I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

Reviews for The Enchanted Tower Room
Heh. That happened rather suddenly! Although considering the way Severus had trouble restraining himself even earlier, it rather made sense. The house points made me snicker. Hope that Snape isn't going to try and take them back now! At least not from Hermione.

There was quite a bit of build up going on: Hermione bent over his desk in a sexual postition, leaning forward to pick up the book so he could inadvertedly look down her top, the Legilimency scenes he saw in her mind and confirming her desire for him, to name a few and don't forget, she was trying to give him head, and caress him but not really doing it in a way that he could get off. Close but just not there. I think that's enough to push any guy of the deep end. Oh yeah, the room requires you to go forward with your relationship each time, the spells push your relationship forward... he was helpless to fight it! As for the house points - I hope everyone - especially Potter and Neville, stay out of his path for a day or six!
I LOVE THIS STORY, but why oh why did it take so long to update? i really can't wait to see what happens next and when snape figures out that it is different than with lily. wonderful. please update soon.

Thank you so very much. I just had to get the chapter done and beta'ed that's all! I'm working on the next one - I promise!! It's right here, typos and comma errors and all! I'll clean it up all shiny and post asap! ok?
Nice storyline. While JKR's characterisation of Lily and Severus's relationship was 'adequate' in relation to Snape's childhood obsession with her. It was cute and innocent, but it denied Snape's sexuality as an adult man. If I recalll correctly she modelled Snape after a horrid school teacher, so it is probably a reflection of her personal feelings about the teacher that she make him almost asexual (then again like all staff). I feel that by making his relationship with Lily a sexual one (with a layer of magical binding) it amplified the devastation he would have felt at her rejecting him for James Potter, and so his fired his furious hatred of Harry. Then to parallel it with a relationship with Hermione was interesting. It shows him as a more complex man ie. as a man above all else (sexual), sensual rather than ascetic, romantic and humanly flawed as his weakness for Hermione makes him act in a manner which he regards as against his morals and what is right. Having sex with Hermione to validate that she is 'wanted' could also be a reflected that he wanted affirmation for himself, after Lily's rejection. In addition I think that Alan Rickman's portrayal of Severus adds a tortured complexity and sensual dimension that does not come across in the books. I had better stop there - rather long and rambly really. I eagerly await the continuing chapters. :-)Cheers

