Then twenty years later, Hermione Granger finds the room. Suddenly she’s confronted by Severus Snape, who’s always considered tower room to be his own private little nook, finds herself not only under the rooms spell, but must now meet the conditions of the room with the one professor that has always been her biggest enigma.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

Thanks for another great chapter. I look forward to each update!

You are most welcome. I'm fixing up the next one to send to my beta!
they are becoming bolder LOL
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
yes, they are.
It is quite risky of Severus and Hermione snogging outside the Gryffindor common room. Even though it is after curfew, someone may have walked by. Possibly even Ron, if he had decided to wait awhile before heading back to the common room.I wonder at what point Lily decided to dump Severus. Does she go out with James right afterward, or will she wait awhile. Hopefully something similar does not occur between Hermione and Severus.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Well, yes, he took quite a risk, but then Sev is used to taking risks. I'n regards to Lily and Severus, you'll see. and it's painful.
I've just discovered this story, and I have to say that it's amazing! I really like how Severus has been pulled into an infatuation with Hermione. It's a nice change to see him as the pursuer instead of the pursued.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you and I'm really glad you've found it. Yes, I thought he should have a bit of comtrol for a change, even if the spells are urging them along.

My goodness, this was a good chapter! You do know this is just one of my absolute favorites, right? On to what I liked:
I am enjoying Lily's progression with Severus, which is not to say that it's going anywhere good, but that she's reacting much as any woman with common sense would. Enough fighting already, boys! She seems more mature, and she stood up to Severus when he silenced her. Which, by the way, would have made me absolutely furious. He'd be down a testicle for doing that to me.
And I am also enjoying how Severus seems to be getting a little possessive of Hermione. I wonder if he realizes that at the same time as sexualizing her, he also treats her like a child? He expects perfection on her test, quizzes her on the venom, etc. It's an interesting juxtaposition, and will certainly lead him into dangerous territory (not that they aren't already).
Excellent chapter! I liked a lot of other things, too, by the way!
Author's Response: Well, thank you. "blushes* I'm very happy you enjoyed the chapter.
I'm glad you enjoyed Sev's spell on Lily - she didn't! But no, she didn't hex his bullocks off!
AS for Sev and Hermione's relationship, well he is her teacher and it's hard to drop the role, especially for him. But yes, he's showing his possessivness a bit, isn't he?
oh pleasepleaseplease let ME serve detention under severus!! lovely, just lovely. thanks and i so look forward to your updates.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Ok, I'll just send him a note: Sev, Kimjo wants detention under you. Hope that helps!
Ah, Severus can't seem to be indifferent with Hermione when they are away from the Tower Room. He makes sure she is away from Ron, gives her knowing glances, follows her, and gives her a good snogging. I love it. Lily--why does she blame Severus for the bulk of the fighting? Does she not see that it is at least 2 to 1, at most 4 to 1? Why is she friends with such buffoons as Potter and Black? Those two appear to be arrogant show-offs and Black has the additional fault of being a womanizer. So what if they are in her same House. I feel sorry for Harry. His father and Godfather were people of little character and they were truly prejudiced against someone who they considered ugly.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yes, Severus is treating Hermione as if she is his girl even though he hasn't declared it yet. But she has gotten to him...Lily isn't actually friends with Potter or Black at this point. They are housemates and Potter is trying to gain her friendship/attention but it isn't working yet. Lily is friends with Lupin, though. Yes, they attack Severus 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 (Pettigrew isn't much else than a sidekick-cheering squad) Yes, Harry's dad and godfather were right prats/bullys in school, so I'm not painting them as 'good guys.'
WOW! This was definitely one of the best chapters you have written so far. Absolutely wonderful writing. As i've said I love stories involving sneaking around the castle and this chapter epitomized that. Reminiscent of some of the scenes in a favorite story of mine, "Taking me Over." Anyways I hope we get a few more chapters of them sneaking around and messing around that are a fun and sexy as this before too much plot takes over. Really great update, I hope more is en route!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Oh, geeze, thank you! *blushes* I'll have a bit more, but time is running out...
Awesome chapter. I didn't realize I would like SS/LE as much as I do in your story. Of course, we all know that SS/HG RULES ALL!!! :-9 (yummy)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. I'm glad that you like the LE/SS as much as the SS/HG. It's fn to be working out both relationships and how they progress.
I couldn't help but notice that Severus was always where Hermione was...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yeah, well he was paying her a bit more attention wasn't he? Teehehe
I think the amount of venom is appropriate. You did well being so thorough. Most authors would ignore those minor details.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Nah, I love minor details! I'm glad you liked it!
I just started reading this yesterday, and it's a great story! I love it! PLEASEEEE Update soon, i got so sad when i realized that i had to stop reading.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Bella, Thank you for the sweet reveiw. Have cheer, the next chcapter is in queue!
I find it truly amaizing that between hermione and Lily, Hermione is the responsive one, almost to the point where she is pushing him, while Lily is pulling away the more Severus pushes, yet Severus still wants to choose the memory of his first love over this youn, passionate witch who wants HIM! OK, rant over.Great chapter by the way.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
No no no, Please rant away. Unfortunately that is exactly what is happening. And the memory of the first relationship, how Lily reasponded to the spells on the room is haunting him so that he feels all the mor like he has to protect himself (althought this is seen throught a confuesed Hermione's POV who doesn't know this)Thank you for the reveiw.

