I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. I am happily married and (thankfully) have NO kids. I have an original short story published here: http://www.elm-books.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=R01%2DChristmasBadGirls under my penname, Jess Alynn. Thanks for taking a chance and reading my stories! :)
Oh, and check out the "trailer" for Phantom of Hogwarts that xtahsee made for me on youtube! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k63yCE9sslY
Reviews for Phantom of Hogwarts
Not Fair! Not Fair! That ending was one of the most evil cliffies I have read in a long time. Please! Please! update soon (with pleading puppy dog eyes). Luv and Blessings, PT.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Evil? But... it wasn't a BAD cliffie, like some of the others have been! *affects shock* I mean, remember the one where Ginny figured things out? *wicked grin* LOL Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, even with a cliffie. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
LOL I'm not trying to be cruel! Honest! (I guess it just comes naturally? *snerk*) I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for reviewing! :)
I love how there's much more descriptions of the interactions and relationships between the characters than earlier in this story, they're all so belivable, especially Snape and his past.Oh yeh and BTW you introduced me to Phantom of the Opera which I now love- thanks!
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*blush* Thank you. You just made my day. I try so hard to be plausible/believable/realistic, so knowing that you feel they are makes me VERY happy. Oh, and keep on enjoying PotO too. LOL Thank you so much for reviewing! :)

SNERK!! I'm sorry, but you must know how MUCH I LOVE THIS STORY...Egads woman I have the thing PRINTED out......YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! Hugs,
Very intense chapter. I like the way you made them all come to some conclusions about each other.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
"intense" *nods* Yeah, that would defintely be a good word for it. *whew* Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for reviewing! :)
oooh I got a mention :P yay me... *wonders what I did to deserve it tho* hmm ... *slips a couple fingers into you* ;)I also realized I never commented on this story sooooo here ya go then :D oh, and I think you accidentally posted that chappy twice... might wanna check that out :P
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
You were part of my feedback team. :) As for it posting twice, yeah, there were problems with the uploading and I had to leave for work, so now I'm sorting it all out. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
OH! Evil cliffie! So, he's finally going to her rooms! LOL! EVIL place to stop! Very wonderful, haunting scene. Loved it. As always, the music sets the tone for the chapter, although I noticed that you didn't once mention the song or the lyrics. However, I'm still singing it. :)I can hardlly wait to read more! Thank you for writing such a lovely story. ~Ginny
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*beams* I guess I'm at the point where I figure the lyrics have already been addressed, so I don't want to belabour them. LOL I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I was very nervous about a lot of this chapter. Thanks as always for reviewing! :)
Yay! Another good chapter! I rather liked Hermione pointing out Severus' behaviour being so similar to his own father's. And, oh, I like everything, really.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
LOL!!! Why thank you; I'm so glad you enjoyed it. *beams* I wanted to try to show some sort of emotional growth happening in this story, so I hope it's coming through okay. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
Good-Witch. You have to get back on your bike and finnish this story. It has taken me a full week (with three mid-sem tests to study for besides) to read this mammoth effort, and now I am frustrated and cranky that there is not more. Damn you - curse you.Great writing BTW. It was fun to see two stories blended together, that by all rights shouldn't be on the same page. I was cautious at first reading a crossover fic, but your handling of the subject matter has been masterful.Ok, so enough with the cyber pat on the back - and out comes the whip - Write damn it! Finnish the story so that I can stop humming bloody Andrew Lloyd Webber numbers under my breath.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*hides from the whip* Severus, help me! LOL I'm not slacking, I swear! Check out my livejournal for update info: http://pern-dragon.livejournal.com/ There you'll see all the other stuff that gets in the way of my writing. *scowls* I'm sorry you're cranky, but I'm impressed that you managed to get through this "mammoth effort" (oh, what a GREAT description! LOL) so quickly. And thank you so much for the lovely praise. I'm glad you enjoyed it so far. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
Please update!!! I can't wait for more!! This fic is perfection, it just keeps getting better and better. And I just keep getting more hooked.*checking frantically every day for an update*:)
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Awww, thank you! *beams* Unfortunately, RL has been keeping me from my writing, so while I will be continuing, it probably won't be until May at the soonest. :( Sorry! School, work, and family stuff just have to come first. Don't forget to check out my LJ for info on what's going on wiht my on my end. http://pern-dragon.livejournal.com/ And thanks so much for reviewing! :)
Naughty! Naughty, Severus! I know it was hard but it is good that he let Hermione use the Pensieve. And he did do better with Harry. What a man! Magic makes everything more wonderful. What can our magical kids do, that those without magic can do better? The answer...Nothing.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
I gotta say, it was quite the challenge to figure out something to fit the little we were told in the books about what happened between Snape and the Marauders, but it was an enjoyable one! Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
Absolutely brilliant!