Reets,
Wow I don’t know what to say other than this is wonderfully written. I have to agree with you on this. Severus is a complex character with desires, flaws and depth – all of which AR brings out in him. It’s what makes him so unique and all. Yes, I used the room’s spells to not only draw Lily and Severus together, but as you will see ( and is hinted at) is part of the reason he was so devastated and carried the mourning of unrequited love all those years. Just as the room had its effect on the Grey Lady and Bloody Baron so will it have its effects on Severus’s relationship with Hermione. (I will be alluding to two other couples later on.) I don’t want to say how… but it’s already been suggested. Thank you for this review, I’m overwhelmed by the sentiments here.
Oh my so Severus is having to take more potions to stay calm in Hermione's presence even outside the tower... Mmm the plot thickens.
I love young!Severus and Lily much more than canon, Canon ily for me is quiet a little cow as she drops Severus as soon as idiot!Potter comes sniffing.
As for Severus and Hermione, I can understand his predicament given what time period you have placed the story in and he doesn't want to drag Hermione into his dark little world, but come on Severus the two of you are made for each other.
Again a really well written and thought out chapter... Looking forward to the next one. Savine x
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Yes, Severus is finding things a bit difficult to keep a grip on. Course walking in and finding Hermione bent over his desk (in a sexual position and although it's not stated directly possibly in jeans or a skirt) when he's trying so hard to maintain proper behavior - yes, he's turning to potions. Poor guy. No he doesn't want to drag her into his world - any of it and there is the teacher/student thing he's fighting too.!
The smell of Badedas came back to me when I read that! It still seems to be available - maybe I'll buy some in homage...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Envious. I've never tried any. Thank you for the review.
Response from Persevero (Reviewer)
I just came home via the pharmacy and bought some!
There is obviously something much deeper between Severus and Hermione than he is willing to admit to.I am glad he used Legilimency to see what was wrong with her. Much better than running away and inadvertantly causing her further pain.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
'You cannot get onto the stairs unless you are with someone with whom you are meant to be together or unless you are soul mates and are destined for each other,' so yes there is something much deeper being brought out between them and no - he's trying to fight it. and once he 'saw' for himself what Hermione feels for him, it made it all that much harder to resist.Thank you for the reveiw.
My guess is that Severus was more upset that Hermione was bent over his desk enticingly when he returned to his office than the fact that she had the books open all over his desk. I am surprised at the physical of his relationship with Lily. It seemed to me she was more interested in hiding the relationship.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Well, first of all he's still trying to resist and fight against his own urges, keep some semblance of propriety, and walks in to see her bent over his desk (in what to guys is a sexual position) and although not stated, possibly in jeans or a skirt!AS for Lily - she's only really physical with him in the tower room, well, mostly. Neither really wants their house mates to know how initmate they are and are keeping things quiet. Actually, that's quite gallant of Sev, the fact that he doesn't brag about it. Thank you for the review.
I am enjoying the way you prolong the mysteries surrounding the room. Tantalizing!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. It's part of what they have to work through - a bridge, yet again teh more they learn the more it will reflect what's going on with/between them as well.
Very good chapter, doll. I'm enjoying the interactions
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Awe geeze. Thank you.
Wow - I didn't expect that - for Sev and Hermione to 'go all the way'. I mean, I knew they would eventually but it was still a surprising turn of events at that moment. I thought sure he'd leave. I liked the 'is he going to enter or isn't he' moment between them. And I like how you added the canon reference point in the story to show that this was happening at the same time Ron was with Lavender.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Wow. I suppose I really did play that out well. He would have left if he hadn't used Legilimency to see what she was crying about I think he would have. I think it shocked him into acting. There will be other canon references thrown in... and we know what happens during the end of the year! (pst - that's not the end of the story though)
WOW! Great chapter! I love how Snape is trying (and failing miserably) to keep from touching Hermione. I guess that ship has sailed! Great job on the story. I really like it!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Yes, Sev is even resorting to potions, poor guy. However, don't worry too much about the ship...
Wow. As usual this chapter was amazing! I feel terrible for Hermione though...Kind of having a relationship but not really. I hope things get better for her. I loved the house points at the end. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Don't feel too bad. The guy she wants, the one she 'craves' just admited to desiring her as well.
Oh boy... Severus is not going to be happy when he realizes he really gave her points for that. Hopefully there isn't a register that appears for anyone to see why the points were given.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yes, well, er possibly. I do think I recall that there is a way to know... Didn't McGonagall confront him once about points he took off for something? Or maybe she heard from another student. Either way, yep, I bet he's really keeping his head down over this one.
I didn't expect Severus to have sex with her so easily. I figured it would take more prodding on her part for him to give in. Hopefully their next time will be better. He should have lots of experience by now.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Well, some guys get really truned on from oral stimulation, especially if they'd not had it before or for a really long time... and if he was close and just, well, couldn't quite get there anyother way... he might? Anyway, that's what I was thinking when I wrote it. Hermione was literally driving him nuts and pushed him over the edge of reason. It' hasn't been a problem of experience up until this - it's his own code of honor and right vs wrong. Thank you for the review. I enjoyed the comments.

