Sav X, You don't really have to worry about the potions. I don't really believe Severus would do anything to dull his wits! Although, have you noticed that he's adding to the potions he has them take - (the Mind-Clarity Potion, the four drops of the Calming Ascetic and a few of the Pacifying Draught), Poor guy is upping the amount of the Calming ascetic! TeeheheheDon't worry, they will be banging together - I mean will have thier heads brought together... Oops, I mean, well, you know!

I do so adore this story... and I know I complain about the tension you are building for Sev and 'mione but I have complete faith in you oh Hidden before voting that there will indeed be a beautiful end for my fav pairing.

Sav X, Between you and me - I like happy endings, Severus lives and Hermione isn't with Ron stories. I also like Fred and Geroge romps and mischief, Draco and ?, and even enjoy a tawdy affair with SS/HG/LM... But this isn't going there - sorry. Don't know how to write a threesome... I am one for cliffies, tension and a few twists and loads of facts and side bits that I thiink add color and flavor to the story... So happy dance away - Snape gets the girl, and gets the girl, again, and again, and again...

Ah, er, I see potions very much like medication - if you take it because you need it, it will work like it's supposed to. Besides, I don't think Snape would take the potion so frequently as to befuddle his mind, so there isn't really a worry there. To answer you she is seventeen in this story. Just as Lily and Severus are seventeen on the parts that happen in 1977. I checked birthdays, and rechecked my math carefully, so if there is a goof I really meant them to all be seventeen when the spell of the tower affect them. Yes, Hermione and Severus, as well as Lily are all under the effects of the curse (actually spells, enchantments and curses – plural.) However, the fact that Hermione is still feeling the effects of the spells outside the tower is really telling, since if you read Lily’s actions carefully the two don’t actually act/react the same when around Severus Snape in other areas around the castle… hint hint.
No – nothing sinister is going on, I promise. Thank you for the review, I appreciate it and hope I’ve waylaid some of your concerns.

Well Severus Snape is a potions master, and he doesn’t really want to molest a student… (Can you molest the willing? Gonna have to look that one up?) So, using potions to control lasciviousness and his mind clarity just fits the man! Trust me there is nothing wrong with his mind clarity, he’s simply trying desperately to fight his own inner feelings toward Hermione, and is losing the battle! Heheheh

And yes, he will kill Dumbledore and lock Hermione and Luna up in his office to try and keep them from the fight and to answer the other question… ask the Bloody Baron.
