I confess that I didn't start reading this story until a few days ago. However, this is absolutely my favorite SS/HG fic of all time. It is BEAUTIFULLY written, and astoundingly well-developed. You are to be commended on your talent as a writer and storyteller.That being said...keep writing and get that next chapter up!!! ;)

OMG! The one day I decide not to go on the internet and sort out some RL stuff... ahhh you update!!!! Lol!I'm so glad they managed to get Dumbledore to understand... at least a little! Oh, she asks cheekily, was that the Elder Wand that Hermione just forcibly took from Dumbledore???I'm a little surprised that Albus didn't retaliate using wandless magic. After all, we've been led to believe he is the great and powerful Oz. But, that would have put a real crimp in the trust factor if the old guy had lashed out in anger at them.Emotionally, this was a roller coaster ride. Well done, indeed.

Too awesome, the pique of AD's reaction to entering SS's chambers where he finds them together and is throwing hexes... to crying into his beard and awestruck by his foolishness and the depth of their love, the transitions were marvelous!  I wanted to wait on reviewing last chappy b/c I knew this was sort of connected... boy taking them in is almost overwhelming.  I'm still loving the progress, keep up the good work!As ever - thank you for the update and and I remain on the edge of my seat patiently waiting for the next chappy!

YES!  Hermione owned Dumbledore.  I think he got just what he deserved.  I'm glad that he finally came around though and supports the two of them :)But I think that Hermione's parents are going to be much harder to persuade than Dumbledore ,especially since it's prolly not a good idea to force them to listen by disarming them...LOL :D

While I hadn't minded Dumbledore roasting above a blazing fire, I must admit that your way was a lot better in the long term:-)) (But, you could at least give Harry a smack, could you not?)I understand Severus dread of meeting the parents in this situation. Hermiones father should be the "easy" one I think, I am more worried about her mother. I am so looking forward for the next chapter!

Another emotionally cahrged chapter. I have to say, I was deeply impressed with how calm-relatively so, Severus was. Seeing Dumbledore break down, I really hope things are repaored now in his realtionship with the man - both of their friendships do far back and it's about time Dumbledore start to respect Severus, not just own him.I'm sure there will have to be repersussions in the wizarding world and I'm sure there will be questions to answer. I hope Hermione's parents don't freak out, but surely they saw some of Severus' regard for their daughter and might have some understanding for them. *crosses fingers* Good - stike that - GREAT chapter!

Thank goodness Severus was so quick to react when Dumbledore appeared with Dobby in his chambers!  I would hate to think what might have happened if the irate Headmaster had gotten the upper hand.  At that moment he was so angry that he would never have given the newly engaged couple a chance to defend themselves.

When Hermione relieved Dumbledore of his wand I cheered!  Her quick thinking set the scene for him to have to listen to what she and Severus had to say.  It was a sad thing that it took Severus' allowing him to see inside his mind to satisfy himself that Severus and Hermione's love and devotion to each other was genuine and complete.  but at least he had the good graces to admit that what he saw in Severus' mind was true and good and that they really were totally dedicated to each other's happiness.  I was very pleased at the Headmaster's heartfelt apology and his pledge to help make their case to the "powers that be."  His reluctant realization of how his treatment of the Potions master had hurt and humiliated the younger man was a day late and a nearly a dollar short, but the old man can redeem himself by assuring all and sundry that the soon-to-be-married couple have done nothing to inspire punishment.

As important as it is to have Dumbledore calm the situation with those at Hogwarts and the Ministry, I think the most important thing for Severus and Hermione to do first is to see the Grangers and tell them of their love for each other and their firm decision to marry.  In Chapter 63, after watching the first performance of the play at Hogwarts, Mr. Granger told his daughter that he realized she was an adult:  “You’re a grown woman now, Hermione. I realized that when you were home in November. You’re almost finished with school."  Hopefully Mr. Granger will remember his words to Hermione when the couple tells them of their plans.I'm really looking forward to the next chapter to see just how everything will go with the Grangers and with Dumbledore's efforts to defuse any problems at Hogwarts.  Thank you for another fabulous chapter!Beth

Awesome scene!  Snape was amazingly quick off that ottoman to respond to Dumbledore's invasion of their privacy.  I just wish he'd  managed to hex him painfully hard!I really like the way the confrontation scene played out.  Using Legillimancy was a fantastic way for Snape to show Dumbles the truth - especially the way he was able to force him to share the pain he'd caused.  That was wonderfully done.   Disagreements aside, I really do LOVE this story.Now it's on the meet the parents.  I can't wait!!

I don't believe I like this affinity you've developed for cliff hangers :-) But I must say, I do love the chapter!

aha! i knew they'd duel. and the old man reduced to tears. thats what he gets for being a git. It was better in two parts. thanks for it. oh dear...the parents. Her mother will be slightly jealous and affronted. her father shall be quite upset and angry. oh dear me!  =p

Wow -- another awesome chapter!  What an incredibly long night for Hermione and Serverus.  But I agree with Hermione -- not a minute to spare to get to her parents.I hope Sev is able to restore his friendship with Minerva as well as he did w/ DD.Looking forward to MORE!

Evil woman lol. I knew you wouldn't write the wedding yet, but I at least hoped to see her parents reactions lol. Is there only one more chapter left? I've been haunting this site and your LJ to see when you were updating.  I was squeeing when I saw this.  I'm so glad that Dumbledore has at last apologized and that he and Severus have reconciled.  Hopefully, he'll be able to get things under control.Hmmm... I wonder what Hermione's parents will say, especially her mother?  *suspenseful music*  ;)
