Sirius could complicate things, with the best of ill-advised intentions.

i liked that severus was comforting baby harry, and i like the notion that maybe he will get to have a happy ending with lily in your story. but somehow, the words "he would never lose her again," made me think "uh oh," as in famous last words. i hope i'm just becoming a bit of a cynic, and it wasn't a harbinger of bad times to come.

I'm glad he didn't take what she offered. Makes me think better of him for it. :)

I really feel bad for Severus here.  He's a bit delusional, but at least he wants some reality.  I'm not making much sense, but I kind of hope things work out for him.

What an amaizing moment when Severus realised Harry was more than just James' son, but a part of Lily too. i wonder how this will change all of them.

I wonder how all those little secrets that all the adults kept from Harry are going to change now that Lily is alive.How will Harry's life be diferent noe that he will grow up being loved by a parent?

i just read what you've done so far, and it's a very interesting start to this story. your take on the question of lucius made sense. and i liked how holding baby harry melted snape's heart a bit. i look forward to seeing how things play out in this version of events.

That scene with the baby was so sweet.  I hope it's not just an act on Severus's part.   Glad to see Lily had forgiven Severus.  I thought she was a bit hard on him in the books.It was neat to see Severus's thoughts about Lucius.  that he'd be more dangerous in Azkaban than out of it.  Looking forward to more!

Very good.  I like it alot!  I'm glad that Severus appears to like Harry for something. 

I like that he softened towards Harry, but he won't like her affection for James.  That could be a problem.

I have to say you've got Hagrid's dialect spot on here. At least to me it looks to be.Seems like Lily can't quite cope with James being dead, it looks like she forgot it. I wonder what sort of connection Severus has to it all for waking up like that.

The way you wrote Severus' confession, the hurt, pride, and pain you added was done in a way I don't think I've seen before. I'm so glad they are closer to a cure, the diet idea was great. HIS reaction to the idea - hilarious!Poor Hermione, to love a man so broken, and oh, Severus - to be so broken as to fear the real thing. This is gut wrenching.
