Teenage Severus Snape and Lily find a room in the castle with a partially hidden staircase that leads them up to a private room at the top of a tower that even the Marauders don't know about.
Then twenty years later, Hermione Granger finds the room. Suddenly she’s confronted by Severus Snape, who’s always considered tower room to be his own private little nook, finds herself not only under the rooms spell, but must now meet the conditions of the room with the one professor that has always been her biggest enigma.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

Actually, chapter written - just working on the art! Should have picture done in a day or two and then I'll post. Besides, I'm only allowed two in queue at a time, and I'm trying to finish two stories and move them into my 'completed' folder!

Good chapter and so the final battle begins. Severus on the floor - does he make it in your version - I cannot wait to see.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Yes, the good ole Shack scene - I had to use it. But things will diverge from the book a bit more in the next chapter. Thank you for the review.
Good chapter. So much pain and distance. I always wondered how Lily could have gone from her friendship with Severus to Marrying Potter but this is such a plausible explination. It sounds great.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thnak you very much. Yes, Lily gave up Severus and chose Potter. This is how I saw ti happening. Thank you for the review.
Great chapter - I love the tie-ins to HBP. The descriptions of his jealously makes the story really play - so much like he would be. I can see him doing and thinking those things as well.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Ilm glad that you like how I depicted him. Thank you for the review.
I love the skipping between time. It is well written and just flows. I like all the historical facts and the progession of all the characters relationships - it makes it seem true to what would happen..
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. I'm so glad you are enjoying this. Thank you for the lovely review.
Very interesting and creative - the curse at the tower being bound with the blood of three and making it last as long as the castle - great work. I wonder why Severus ran... I hope that something between them can be worked out.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Severus ran because Hermione's immediate reaction, her expression and her stammering was the same as Lily's except for Hermine it was shock to realize that he returned her feelings, while Lily was shocked and then became angry and rejected him. Severus wasn't going to stick around to be rejected again... He's seen that the room affects hermione the same way it did Lily - only he isn't seeing the difference. I hope that helps.Thank you for the review.
Good end to the chapter - leaving the reader wondering did they both make it? Cannot wait for the next chapter.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thanks, It's in the works. Thank you for your kind review. I really appreciate it.
I am finally getting a chance to catch up on my reading and this is one of my favorite stories. Wow what a steamy chapter to start with.... I loved all the conjecture and history - nice add in.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. There are parallels throughout the story, then it diverges as Severus' life takes different paths. I also pull quite a few minor charcters into this throughout. I hope you enjoy the rest.Thank you for the review.
I liked all the kids surrounding Severus in support. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. It proved his point rather effectively.Thank you for the review.
This is an interesting twist for me - I really assumed that the 'battle' at Godric's Hollow and the Final Battle would be done together. It makes me wonder what else you have in store for young Severus since he hasn't even taken the Dark Mark yet. Curious... very curious. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Sorry, no, I chose to show 'same guy, making/thrust into different decisons' regarding his decisions about following the Dark Lord/Voldemort. At 17, he's spiraling into a fall and at 37, he's turning away, taking a stand, and showing his true self. More to come on that theme as well...Thank you for the review. I hope you like what I do to him in the next chapter.
i like your version better! this story rocks! thanks so much
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much, on both compliments. Thank you for the supportive review.
Evil cliffie indeed! But I trust he's going to be all right... after everything, he rather deserves to live.Your version of how young Severus ended up joining the DEs feels very likely - once he was in that group, any misgivings he might well have had wouldn't have mattered much. I can't imagine anyone picked for the 'honour' of bearing the Dark Mark refusing and then happily going on about their life as usual.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I'm sorry - but you have to know that he's going to show up agian - I'm in the middle (near the end actually) but not done with the story! I can't kill him off NOW! oops.Yes, he was being suckered in the moment he started befriending his housemates. Nope, I doubt that anyone who attened a few parties ever turned down the Dark Mark and lived happily ever after either. So yes, his enrollment is a given in that circle. It's also why he's been getting so much attention and 'business' contact and customers... It's sad, but Lily was right.Thank you for the review.
Great job!! I can't wait to see what happens next!! Keep up the amazing writing! ~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you, Jenn. I am working on cleaning up the next chapter and then I'll doodle the picture while it's being beta'ed. Hope to post soon. Hugs~ Oh, and thank yo for the continued support! I appreciate it very much.
Love it! Evil Cliffie. BOOOOOBut Molly should get her shot at Bellatrix. That was my favorite part of DH. Well and Voldemort falling.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you! Can't be an evil cliffie! I didn't put FIN at the end of the chapter!Who is to say that Molly DIDn't get Bellatrix? huh? Severus passed out before that happened!Thank you for the review!
Response from kimbee73 (Reviewer)
I guess that is true.....so....keep up the good work!
Nuch preferr your version of the final battle.Wondeful exciting chapter. Many thanks. PS I can't wait for next chapter
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much! I'm working onthe next chapter...Here's a little bit to tide you over...~*{}*~Hermione turned and as soon as she saw him, she rushed over. Luna must have seen he was hurt, too, for she rushed over as well. Hermione stopped in front of him, still trying to comprehend what she was seeing - he was alive. Really alive. She'd been wrong. He was staggering, barely able to stand. She moved closer and wrapped her arm around him so her shoulder tucked under his to support him and felt another arm. They both turned and saw Luna smiling up at Severus. Luna knew, somehow she knew Severus had been on their side all along. Seamus and Ginny ran over and turned to face Voldemort and his followers, standing ready to fight and protect Severus, Luna, and Hermione. Ginny turned once, smiled at them and gave Herminoe a nod, as Draco seperated himslef from those who'd came out from the castle to stand with Seamus and Ginny, directly in front of Luna and Severus. "See, you didn't kill him..." Harry was saying. Hermione's smile turned to a look of amazement as Mrs. Malfoy slipped away from the Death Eaters and came to stand near her son. Hermione had no idea why, except to protect Draco once the fighting started, but Hermione knew that it would send a different message to the wizarding world and to Voldemort in particular. Mrs. Malfoy had switched sides.Draco turned to nod at his mum and stood taller, ready to fight. Seamus and Ginny assumed a fighting stance as Harry and Voldemort shuted at each other across the batlefield.Herminoe braced herself for what was to come...

