I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. wow this story is so darn long. i have been putting off reading it because its so big and long and a wip. someone said that it isn't even halfway done yet it already has 52 cahpters. it's just a little disheartening for us who are just now trying to jump on the train for a ride.Is there any recommendation of what chapters are the most important to read so that i can catch up more quickly without reading through all the extra stuff? when do you think it will be over? is it true about the halfway?

Um, if you don't want to read a long WIP, then I wouldn't recommend reading this fic. As for which chapters are more important--I honestly couldn't tell you, as I wouldn't have written them if they hadn't a purpose to the progression. As for how far it is, I can say that it started on October 31 in the fic 'verse, and it's currently at February 6. The performance happens April 6. Now, does that mean that it'll take the same amount of words to get to that place as it's taken to get this far? Not necessarily. As it's gone along, some chapters cover many days, and some chapters cover only certain parts of one day, and a few chapters are needed to cover the entire day. It varies, depending on the events that are happening. I'm sorry you find it disheartening. Not surprisingly, I would view it the other way: if I see a very long fic, and I want to read it, I start, and if I like it, I know I have something I enjoy available to keep my interest for a while. I used to be able to update once a week, then once every couple of weeks, then a few weeks, and then it's actually hit a month a couple of times now, but I'm always striving to be able to update sooner, I just have more claims on my time now than I had when I began. *grumbles abour RL getting in the way, LOL* If the amount of fic is too daunting, then I thank you for taking the time you have already to give to reading this far. If you decide to keep reading, then I hope you enjoy it. Either way, thanks for reading, and thanks for reviewing! :)

I can't believe it's finished! 6 years of reading this fantastic story. I loved the ending! At least I know it's not quite finished yet, I have to go back and read it from beginning to end now! =D

Wow Great Chapter..I have to be honest tho I didnt think hermiones parents would act as bad as they did I thought they might have been shocked at first but then be okay with it i dod not expect them to get angry .... O well I cant wait for the next update...Erica

Well, I was basing this reaction on how my parents reacted when I announced my engagement (to an older man--8 years). LOL Actually, my mum waited three days before she lit into me. LOL I guess I was expecting my moms reaction lol. I am also engaged to an older man 11 years, and my mothers co worker, thats how we met actually...and when we told her she actually too it pretty well LOL:)

I can't quite believe how long it's been since my devotion and love of the story, and it's use of Phantom of the Opera began!This was just a lovely ending, that left me welled up by the end. The epilogue was touching, charming and simply perfect for the characters, which I myself, feel I have grown up with! It was honestly beautiful. I'm so sad it's over now.. the fic I have been most loyal to since I joined TPP.You must be very proud of this story; it's just wonderful. <3x x x x

Everything about the wedding was perfect, their choice vows and the place for their honeymoon could not have been better.Hermione's wedding dress is beautiful, and I would love to have been a fly on the wall to see how lovely/handsome the wedding party was. I'm sure Fred and George managed to take a few "surprise" photos of the people present. Like maybe at the reception? I can see Severus and Hermione standing close beside each other and enjoying the sight of all their friends and family... and if we could see them from the back, Severus would have his hand square on her butt. Don'cha just love that man?I loved knowing that both of them were welcomed at Hogwarts for the play with James and Albus playing their roles. And the icing on the cake would have to be knowing they'd be back next year to see a new performance of Phantom of the Opera! Well done.I have been enthralled since I began reading the first chapter, and this Epilogue was as good as the preceding chapters. Congratulations on this achievement of epic proportions. It is an engrossing and entertaining a story, and I thank you for hanging in there and making our little corner of fandom a brighter, happier place.I thought you'd like to know that when I saved a copy of this story in Word, it ran to 916 pages... Times New Roman, 10 pt.These flowers are for you.

*sniffles* You have left me some of the most lovely reviews... thank you so much! *beams* Once I wrote the description of the wedding party, I had a little fantasy of commisioning a fanartist to draw that scene... LOL I ended up having to split my Word docs into 7 parts, since once they got too long, it became unwieldy to find stuff in them. *snerk* But, I used Arial 12 point, so there were even more pages! The dialogue rang very true in this chapter. And, of course, Hermione's curiosity would get the better of her and make her want to be a fly on the wall, or a concealed person behind the couch in this case. Looking forward to more!

What a chapter! Hermione's parent's reaction was pretty much what I would have expected, and in view of Dione's earlier liking of the Potions master, I wasn't at all surprised that she was the one to adopt a more accepting position of their daughter's news. The whole scene rang true! I'm really looking forward to your next update. Well done!

This is a beatiful ending that really took this story back to its roots. I really loved reading it. The wedding vows were perfect for our favorite couple.Congratulations of finishing this epic piece. We may have disagreed on some of the turns but the journey was well worth it.Well done!

This has been a wonderful journey, and as much as I loved the happy ending, I do feel a bit sad that the journey is over. Then again, I will now have the pleassure of starting to read the whole story all over again, it has been a few years since I read the first chapters:-))Take great pride in a job well done, I hope we will enjoy many other stories from your hand and mind.

I loved it! Especially since Phantom is one of my favorite plays! This was a whopper of a story, but it wasn't boring at all! From beginning to end, it was exciting and hot! It's a shame that they decided against kids. Each his own I guess. At least they have their godchildren to spoil! I will definetly be looking out for your next story!Grace

Silly me, it took me a line or two to realize what they were quoting, and then I got all choked up over it. It was perfect.
