I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. Consummation! At last! At LAST!!This first night in their home has surely been worth all the drama they have gone through during the past few hours. And even though they have now consummated their relationship, Hermione is no longer a student, and under Veritaserum, Severus could still testify that they had not had intercourse before she had finished school, and she was not a student nor a minor when they did. Besides, Dumbledore has seen for himself that Severus is very serious about his love for Hermione and his intention to protect her from all perils. For herself, Hermione has made it clear that she is completely in love with Severus and intends to spend her life with him as his wife.Now there's Minerva. What a shock it was for Severus to find her standing on his doorstep first thing in the morning. Hopefully she has come to understand their relationship through having heard what Ginny and Dumbledore have had to say. As important as Dumbledore's support for them will be where the Ministry is concerned, I think on a personal level, support from Minerva would mean the world to them both and especially so for Severus.Thank you for such a fabulous update! I can't wait to see what happens next.Beth

Question: Do you know not how to end on a cliff-hanger leaving your poor readers desperate for more?I love that their first time is real, I'm so tired of these romance-novel perfect sex scenes. Poor Severus is going to get such an earful, especially since he's almost naked!

LOL I'm sorry about yet another evil cliffy, but it would have detracted from the chapter about the two of them if I had continued and added Minerva to the mix. As for the realistic first time... *happy dances* I love that you enjoyed it! I feel the same way about the perfect-first-time sex and I wanted it to be believable. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

Hehehehehe... lets hope that Hermione is more modest when she wakes up, lol.But I really hope that Minerva has some form of grudging acceptance... and that she's just there to threaten Severus with looking after her Gryffindor... I mean, if she didn't have her wand trained on him when he opened the door... I can only hope that Ginny got through to her.Very hot chapter :DOh.... I hate RL and having no time to write!!! *Sighs* I will do my best to be patient for the next chapter!!

Oh, don't get me wrong... as much as I would like to know what Ginny etc said to Minerva... please, not a whole chapter... that would be... be torture or something. Not because of the chapter itslef, but because that chapter would retract from Hermione waking up and finding Severus gone... and Severus desperately trying to do up his trousers ;p and and and and and and and and...*sulks* *perks up*Unless, of course, you manage to write 2 chapters ;p 1 for Minerva, and 1 continuing on... both loaded at the same time. It would be like an orgy of PoH!!! Ooooh, I like that idea very muchly :D*ponders of the ethical use of Imperio*
Er ... I haven't finished the chapter yet but I'm confused. I thought they were waiting to allow Dumbledore to straighten everything out before they consummated their love? I thought Dumbles said the fact Hermione was still a virgin might come in handy in his efforts? I have to go back and re-read the big HG/SS/AD confrontation first. I must have missed something. But if I didn't they must have even more troubles ahead for them now, right? 
That would be fine with me - I never want this story to end!!

Ah, you're missing the crucial piece: they're out of Hogwarts now. :D AD will be working to quell the uproar by being able to vouch that they never had sex (in the very limited, PIV sense) while she was a student or even at Hogwarts as a guest (as Snape described since she was still there although she was done, but was waiting to do the performance). When they leave, they're both consenting (and engaged now!) adults in their own home, so that part's irrelevant to the question of their relationship while at school. :) It's all very precise (in my crazy head). Gotcha ... kinda! Now that I've read the chapter I love how you managed to "keep it real" as a first time experience for them. Now I'm really curious to see what happens next with Minerva. She was such a Snape supporther throughout this year. It will be awful to watch if she chooses to shun him over this.As usual, you've managed to leave us wanting more. I hope RL allows you to relieve our cliff-hanging before the holidays!

Great chapter, and I loved the lemony scene even though it did get a little angsty. Hermione and Severus needed to have that discussion so they could move on and learn to please one another without having any reservations.