OMG!!! I did not guess this was you!!! I don't why. I had no guesses at all. But anyway! So thrilled it was you, for some reason! For the last week, on another account of mine, I've been talking to folks about the ETR. We have been dying to know who you were! Now I'm going to spill the beans!
Oh, and I think I can speak for my friends over there: More? Seriously? And... how did this not win? I didn't enjoy anything else like I enjoyed this! And I did vote! Well, dammit. You've got a trophy in my heart. *outrageously dramatic sniffling*
Author's Response: LOL I wonder if anyone thought it was me? I'm very flattered and happy you're thrilled it's mine. wow. Thank you for suggesting this to your friends, I appreciate that. If your friends read this I hope thay like it as well.
Yes, I have more, several chaps to go actually. there were some really good stories in the challenge and from what was said, the voting was tight and close. Thnak you for your support, *and blush* your comments. It's really sweet of you to think so.
Author, I'm curious about a few comments you made. You cannot get onto the stairs unless you are with someone with whom you are meant to be together or unless you are soul mates and are destined for each other.Lily and Severus, well, I just don't see them falling into either situation. The vibe I get is that Lily goes to Severus almost reluctantly, very much in conflict with her self-will. It seems that her heart is truly rejecting the compulsions, and that just doesn't speak to me as being "meant to be together." As for being "destined for each other," can a person be destined for two people in the Great Beyond? The room requires you to go forward with your relationship each time, the spells push your relationship forward... he was helpless to fight it!Forward to love? to soul binding extending into the Great Beyond? With Lily, Severus loves her freely, by choice, without any prompting from the spells (while Lily fights them). With Hermione, I see him as half-heartedly resisting, while she doesn't truly understand the implications of what the spells ultimately produce, or what they fully signify. So, will Severus stop fighting them and deliberately decide to love Hermione as a soul mate, thereby discrediting his love for Lily?
Response from color (Reviewer)
Oh, one more thing. I love it!!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Color,
This is a tough one to answer without giving too much away at this point. But break it down:
Unless you are meant to be together – destiny can have many faces and intents. One can be meant for a purpose, a choice or a path taken that makes something happen in the ripple of time and events. If you could go back and change something – would what you changed only affect the one thing you thought was wrong?
Soul mates – the other half the perfect fit soul to soul.
Destined for each other – again, destiny - fate - chance.
The thing is that when the spells were cast the wording opened up possibilities, definitions, interpretations and magic took over. There is a reason Hermione could pass the barrier when she was with Ron and Harry…
Just as there was a reason Lily found the entrance when she was with Severus. It's actually canon.
The second question: the room requires you to move your relationship forward – is again subject to the interpretation of the individual. This is what the Bloody Baron intended when he cast the spell – the question is forward to what? All three relationships I have given here tGL/tBB, LE/SS and HG/SS were/are moving forward… to what will be. The question is if the sexual aspect really is because of the spells – I can’t tell you this now.
For each person they met the qualification for entry: meant to be together or unless you are soul mates and are destined for each other… but it will have to be revealed what that is for each person. As frustrating as this answer is, I've actually given away a lot. For those who figure it out and feel as if I've given a huge spoiler - I'm sorry. I hope you continue to like the story and how I unfold it.Whew! That was a great chapter. Can't wait for more.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Working on the 'more' part!
Excellent Chapter look frward to more

