Then twenty years later, Hermione Granger finds the room. I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

Reviews for The Enchanted Tower Room
Nice juxtaposition of Snape/Lily and Snape/Hermione. And nice commentary on the dragon affair. However, I don't think there was another Horcrux. Voldemort didn't want seven horcruxes, he wanted his soul in seven pieces- six horcruxes plus his soul in his body.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you for the compliment. I think I've done enough ridding (horses) to know that dragon scales wouldn't necessarily be comfortable. LOLIn regards to the Horcruxes, (you can see my other nasweres too for my rationale, if you'd like) I have deviated a bit from canon, mostly to show that I'm now pulling away and about to make a big swooosh to the left. Hope you don't mind, but I neve liked the end of DH. And don't expect me to acknoweledge those last few pages of misprint at the end of the book either - what some call an epilogue. denial *covers ears* denial! *covers eyes* never saw them! Thank you very much for the review. Hugs~
Response from HermioneJeanSnape (Reviewer)
See, you can read the epilogue interestingly. They imply Harry, Ron, and Hermione still get along. Harry and Ginny being married is concret. However, it is not explicitly stated that Hermione and Ron are currently married. They might have been married, produced Rose and Hugo, then gotten divorced. Nor is it explicitly stated that Snape is dead in the shrieking shack chapter. His eyes darken, but it could be him passing out, not dying. I love loopholes.

, I could hug you! Except the Hermione married Ron - I just cannot buy that.
Aberforth. Good idea!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Well, we do know he was in town this evening, didn't we? Thank you for the review.
I like the it about his Patronus changing back and having to try so hard to conjure the doe.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
LOL well, I could't leave it as a doe, now could I? Thank you for the review.
Poor guy is defeated at every turn. Hopefully you will make him happy in the end ! :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Well, this part of the story had to happen to make the next chapter work. Don't worry. Hugs~
I really like the way canon is weaved in here. I was a bit worried with Severus for a second - worried about a 'canon compliant' end to the man. Glad I was wrong on that. As for the Horcrux's, I noticed you followed some canon and made some fanon with these. I take it that the shealth will be replacing Harry as a Horcrux, unless you are choosing to go with 8 instead of 7 (ring, cup, locket, diadem, diary, Nagini, Harry - per canon), but the characters mentioned 'seven' several times so I'm assuming the 'Harry-crux' will be changed in this story. That suits me fine honestly. I never bought the 'dies and rises again' thing. LOL But if you choose to go with eight - leaving Harry in the mix unbenounced to Voldy, then I will still follow along because you've written a great tale. :)

