She has, She's packing up to leave right after she takes her NEWTs. But the question is, will Severus get his act together and convince her to stay? Next chapter it will all be settled. Not the end of the story, but the decision of their relationship will be sorted.Thanks!

I hope Hermione went to talk with him. Or at least to gather her thoughts so she can talk to him within the next day or so. I don't know if she can convince him that she's not Lily and won't act like her, but it's worth a shot. I do hope he can see that and accept it eventually. It's one thing to have heard Harry's theory about Lily's death, it's another to believe without a doubt that his new love with Hermione won't end in a similar way, with her leaving him. Can he ever get there, oh mystery author?

Oh, I thought everything was going to be worked out in this chapter. I was grinding my teeth in nervousness. Will he find out about her sitting her tests early from someone else? How will he interpret it? Guess I'll have to be patient and wait for the next chapter.

I like this chapter. I enjoyed the talk Severus and Harry had, and the way Minerva spoke to Severus about both Lily and Hermione. I can actually see the bandaid for Severus' heart. Nicely done and very emotional.

Thanks! They will have another "heart-to-heart" later that will smooth everything out. Harry still has some issues with anger with Dumbledore and really believing that Snape really cares about him, so they will have another really good chat and resolve those things.Thanks!

So many great lines in this one. Here's my favorite: “For someone who prides himself on being right, you are sure dead set on remaining wrong!” the headmistress spat.I loved how Harry popped back in out of nowhere there. Lol.Oh, this was really heartbreaking. All of Severus' self torture throughout the years culminating in one chapter. I do see light at the end of the tunnel, and that's a good thing. Nicely done, once again.

excellent chapter! you've explained a lot to Harry, and he's the good lad we know he is, he accepts it. When Severus was talking about his father, you could actually see the perverted logic of his father's child-rearing practices.

How much time is left in school? Are we anywhere close to the point where she won't be his student? If he sleeps with her while she is a student, he's going to hate himself. But maybe he could be nicer to her. I hope things will get better. thanks for the chapter.

Wow. Had to read it twice to catch everything. Very well done. I really like Minerva's retort to Snape. LOL I also really love the way Snape explained himself to the both of them. Hopefully he'll be as forthcoming with Hermione...okay, well not completely. Don't we all love the sorry, snarky bastard! =]

Oh wowow you have some really great theories in here. The part of the blood lineage - through the mother. The whole bloodline thing and the comparison to Muggle royality. I especially loved the way Lucius told Harry - direct and with the edge of a knife. It really gave me chills. I wish Harry would tell Severus all that Lucius said, I think he needs to hear it too. It would really help Severus to see things in a diferent perspective. In the end the hug! I just mealted.
