This is my favorite chapter. I think that every chapter but really this one is. Harry finally knows how it was. That both his parents are not perfect. It can be a shock, I know.

Yes, he will learn a lot about that during the next chapters. He'll see things he never realized before, but so will Snape. I think what I like best is a conversation coming up where Harry talks to him about how the Dursleys treated him and made him wear clothes too big for him and never having enough to eat. That will really resonate with Severus and the boy inside him who was just as maltreated.Thanks!

When I started this story, I didn't realize it would be a HG/SS romance. Now I'm wondering how I could have been so unobservant. I'm hoping there is lots more to follow. (The story that is, my being unobservant is a given.)

Well, it wasn't until many chapters into it that it started. So, don't feel weird :) Plus there is more than just a HG/SS romance too, the relationship between Harry and Snape will also be as just a dominant relationship as well. Thanks for reviewing. Don't worry, there is lots more to follow!

Dear Hidden one, I just caught up with this story after my summer vacation and I am overwhelmed with the emotional thunderstorm of these last two chapters. It was all just so beautifully sad... can't wait for the next one!

Very interesting mix of canon and alternate universe! It must have been hard to write this one! That is to say, I hope it was hard because I hope you never had such a terrible loss of a child happen to you. Thank you for this update, and I look forward to more.

Ok do you look for the most gut wrenching part and say "I think I will stop there"? I liked the scene in the last chapter where Ginny spoke privately to Snape and he was honest with her. It had a lot of heart. And this entire chapter displayed the emotions of Snape in an open and honest way. I'm glad he is not avoiding Harry. I hope they can come to an understanding and have the future Severus is looking for. Thanks for posting and I look forward to hearing what Severus is going to say next. Thanks, JoAnne

Aw he cried and all the dead. At least (the bear) Teddy still has his parents. Thats good. And at least now Harry has Severus side of the story. Brilliant work my dear Mystery Author.

this is very interesting. Poor Snape, keeping the toy and the rocking chair as his geatest treasures. That is very touching. I look forward to seeing more of this. So he's hoping to cure Lycanthropy? this is a different Snape from the one we see in canon through Harry's POV.

This is a different Snape. He has made a friendship with Lupin and wants to help him. Harry also doesn't always show us the whole person. Next chapter is going to be BIG. Harry will find out the truth of his past.Thanks

That was horrible. He is a right bastard. it was bad enough wtih Moira,but he didn't learn! I thought he'd learned and felt sorry for him, but he has a set back and then goes out and hurts an innocent young woman. he's ging to have to do some real repenting for me to forgive him. I hope later in the tale we find out what happend to moira and evangeline!

Snape will live to regret his lashing out and taking his anger out on women. He's going to be celibate for a LONG time. Believe me, he feels guilty and like crap. But he did learn a lesson. Making other people pay for the hurts others casued you doesn't fix anything.

That chapter more than any other one made me cry. I don't think this relationship is salvageable anymore. I just don't.

I really love this story.I hope Sirius is put in his place..........I could never warm to him. Poor Severus, I hope he find love soon but most of all I hope Harry and Severus get things sorted out. Many thanks

I guess I might be writing the same thing all over again, but every new chapter of this story makes me sad for all of them. I guess Harry won't be told until the final battle is over and so we still have more than two books to go... Thanks for another amazing chapter.

Oh, that was so harsh. Hermione didn't deserve that - even though I completely understood Severus' reasons. I can't believe I just admitted that - I has to be the way you wrote it, your words. Your Severus is so alive to me. 5+ stars to you

I think that you have Severus doing the best he can, but he is just a little mixed up on how to be helpful. I'm glad that he still loves Harry and considers him to be HIS boy.

He is. Severus never had the right role model on being a father, so he's doing what he thinks is best. Not that it is good, but his heart is in the right place. Harry will see that.
