I'm really enjoying this so far! Can't wait to find out what happens next...
Author's Response: you will find out soon - next chapter is being beta'd right now...
Excruciating cliffies! But thanks for the quick update, so glad Al is okay. *whew* Now I look forward to more!! I loved how Severus regrew Hermione's hair. One thing I just wanted to praise in general-- Marisol, I find it very interesting that you are playing with the idea that Hermione is *not* happy that she is in love with Severus. Its something that sshg shippers do not often consider-- he would be a very, very hard man to love in reality. So I find that very intriguing and very realistic. Though I of course hope for a happy ending. And Muggline, thank you for translating! You do a wonderful job; its as if this was written originally in english.

Thank you so much - yes, Hermione has quite a twisted emotional life. As for the ending - it is still unknown as the story is not finished in German either.

Ah, signs of Severus' returning humanity. He's been numb for so long that he probably didn't recognize that he had the power to affect someone else in a positive way. I'm glad little Al will recover. Although he pretty much had to-else there would be no child for Severus to be the Godfather of and the story would be over!Good chapter.

She does like drama....and cliff hangers. Well, I guess we will all just have to wait
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Yes, I guess it would be all right to call Marisol a closet drama queen ;-)

oh hooray al is fine, severus is relieved and even dare I think it? entertaining the idea of a possible romance with hermione? it was cute the way he "tolerated" james. its like he tries to dislike him outwardly but i think deep down he realizes that he may not be anything like his grandfather. just as Al will more than likely be significantly influenced by his godparents. on another thought im sure hagrid feels awful
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Yes, it was such a relief to know that the boy is fine. As to your second thought - I don't think that Severus is harboring any ideas of a romance at all. He hasn't had time to think of anything else but the boy. And maybe it's a good thing, because we all know what usually happens when he starts thinking too much...
Response from serpantstongue (Reviewer)
yes we do! a thinking severus is dangerous severus...well an even more dangerous severus! lol

Thank you for not having me wait too long. I just discover that with a gret deal of motivation, I can understand a bit of german. At least enought to understand that little Al' was in a better condition and that Severus explain to James where he could play in the garden. For the rest... I'm so glad you speak several languages. And the last sentance here leads me to believe that their relationship is about to change drastically. Am I close? :D
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Ahem... you might say so.

Wow!! So many things happened in this chapter, and I loved everyone of them. Albert Severus is going to be all right, James is no longer afraid of Severus, Severus has returned Hermione's hair to is full length, and he has taken her wrist to keep her from leaving Spinner's End. I can't wait to find out what they say to each other. I hope there will be, at least, a little hugging and kissing for my OTP. This is a marvelous story. Please tell Marisol how much I enjoy it, and please accept my gratitude for translating it for those of us who speak English!!!

OK- that's nearly as bad a cliff-hanger as last time! Marisol has no pity on us! This was a great chapter, and I am waiting desperately for the next one! Keep up the fantastic work!

What a great chapter. Ginny's hug and what she said to Sev was so touching and heartfelt it brought tears to my eyes as did many parts of this chapter. I hope Sev dosn't let Hermione go, and they make progress in the right direction. Please update soon

I had such a long, tiring day at work--it was a treat to come home and see that the next chapter was posted!"Relief" is right! I was getting worried. I've loved all of the interactions between Severus and Hermione so far--it was really sweet that he fixed her hair. And what will happen next with them? Thanks again for translating this so that those of us who don't speak German can enjoy it. I hope that the author knows how much we all love the story!

Yay, Albus Severus is going to be okay. And Severus took a step out of his bubble too. It's more of a giant leap for him, isn't it?
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
I think so. But what happens when he becomes aware of it?

Yes, that's why I really made an effort to translate this chapter very soon – I really felt bad to leave you without knowing about the child's fate.

This is wonderful. In fact you've motivated me to dust off my German/English dictionary and see if any of my old skills still exist.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Are you sure? Because a) I'm going to translate the next chapter very soon and b) Marisol has not written more than Chapter 28 yet.
Response from makaem (Reviewer)
I thought I'd look at the first chapter and use you as my cheat sheet. My sister asked me if I could still read a newspaper in German, and then a little later that day I noticed the note at the front of the story. I made it through the first paragraph before I gave myself a headache. It is much more fun to read your translation. But I wanted to see if I could read any of it, if that makes any sense. By the way, thanks for translating those stories.

How fitting that he fixed her hair as she slept, with her not knowing. Wonderful!
