I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I absolutely love this story and am obsessed with the Phantom too now! I am currently rereading it from the beginning. I have a question that maybe you can answer, when Giry is taking Raoul down to the catacolms she says to him "Your hand at the level of your eyes", what does that mean? I know the Phantom mentions it later too.??

Have you read the book or listened to the soundtrack for the stage production? In both, they refer to the Punjab lasso, which is in essence a noose. So, to keep from being killed (like Buquet and Piangi). you keep your hand at the level of your eyes so you can break the hold of the lasso if it tries to get you. We'll see more with the lasso in later chapters as Raoul gets caught in it. So glad you're enjoying it, and thanks so much for reviewing! :)

Oh Crap. I was thrilled for this update and when I got to the end thats all I thought...oh crap. This isn't going to go well. I'm so glad he already has his bags packed! I was also happy to see that Hermione took the whole betrothal charm well. I was afraid she might have a bit of a spaz. This was a really great way to play the situation out. I was also happy to see Ginny running around trying to rally the troops. You go girl! Thanks for the wonderful update and please don't leave me hangin on this cliff too long. Much Love ~ Brena

I'm so glad that she got to see Spinner's End - she was brill with the Hogsmeade idea. And that attic scene... the pillows were a nice touch. ,I was kinda worried that she might freak and spill the beans when she confronted her mom. OMG! OMG! OMG! That was amazing! I'm so glad they can FINALLY be open about their relationship. :-D The crummy thing is that Harry is being such a butt, and Dumbledore is freaking me out!

Ah, classic as always! Can I just say that I love how you departed from what seems to be the standard fanfiction offering - Ron having more trouble accepting the truth than Harry. It was great to see Ron sticking up for her - and Ginny, too.Brilliant work. Looking forward to the next chapter. Hard to believe I started reading this in 2004 and I'm still hooked! :)

Dumbledore's about to run into Hermione. Watch out, Dumbly! You're in for your comeuppance now! At least, I'm guessing it's going to be Hermione who gives Albus a serious piece of her mind. So beautiful, so hearfelt, so romantic...so MEAN! LOL After Dumbledore's leaving with Dobby all I could think was "oh, what's going to happen and now *sobs* another cliffy!
I'm going to end up in a mental institution when this is over! I'm surprised noone has inquired on my behavior. Being anxious for like ever and then happy for like a sec and then sad for a bit and anxious again.

OMG!!! You ended the chapter there!!!! You cruel, cruel woman!!! LOL I have to say that this chapter was worth the wait! The anticipation, the first awkward momemts and the comsuming raging passion was beautifully written!! And they haven't truly consumated the relationship. Now that's what I call a discovery session! Now THAT's what I call an evil cliffhanger! Even though this chapter was longer than the last, it seemed frustratingly short to me. The Snape in my head would have chosen priviacy for a deeply personal moment like this. Therefore for me, your Snape chose a really odd time for his inner Gryffindor to appear! That's what's so amazing about this character and this fandom: there's a Snape for everyone.As I indicated in my last review, there was no doubt your choice would leave me wanting more and that's exactly how this ended. I can't wait to read the next chapter!!

What an evil cliffhanger! I have been hanging on to this story all the way through with baited breath. I love your writing style, it's bold, engaging and captivating. Brilliantly written! The emotions you show everyone ging through, the shock and apparent slow uptake and in a few cases acceptance were so clearly and beautifully written I could see and feel them! Ron showing such maturity was nice, and Harry's disbelief and confusion so vivid it was palatable. Even Minerva's reaction was so fluid and in character. ANd Dumbledore! Oh,my gods, I'm on pins over what he'll do!