Thnak you very much.
Holy Cow! This is sooooo hot! Keep up the good work....
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. I sure hope you like the rest as much!
HEHEHE! I had a laugh with the last bit! More, please! I think this story is wonderful!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you I intend to - just have to tidy it up a bit first.
It's clear that the same enchantments are working across the two different time periods, but what happened thatSeverus and Lily split up? Since DH, I've had a fantasy that those two lost their virginity to each other - is it goingto happen? But I'd rather it happen naturally and notbecause of some spell or curse (sigh). The older Severusseems to be very much in control of the situation, but heis behaving out of character, in that he wouldn't normally,I'm sure, consider an affair with a student, so I'mguessing that he is also a victim of enchantment. This isso intriguing, and very, very hot!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I'm purposfully using the time periods to show that history for Severus is repeating. That he's enchanted by the tower, both when he was 17 and now still as a professor. But no, it's not a 'working across time' thing it's a 'going through it again' thing. The tower room affected both Severus and Lily, and drew them together assisting Sev into a sexual realtionship with Lily. And now he's caught in the same thing with Hermione - yes. Only there is a difference - you can see it on how the girls act away form the tower. Thank you for the review. I hope to answer some more questions as I unravel the story more.
I'm now wondering whether Snape himself is setting those spells... If most of them fade over time or they don't seem to fit right that might make sense! It would also mean his constant warnings to Hermione are actually a guilt complex. I'm loving the more explicit scenes and I can't wait for the next update!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
LOL No, he didn't set the spells on the Tower room. The Bloody Baron and the Grey Lady (+ one other) set them when they were alive. Severus warnings are because this is his second time caught in the tower's spells with a girl, so for him history is repeating... and he doesn't really want to end up with regrets and unrequitted over Hermione the way he did with Lily.
Response from TemptFate (Reviewer)
Worth a shot! I thought he might have been inspired by the first time with Lily
Well the finally did the deed but the actual deed was her first time and she did not get to enjoy it as much because of that I would say. All the points up to - were very good for her. Severus reading her mind and telling her that she was very kissable was a good throw in. I loved the whole time the spent researching. When he asked her to leave and she asked what was wrong, I had the feeling that he was going to pounce on her in a minute if she did not go. Good writing.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Teehehe He very well might have. Poor Severus, his just a man after all and having someone you desire bent over your desk? lol Yup, good thing he's got potions handy! I know the first time wasn't perfect, but not for lack of enjoying themselves. Thank you for understanding.
Great chapter - After he kisses her then tells her to go.... I loved the part when she asks when should she return and he says never... the old boy is fighting a losing battle. Cannot wait to see what happens next.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Oh yes, he is. Thank you for the lovely review.
Hilarious that he was really awarding house points! I wonder why Severus never took the time to figure out the magic of the room after Lily? Maybe he didnt want to know?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. I don't think he actually intended them - but oops - what a thing to realize the next morning!Ha, er... I can't respond to the second because I haven't - yet - ah, you'll see!
oh yesssssss that was delicious and worth waiting for! thank you so much and i look forward to more.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
You are very welcome. I'm working on giving you more! Thank you for the reveiw!
