Then twenty years later, Hermione Granger finds the room. I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

Reviews for The Enchanted Tower Room
Oh, nothing like some of those sneaky magical rooms in the castle. I love how it has some sort of power over them.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Well the room has some power over them... all three of them.
Interesting story. I like the back and forth to the past to show the room's history.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much.
Hmmm.... i could make a dozen gueses as to why the spells have lasted so long, but I just KNOW you would never tel me *pouts*I love the artwork at the beginning of the chapter. It shows so well the differences between Hermione's and Lily's reaction to Severus.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I will tell you eventually! It has to do with what happened between the Grey Lady and the Bloody Baron, obviously. *hint* If Lily's love could act as a lasting protection for Harry... of course that only lasted until he came of age (but that could have been Dumbledore's doing?)Thank you very much for the lovey review and the compliment on my drawing. I was going to do one drawing per chapter, but *sigh* I don't really have the time for that now. Yes, the art work is to show the differences between the relationships. I'm flattered you like it.

So many questions that I share with Hermione right now! ;-)
Author's Response: Yes, loads of questions and lose ends... but I'll wrap them up as we go along. (At least before they leave Hogwarts this year)

I can sense the tension building! *grins*
Author's Response: Yes, things are definately building between Hermione and Severus. *winks* Thank you for the reveiw.

Ooh, very curious to see how this all turns out!
Author's Response: I could tell you but why ruin the fun you don't mind if I keep quiet about the ending do you?
Thank you for the reveiw.
Angel Mischa's response: *sigh* I tease readers all the time, so I guess I deserve a taste of my own medicine! LOL

Oh, Lily gets her moment. Sort of! LOL In the story, at least!
Author's Response:
Yep, Lily does. Thank you for the review.

This is one of the best uses of canon (and the ghosts!) that I've read in perhaps forever!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you. I like using canon and twisting it to fit my story, and if I can fit it around what Harry's doing and still keep it true to the book (mostly) the better! Using the ghosts, the Grey Lady and the Bloody Baron was actually one of the inspirations for the story in the first place - thier tragic story. Then I wanted a room everyone would recognize but hasn't been used before, and then show the contrast of the relationships between Lily/Severus and Snape/Hermione. I'm glad you are enjoying this. Thanks again for the kind words. I really appreciate them.

I always like tea references, and this Snape is great fun! I'm actually not too bothered about the lack of Lily because this feels like a fun romp to me!
Author's Response: Just showing one more thing Hermine and Severus have in common. I'm glad you like how I am doing Severus. Thank you for the reveiw.

Great reuse of some canon here! *excited*
Author's Response: Thank you.
nooooooonnoooooonnoooooo!! more please! to the tower i beg of you. don't leave me hanging...*pant pant* lordy you write hotly. thanks so much
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yessssssssss ther is plenty more - I promise! but as far as hanging... I've got the next chapter written it just needs to be cleaned up first.
and so things progress. i wondered if the casters of the spells being ghosts makes a difference to their longivity. nice building of the attraction between them. i wonder what draco is up to and if it has any significance. i wonder when the next chapter will be up for us to read!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yes, and so both realtionships progress... I couldn't possibly tell you why the spells have lasted - but I will, I promise. In regards to Draco - it's the 'let the Death Eater's in the castle' thing from the book. I'm paralleling the book in this - somewhat. I've removed the Harry stuff and centering on Hermione's POV in 1997 and Severus' in 1977. I'll get the next chapter out as soon as I can. It's written, just needs some cleaning up first.
Response from kittylefish (Reviewer)
okay, knowing that you are paralleling the books might help me with future wonderings. and as long as i know you're slaving away at your computer, i'm okay with the waiting. ; )
perhaps the spells persist as the casters are not completely passed on to death, they remain as ghosts?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Good question. You'll see.
It look like they are becoming irresistible to each other. Just a little push . . . .
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
That's why Severus keeps making Hermione take the potions (and he does too) to try and squelch that irrestibility. Don't worry - I'm pushing!
Yayayayay! Thank you ^_^ I love this story so much.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Geeze, thank you. I love hearing that! Oh! You're very welcome, Michiruwater.
I am all sorts of curious how the spells have lasted so long as well. I think its promising for a "happily ever after" ending that H is attracted to S outside of the tower room. As always i look forward to the next chapter.