, Thank you. Yep, I started deviating from canon in this chapter and setting you up for a really big swing off canon. Hope that's okay. I used canon throughout the story as a plot-timeline to help move the reader along. I did several deviations regarding the Horcruxes. Ron killing the cup for one. Here is how I see it (in this story) The diary, and the ring - made while Tom was in school. The cup and locket - made while working/quit work as a shop assistant.Hunted down the diadem - and found the sheath at some point. All we have in canon is Tom asking "isn't seven the most powerfully magical number, wouldn't seven -?" He doesn't finish the sentance. Slughorn says, "Seven!... but to rip the soul into seven pieces..." I think Tom thought seven Horcruxes, not seven pieces of soul - seven objects of power anchoring him to life. The last one would have been something taken with Voldemort when he was going to kill Harry. The last piece could have been retrieved when Voldemort possessed another - the missing hours. He hid it. Don't know how many people Voldemot possessed, do we? Under the trance, Ginny gets it and hides it in the chamber. Harry is an unknown bit of soul, accidentally made. It's implied and not said directly, but Voldemort doesn't figure out the 'connection' until book 5. Hermione knows there is another one. She and Ron search and find the sheath. Okay a stretch but that's what I did. Nagini was made after the second return, after finding out the diary was destroyed. Voldemort believes had to have seven.Sorry for the rant, but that was what I was doing. It also pulls the reader away from canon to set up the fact that I'm not really following the DH as closely anymore.Hope that helps.Thank you for the review. I appreciate it very much.
Better than JKR's version. I hate that she killed off Snape without dignity.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. This is how I see she should have written DH. Yes, this story deviates from her version in a few ways, and Ron killling the cup and with what I have for Severus. I'm glad you like my version. Thank you for the review.
I like this version of the events in the Shrieking Shack better than the DH one. ;-) At least in this one, he has a chance!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. This is my version of how DH should have been. Yes, I changed a few things, and deviated a bit from canon. Also don't expect me to acknowledge those last few pages of misprint at the end of the book either - the ones everyone calls the epilogue.Thank you fro the review. Hugs~
Love this fic!!! Love how you are giving Severus a chance...always thought he got the shaft in the origional story...should've been treated better than that!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I couldn't agree more. This is how I se it should have been done, forgive the deviation from canon on a few canon facts, but get ready for a big swing . and the last few pages of misprint at the end of the book - denial. denial. *covers ears* not there. *covers eyes*Thank you for the review. Hope you like the rest. Hugs~
Love this fic!!!Dumbledore's secrecy was annoying in the extreme, and that's putting it nicely.I hope Severus was still conscious when Hermione was speaking to him.Looking forward to the next.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much.I used to see Dumbledore as a surrogate grandfather fro Harry, and was appalled when I read the way he manipulated everyone around him. I understood it - but hated it.In regards to Severus hearing Hermione, he was fading, casting the spell to release his memories, and was dying... maybe he did, maybe not? But then I believe patients in comas can hear those around them.I hope to have the next one up soon. Hugs~bea
Aren't you J.K. Rowling? This chapter was amazing! Thanks for updating!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Nope, no resemblance at all. Just typing how I think the story should have gone. Thank you for the review.
As always another great chapter.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much.
I didn’t care much for Deathly Hollows, but what I liked about it that it left so much wiggle room of what might have happened. I do find your back stories interesting. This was also a sad chapter. We get a lot of how Severus and Hermione feel, but I can’t help but wonder what Lily is going through. I’m not asking for an explanation, I’ll just let my imagination do the work. Thanks for the update.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Yes, this is a 'around the sidelines' backstory story. I'm sorry that this chapter was so sad, things won't turn around until after... the war... ish. I liked your suggestion about showing Lily's POV but this story is strickly SS (at 17 and at 37) But maybe I'll ltype one sometime with Lily's POV. Who knows. Hugs~ hope your having a great holiday season!
Response from tedebear (Reviewer)
Oh, I didn’t mean it as a suggestion. I think you are doing a great job without any of my suggestions. I guess what I was trying to say that this story just gets me thinking. I do think that one of the greatest tools of a writer is tapping into the reader’s imagination, which you do. Dang I sound like I’m talking in circles here.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Not at all! But you did give me a seed that can grow into a plot bunny! Oh and thank you, I appreciate the support and sweet compliment.
Another great chapter. I like the parallel of Severus working on ward spells and Hermione working on how to destroy the horcruxes spells. The scene where Severus talks to the Dark Lord after he kills Dumbledore was great. I often wondered what could have happened, but I was never able to fill in the blanks there myself. As always I enjoy the art work. When I saw the picture I wondered if the old man was Severus on poloyjuice. I guessed right, but I was wondering how he could have gotten into Hogwarts. I forgot about the funeral: another great idea that you brought up. I had never thought of Severus going to Dumbledore’s funeral, but now I believe he was there. I don’t think he would have missed. I guess I look at Severus as someone who craves a father’s approval. He didn’t get it from his own father or Voldermort and I believe the best he got was from Dumbledore. Okay I’ve said enough, but that is one reason I enjoy this story so much.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. This story has quiet a few parallels going on, and twisting together. I'm glad my version of Severus' meeting with the Dark Lord works, I actaully enjoy typing the Dark Lord and making him and his actions unexpected. Yes, I didn't really think that Severus would have missed the funeral of Dumbledore considering how long he tried to live up to the old farts expitations and earn his respect. I see Severus as someone who does crave approval and respect, although he's a tough person to befriend at times. I hope you like where I take the story from here. I really appreciate your review. Thank you.
poor hermione and severus! such misunderstanding on his part and longing on hers. wonderful update. thanks so much
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yes, It's sad. Thank you for the review. I'm off to do something about the misunderstanding...
Excellent chapter, as always. I am glad to see present day Severus has analyzed his experiences between his two loves and their responses to him and he can clearly see that Hermione is the one who truly has passion for him. He admits that she told him she loves him, but I suppose he feels all is lost due to his circumstances.Hermione has been analytical as well. I believe she is open to hearing the facts before making a determination on Severus's loyalties. She is suffering much more so than Severus is. I assume she is still affected by the Enchanted Tower Room since she loves Severus but did not respond within the appropriate time allowed.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Yes, both are trying to rationalize things out and both think in like fashion while solving problems or questions. In regards to the affects of the tower - yes, she is in a way - but there is a difference.Thank you very much for the review.
I do like the parallels in the storytelling... also because they show that Severus has actually changed. I've probably said it before but I really don't like him much as a teenager, but think your depiction is very much in character - teenage!Severus feels very real.Poor Hermione in the present day. :-/ I do hope she'll get a chance to see Severus again before the day of the battle!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. YEs, he has changed, but with everything he's done in his life, it's expected. I'm glad I'm able to keep the young Severs and the mature Snape in character - that's what I'm trying to do. Thank you. As for the chance of them seeing each other - I can't say yet. You'll see.Thank you very much for the review.
Was so excited to see the update! Loved it! So sad that he still thinks that the love was only one-way while she is mourning the fact that she can't be with him. Am glad that his patronus is no longer the doe, even if it caused him difficulties on that particular night. It's a good thing to, I guess, that he was able to force it into the 'Lily patronus' for the needed time, but hopefully he won't have to use that one again. Hopefully Severus will at least attempt to explain himself to Hermione when the opportunity presents itself rather than just assuming that she won't be willing to listen... Trully an excellent story! Looking forward to the next.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. I'm really flattered.Yes, his selfdoubt and such - he still doesn't realize that things are different this time around. And Hermione is now the one feeling the affects of the enchantments curse. Yes, his Patronus changed - how could it not - but he had to force it to revert back so his plan would work. Time will tell how I sort things out when they are face to face again. I'm deeply flattered that you liek this os much, thank you. I have 18 ready to be sent to my beta. So, yes, soon. Thank you very much for the review.