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*blink blink* Wow! Why thank you! :)
Wow, so moving and intense, that must have taken a lot out of you when you were writing it. I cried, naturally as I'm sure so many other readers have and I've got to say, I feel like I know Snape so much better as well, Goodness I don't think I've ever been so involved in a story apart from the actual Harry Potter books, wow, well that must mean that your story is as good as them! anyway, you're probably sick of me reviewing your story, but seeing as it's like my favourite, i wasn't going to not review. Anyways more hugs awarded to you, keep writing, can't wait for more.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Oh, honey, I NEVER get sick of getting reviews! What kind of review whore would I be if I did? LOL As for your exceptionally kind words... *blush* Thank you. Very much! It did take a lot out of me writing that, but if it drew you fine folks in the way you say it has, then it was worth every excruciating second. Thank you so much for reviewing, as always! :)
A very sad & moving chapter. The chapter was very well written/
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*blush* Thank you. I'm sorry it was sad, but I like that you found it to be moving. :) Thank you so much for reviewing! :)
Great chapter. I'm glad that information is off his chest. I hope Hermione doesn't ask more probing questions for a while and give the man a break. How will she show Harry what Severus has been through and why he's the bravest man he knows?
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*blush* Glad you liked it! Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
I'm looking forward to reading a new chapter for this wonderful story. Please update soon, if possible
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Oh, I am still percolating, even if RL keeps conspiring to stop me from actually typing it out! Hopefully, after I graduate May 8th, I'll have nothing BUT this fic to focus on, and that'll be faboo. Thanks so much for the continued support! :)
wow...such an emotionally intense chapter...very draining to read, so I can only imagine what it was like to write...well done...update again soon!
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Yeah, it was rather intense, so I'm glad it came through as well! Even though it wasn't all sunshine and butterflies, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
Response from queenp (Reviewer)
Life isn't sunshine and butterflies, so why should the stories we read have to fit there? I did enjoy the emotional storm you put us through for this chapter. Hermione can now better understand Severus and why he acts as he does. This will enhance their relationship. Again I say, "well done!" Now, get us a new chapter ASAP!!!!!!!!
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*snaps a salute* Yes, Ma'am! I'll get on that right away, Ma'am. ;) LOL
OMG.....This chapter has me in tears.....I LOVE IT!!! Poor Severus....Once again you have outdone yourself!!! EXCELLENT!! Can't wait until Hermione and Severus see one another again!...HURRY Please!!!!!
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*grin* I'm only a little sorry it had you in tears. Since it was supposed to be sad, that means it worked! LOL I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks as always for reviewing! :)
...jesus. I was crying when i read that. that's the first time that's ever happened to me. not just a tear, actual crying. bugger.-Liz
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Awwww! I hope you'll manage to feel better! I wanted it to be affecting, but not depressing! :) Still, I'm glad it worked to that end, and thank you so much for reviewing! :) wormey's response: 'Sall good. post-partum hormones and all that :D-Liz
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
*whew* Then I won't take all the blame. LOL Oh, and congrats then! :) wormey's response: weeeeeeeelllll....I might be using it as an excuse now. Tana is 20 weeks old, so i hope they last that long, if not then i'm just hormonal natrually! lol-Liz
Lovely update :) Still really enjoying your story and looking forward to more. Thank you for writing
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Why thank you! *curtsies* I'm glad you're still enjoying it, and thank you so much for reviewing! :)
*praises* Don't think I've reviewed this story yet. Just thought I'd let you know how wonderful this is. It inspired me to watch the movie again...and again...and again. It never really hit me how well they would all work in the roles you gave them. Brilliant, simply brilliant.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Awww... *blush* You're so sweet! *beams* I'm so glad you're enjoying it, and thanks so much for reviewing! :) Oh, and keep enjoying the movie... ;)
