I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. Let me begin by apologizing for not reviewing the previous chapters, but I must tell you that "Phantom of Hogwarts" is such a compelling love story that I could not stop myself from racing from one chapter to the next since I began reading! Nearly every minute that I could spend has been devoted to catching up. I wish I could remember who it was that recommended your story so that I could thank them.I love everything about your tale, and your description of the growing love between Severus and Hermione has touched my heart. Witnessing the evolution of Severus Snape, bat of the dungeons, to Severus Snape, consummate lover, has been a delightful journey. I look forward to this continuing story of discovery. I was very happy when Severus finally came to the point that he bloody well didn't give a tinker's damn what Dumbledore might think if he found out about his love for Hermione. Well done, Good_Witch! Dear Lord, you did it again. Another cliffie! I loved this chapter. Very hot. I really liked how Hermione confronted Severus on his double standards, and his reaction. And I really hope you're going to finish this in the next chapter. You can't just leave me hanging like that!

Yes, it was another cliffie, but not nearly as evil as the last one! LOL As for Hermione confronting him on double standards, it just seems to me like a REALLY Hermione thing to do. I know I've told you this before, but I really do love this story! Are there not other apothacaries in Britain that Severus could apply to, or could he and Hermione set up their own? I can't wait til the actual performances. Are you going to fully describe the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang performances too? Do you not think that Les Mis could also be done at Hogwarts, but as a HG/SS tragedy with Hermione as Eponine, although admittedly the other characters would not suit the HP characters a well. Sorry, too many questions! I really hope you update soon. C

Wonderful as always, dear. I know I've forgotten to review the last couple of chapters, for which I heartily apologise (I blame my brain). I love your detailed descriptions of the sets and the acting as much as the character-based stuff, so I particularly liked this chapter.I also really liked the fact that Hermione is uncomfortable with alcohol - I'm in my early twenties and I don't drink, and I sometimes get the impression that my friends think I'm a prude or something, just because I want to have fun without being off my head. Thank you for giving the message that alcohol doesn't have to be a part of life, if you know what I mean. ;)
So, yes, lovely chapter, evil cliffie, looking forward to the next installment!

Yeah, that was my personal agenda creeping in there. I am in my 30s and I can't stand alcohol. And, like I said in a reply to a previous review, I'm tired of alcohol being used as a tool to incite action or lower inhibitions. *shrug* I used to be REALLY vehement about it, and would get almost sick with stress if I was around it, but as I grew up, I managed to get that knee-jerk reaction under control and accept that everyone can make their own choices. Considering my feelings on the subject, it was actually kind of hard writing the scene with Snape and the firewhisky! LOL
As for the rest of the chapter: I'm glad I managed to get through several days this time. LOL!! And I'm glad you're still enjoying it. Thanks as always for reviewing! :)
I have read up to this chapter and thought I would leave you another reveiw. I can't stop reading this story. I only have so much time everyday and I have to get my fix. This is beautifully written story and I will be recommending it to several of my friends who are also SS/HG shippers. I can't wait to see what happens next. Will Severus be able to keep a level head around Hermione or will she tempt him too much?Thank you for writing this story.

LOL!! Well, as of right now, Ron's the only one who witnessed the whole Colin thing (witnessed, hell, more like spurred it on! *sigh* Poor oblivious Ron), so Ginny doesn't know to step in and play bodyguard. *has images of Ginny weilding that pike through Hogwarts halls, and prolly enjoying it far too much* Glad you're enjoying it, and thanks so much for reviewing! :)
A wonderful chapter! Fern was a delight. Those two working together would be quite entertaining! LOL I felt sorry for Hermione's mum ... she didn't realize she had gone a bit over the top (or a lot) when it came to Snape. Hermione almost tipped her hand with her anger, though. I'm sure her reaction will come back to mind when their relationship goes public. Durmstrang looks like competition. I love how you had McGonagall be the one looking for rule breakers and Severus being the voice of reason by reminding them to focus on their own performance. In fanfic, we usually see it the other way 'round. I look forward to more--your updates are always worth the wait!

I really like this story - I've never seen Phantom but you obviously know it very well. I am though a bit concerned about Hermione's character - she's still a virgin at eighteen and is intending to keep her virginity for the man she intends to spend the rest of her life with. She also has problems with nudity, her sexuality and has a very odd attitude to drink - was her father an alcoholic? With her background she would have been brought up in a house where wine on the table would be an everyday occurrance. I find her prudery very strange and rather disturbing. I find myself asking if she is mature enough for a relationship with Severus as an equal or is she looking for a father figure. All that aside, I'm looking forward to some on stage snogging in the near future.

"Onstage snogging"--LOL!!! As for Hermione, she's growing up, in pretty much every aspect. As for the alcohol, I admit, that's my own agenda. I was tired of seeing stories where teenagers drink (even though they're "adults") and where alcohol is used as a tool to further actions between a couple. As for her intending to keep her viriginity--she's been pushing the envelope, but Snape's been the one stopping. :) We're going to see a lot of topics discussed soon, not the least of which is her emerging sexuality. Thanks for your reply. I agree that alcohol is far too convenient a plot device to get two people together and underage binge drinking in Britain (under 18 that is) is a big problem. However, I just had this vision of Severus taking her out to dinner after she leaves school and asking 'what about some champagne' and Hermione replying 'no thanks I'd rather have a chocolate milkshake.' He's going to feel like a child molester.

And that's why I wanted the issue to come up early, so that wouldn't happen. Now that he knows she wouldn't want it, there's no need to even ask. I'm 31, and I've hated alcohol all my life, and my friends and loved ones know that. So, they're very considerate around me: knowing there's no point in offering, and not going overboard around me. It's not like I'm going to go off on a diatribe if my husband wants a beer every once in a while--I know everyone makes their own choices--but he knows that I wouldn't be into going to an event or anything where the sole purpose is to get drunk (which, unfortunately, seems to be the case at so many parties/clubs). I got lucky in that he doesn't care to "get drunk" or be around people who are doing so either. :) I'm so glad you replied, as I welcome the chance to address why I write what I do. Thank you so much for a great opportunity! :)

I seriously have a calendar marked with what happens when, so I can keep track of things and try to aim for plausibility (I know I'm already stretching the suspension of disbelief with the premise to begin with, LOL).
