all the henchmen! Id have been freaked too. Voldy in her mind was especially creepy. I have to tell you when Snape was limping it wasnt a broken ankle I was thinking of. I thought Snape had been punished and violated. I am a sick thing arent I? Mahwhwahahah1!