When/if Severus brings up the books and magazines, it will be best if Hermione can simply take it in stride and say half jokingly, "Well if it made you uncomfortable, that's what you get for going into my room without asking first. I've been doing research. I want to make sure I'm prepared for all of our relationship when school is over. I also wanted to learn how to write steamy letters to you." Telling him the truth without letting herself become sidetracked with being annoyed that he went in her room and messed with her things without her permission, will just make it no big thing. Choose the hills worth dying on. This one isn't a hill worth dying on. Now, as long as Severus can keep his imagination from creating a reason to be jelouse about the magazines, they should be able to laugh it off and maybe read some together. I admit I have a double standard. I'm not sure of it's genesis, but I would feel different if I found the wizard version of smutty magazines in Severus' rooms if I were Hermione. It would be hard for me to believe he had been doing research looking at naked witches. I wouldn't be offended by an erotic book section. There is a difference but I can't explain it right now.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Oh, it'll come up, but I promise, it won't be a blow up like previous things have been. ;D They're learning as they go and they are actually getting better at handling this whole relationship thing... Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
I do hope that Hermione is realizing that she needs to stop jumping to conclusions. The information about his parents will hopefully warn her to approach her questioning carefully. I do hope she realizes his life thus far has been very painful and avoids unnecessary probing questions that will come out on their own with time. Stick to, "What's your favorite food?" questions for now, Hermione. You have plenty of time to find out the things no one else knows about him. There won't be any reason to share those things with others so it won't affect whether or not other people accept your relationship. I also sincerely hope that Hermione takes to heart that Severus is a very private man and not tell other people things, thinking that if they knew more about him they would like him better. The last few minutes of their time together was nice.Did he turn her away from him so that he would have more self control? On to the next chapter now.
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Ah, well, that's out Hermione for you: always seeking knowledge! LOL Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
OMG! Hermione is too sensitive! When has he really had the chance to tell her when his birthday is? And maybe he hates his birthday and doesn't want anyone to celebrate it. I know people who hate to be the center of attention and dread their birthdays. Of course, I'm older than Hermione, but she does know this about him; he hates to be the center of attention. Couldn't she see how much he hated having Happy Birthday sung to him? I will be so glad when Hermione has the epiphany that not everyone thinks and feels the way she does and that's a normal part of life. She's really being a brat right now. Even if she's upset, pouting and ignoring Severus is mean and immature. She knows how sensitive he is. She is purposely hurting him because she feels like slighted. Not the way to deal with such matters if she plans to preserve this relationship. They urgently need some couples counseling. Someone should give them each a book on good communication, fair ways to disagree, the wrong ways to disagree and the problem with assuming you know what the other person's motives are or what they are thinking. Most of all, she needs to show him at least as much mercy and forgiveness as she shows her housemates. She's more worried about hurting Colin's feelings than hurting Severus'. She needs to stop this emotional roller coaster they are riding! Ye gads! One of them is mad at the other and pouting at least once a week!
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Welcome to immaturity and paranoia, Hogwarts edition. *snerk* I promise they will learn from all these problems. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
Dear Hermione and Severus need to learn to be a bit less touchy about reading into what the other one is saying. It wastes the little time they have together explaining what they really meant. I must admit though, that learning how to be in a relationship takes time. As for the letter problem now the Christmas is past, I was thinking while I read. Hermione can continue to hand letters in to Severus with her assignments. Why can't Severus send an owl at a different time of day when he knows she would be in her room? Is there a window to the Headgirl's room? He could send an owl at bedtime. It would be very romantic. If Severus doesn't have his own owl, now would be a perfect time to get one. That would solve a lot of communication problems. Hermione could send answers back with his owl. As for the problem of Severus getting to the different places on the stage in time, I am looking forward to the Headmaster's solution. Does the no apparition wards in the school apply to teachers? Can they be set to recognize Severus and let him apperate on stage? Or, he could disillusion himself and cross the stage to the statue. Just a thought. I'm sure you've come up with a smashing solution! Loving it!
Response from Good_Witch (Author of Phantom of Hogwarts)
Poor darlings are trying so very hard to figure out how to do this whole relationship thing right, but they do have such hurdles to jump, don't they? ;) Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