This is fabulous. Will they see each other before the final battle?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Now you know I can't answer that - yet!Thank you for the review.
Merry Christmas! Thanks for the gift. The chapter was awesome. Update ASAP.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. You are most welcome. Chap 18 is ready and will be sent to my beta soon. Happy New Years!
Just once more...such an easy thing to wish for, but such a difficult thing to realize. Nicely done. The two of them longing for one another is terrible, but in a good way. Phineas is one of my favorite characters! Brilliant!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yes, the wishing for just one more chance, but it's not to be.and now Severus is faced with the same longing, but in a different way. It's Hermione who is now the one under the enchantments. I like Phineas as well, plus he was their go between of sorts.Thank you for the review.
Wonderful chapter...totally worth the wait. I feel so bad for Hermione and Severus right now...hopefully things will work out for them eventually. Can't wait to read more...update again soon! ~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Eventually, things will get better. At least he knows... 18 is done and will be sent to my beta shortly. Thank you for the review.
Just caught up with the last two chapters - things are definitely moving forward, in both timelines. I do wonder what Hermione will do with the knowledge about the Half-Blood Prince - and I'm very curious how their relationship will continue, considering what lies ahead. At least they've both admitted to their feelings, now.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Yes, on is deffinately down and really over, the other is moving along nicely. But yes, I'm afraid I have a chapter soon that will have a 'character death' warning and another down the line. Don't worry, we already know who dies for there to be a warning. NO, I'm not killing Severus off. as if! Thank you for the review.

Very good chapter, sad about the whole Severus "dead man walking" attitude, but that's his way. I hope htey can have a future now that they have confessed their love is real. Thanks!Livvy

Would the British use pounds for their children, or kg/stones?I love this story ridiculous amounts.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I asked my brit-picker and she said that they use pounds. I also spoke to a registry RN at my hospital (my work) and she said that it's recorded both ways. Since I'm more comfortable with pounds - I did it this way.I'm so flattered that you like my story. Thank you.

Thanks, I was curious :) That's something I've skipped over in my works cause I was never certain, haha.