Well, mystery author, you've done it again and made my day! Just this morning I thought, Now when is there going to be an update to the Enchanted Tower Room?
As usual, I have no criticisms. I think what I really like is the way you've portrayed Sev and Lily's sexual relationship. Ok, so it's been a long time since I've been a teenager, yet, when I read their interactions, it feels like I'm 17 again! It has that ring of authenticity to it, their words, feelings, motions, the first sexual encounters, all of it. It's really, really well done.
So... what did Snape put in his tea? Gonna tell us? The milky white elixir in the red vial? Come on! Obviously, more of a sedative, right?
And last, I am really feeling badly for Hermione. So you can only have your boyfriend in a certain room now and again, and can't even act like you have any kind of relationship at all in public while all around you people are engaging in teenaged snogging sessions? That sucks, and I would have been bawling my eyes out, too.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm so flattered to have made your day! wow!
I'm so glad you think back to your teens reading the Severus/Lily parts - it means I'm still getting them right! Thanks.
Sev and his tea - well lets give you a hint. So far he's taking Calming Ascetic and Mind-Clarity (was in the tea cup) and yet seeing Hermione bent over his desk he searches for another potion... hmmm? Most likely another way to supress his urges, perhaps?
Don't feel too bad for Hermione. Gads, she's pinning for her professor! True it's Severus - and he did just admit that he desires her - but she knows that there won't be hand-holding in the corridors with Severus! She's smart. and she'd like the intrigue of secret .... oops.
I love that bit of Legilimency and his assurance that she is most certainly kissable and desirable. LOL @ the points!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yes, seeing those snippets of her secret pinning for him, then her actions really undid him this time, didn't it? And his assurance that he finds her desirable and kissable will most deffinately boost her ego. I don't think Severus really believed that the point system would have actually given the points - but talk about a slip of the tongue! Thank you for the reveiw.
LOL I remember Badedas, came in a green bottle, was all the rage!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I owe a big thanks to my Brit-checking-beta for the info on Badedas! And apparently you can still get it oline if you wanted!
There is something wrong with getting points for having sex with a professor. But that was rather interesting for the pull to the room for both of them.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Blue artemis, Yes, I do have to agree with you on this. However, I don't think Severus thought that the points would actually be awarded, and the way he worded it was careful enough - or so he thought.. He was being hypothetical, but the castle heard him anyway. I didn't type his reaction only Hermione's and she was embarrased. Imagine his reaction? So as an unintential awarding only - do you forgive me?
Response from blue artemis (Reviewer)
Yes, I forgive you, of course. Maybe because in my mind there is some sort of tally as to who gives/takes the points and why somewhere in the castle that would create all sorts of problems.
Very well written and interesting story! The evolution of Snape from 77 to 97 is great. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. I'm having fun comparing Sev at 17 to him as an adult. I'm glad you like this.
They are a step closer, but how many steps backwards will they end up taking before they take more steps forward?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Depends. Sorry but I can't really answer this - yet. Thank you for the reveiw.
Response from phoenix (Reviewer)
Hehehe. I didn't really expect an answer to that. It's one of those things that gets my mind anticipating the next chapter. :D
Poor, poor Hermione and Snape suffering from those curses. Hopefully they will find some sort of solution as I don't think Dumbledore would appreciate having a student and professor hook up.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
So far they have been keeping things under wraps - sort of. Besides, Dumbledore has other problems going on this year...
The plot gets deeper. The question is, will she be able to stay away? Why do I think the answer may be no.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Possibly, and maybe not! Thank you for the reveiw.
Oooh, what does he have to tell her? Is it more about the room that she did not learn from the Grey Lady? And I wonder what has been drawing him to the room all that time - or did it only happen after Hermione found it?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Remember, to every story there are two sides, and Hermione only heard what the Grey Lady wanted to tell her... She will find out more about the room.
I love how you are tying this in to the Bloody Baron/Grey Lady information we learned. That really sets the stage. Will Hermione be able to listen to the advice that she has been given? I fear not and will read on and see.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Yes thiers is another love story I've woven into this plot. There are two more I'll 'expose'. As for Hermione listening to the advise - yes, following it - ?
Oh, Hermione, you just haven't learned, have you? Why do I think that she will be returning to the tower room? Other than the chapter titles that is. LOL
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Beguile, allure and enchanted... Thank you for the reveiw.