, Consider and comapre the reactions of the two girls - Hermione and Lily. They are both effected by the spells, both having been under the influence the same length of time at this point. Still, we do know how Lily's and Severus' relationship turns out.
Response from MollysSister (Reviewer)
Yes we do know how Severus and Lily turned out=not together, not friends, not happily ever after. I expect Lily felt used and angry...Future Severus appears to be attempting to keep Hermione away from him physically. Oh the tangled web you weave!!
I love the way you are drawing this story......their pull to each other outside of the tower! Just wonderful!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much.
I love this story. I can't wait to read the next chapter.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. My beta should be getting the next chapter really soon.
Really enjoying this. And man, did young Snape have some serious control!! - actually starting the deed with LIly and then stopping... As for him and Hermione, I wonder if this means that she is his true soulmate or if he has more than one soulmate - Lily and Hermione - or if it's just coincidence that she found this room. Great read. Full of mystery.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Ok, drew from RL on this one a bit... and yes the guy was so confused that he did pull away. Besides, Severus is an honorable guy and does really care about Lily.In regards to which girl is Severus's soul mate - reread the what the Grey Lady said: "I suppose there are charms that make you susceptible, surrendering, yielding, pliable to the man you are with – if you are intended for each other – if you like each other.... You cannot get onto the stairs unless you are with someone with whom you are meant to be together or unless you are soul mates or are destined for each other."Hermione will explain how she got through the barrier, later, but the key is there. I'm glad you are enjoying the story. Thanks for the reveiw.
Chemistry, definitely.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
*nods* Yep! Just a bit!
Interesting chapter! I eagerly await more!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. I hope to be able to post it soon for you.
I definitely think that there's more between them than a few age-old spells, and I like how Hermione is slowly realising that. I hope Severus isn't far behind her! I don't think either of them have figured it out totally, but I hope it doesn't take them too long. . . it's funny how Hermione just thinks it's an oddly long-wearing spell, when it's obviously. . . something more. . . -hint hint-Thank you for the chapter, even if it was a tad short!~Katie
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
"You cannot get onto the stairs unless you are with someone with whom you are meant to be together or unless you are soul mates or are destined for each other..." Hermione already respects Severus, admires him and has wanted to impress him since day one, I think if she cuold she'd admit that she'd like to befriend him... Still, they are under the spells on the tower influencing them. Fact is, the spells are unusually long-wearing... but do they usually work outside the tower walls? (hint: Lily's reactions!)I'm sorry the chapter was too short. The next will be ready soon...
Hopefully they solve the puzzle of the spells to the Tower Room so that they can continue their relationship without something standing in their way (other than their student-teacher relationship). Perhaps Hermione should try to talk to the Grey Lady again soon if the ghost knows that Hermione is trying to combat the curse. Probably finding out the spells from the Bloody Baron would be the best, but I'm not sure how much he'd be willing to reveal.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Oh, my gosh! Did you sneak a peek at my outline! grrrr. Fine then! Teehehe You got some stuff right on the nose! Shhhhhh!

Brief but perfect. Moving things along nicely. The tension between the two is simmering but it feels like it could explode any time! (waiting desperately for the explosion, hint hint).
And things seem all right between Severus and Lily. How can that be? I want it to be good for them, but of course it can't last...
Oh, mystery author. What a spell you're weaving. Lovely.
Author's Response: Explosion will come - and a some problems and external forces will throw in the towel...
Both relationships are in for some challenges, and each girl will be faced with decisions. Severus's relationship with Lily is fine - now... and his affair with Hermione is causing him some discomfort. Why else would Severus feel that they would need the Mind-Clarity Potion, the four drops of the Calming Ascetic and a few of the Pacifying Draught? Have you noticed that he upped the amount of Calming Ascetic? Poor guy, he trying so had to resist... Teehehehe
Thank you for the reveiw. I'm glad you're enjoy the tale!
There has to be more to their feelings than the spells from the past. Oh thank you for updating this story. I try to read everybodies, but this one I truly look forward to seeing an update on. Hopefully until next chapter.Tamara aka

Tamarah, Wow, thank you. This kind of support really makes me want to keep going with this story all the way to the end. I have the next six chapters written so far and I will have the next one ready for my beta really soon - like by tomorrow! I'm so thankful for the kind words of encouragement... Now back to typing!