I hpoe I can read it.
That was bloody brilliant! ;)I like your version of the Final Battle much much better, and I particularly liked the support the students (and the Malfoys!) lent to Severus as they surrounded him. Very nicely done!I am curious to know how the flashback sequence gets resolved. Poor Severus ...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much.Yes, I think he deserved a better shake than he'd gotten, and it seemed so like him to stagger forward and make his true position known. I also thought that there would have been more students slipping back in to fight, considering how much they complained in the Great Hall. (DH) Having Draco switch and Narcissa seem to would have irked Voldemort big time!Young Severus will have a tough summer.Thank you for the review.
I enjoyed the way you rewrote the final battle. I liked the idea of Snape seeing the centaurs and the defenders from Hogsmeade. The appearance of the 6th and 7th year Slytherins was a nice touch.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. I just thought he'd show himslef, regardless. I mean he thinks he's dying anyway - prove to everyone which side he's really on, right?I thought it was cheezy that no Slytherins stayed to fight? (DH) Come on! Some would have a backbone... So I put them in!Thank you for the review.
I liked the way the students rushed to Snape's side to support him; the Malfoy's, too. I like your version of events.

Twice as long is good, didn't you know? LOL Of course, you should place your chapter breaks as you see fit. I don't find the end of DH dreadful, but I really did enjoy your version. =] Your cruelty with the cliffies is remarkable. Fortunately, you're an excellent story teller, so we should over look your sadistic tendencies. (Of course, I'm taking the mickey!) *bows* Wonderful!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
LOL You know I'll tell my beta that! I'm glad you like my version of the battle... I just couldn't kick him off so irrelevantly.Oh, I'm sorry about the cliffie! But really I had to cut it! I had to! It's not sadistic... it's my, er, well I jsut don't think my beta like 9000 word chapters! But that means I have more coming! I do... after I lean it up some.Thank you for the sweet review. Hugs~
Oooh, good rewriting. Wish you'd let Molly get Bellatrix though :)Oh, and a good reference to an obscure Slytherin name, Warrington! Very nice.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
OOps... well, the thing is it was from Severus' POV and he passed out before he saw that happen - yeah, that's right, he missed seeing Molly and Neville blast the witch away!!Thank you on the compliments. Yeap, I have a lot of obscure canon people popping up throughout this story! I liked the idea of showing Mr. Warrington in here. Glad you liked it!Thank you for the review.
Your Scottish ghost is amazing! LOL Brilliant.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Just another denizen of the castle, my dear! Thank you for the review.
Wow! I'm so happy you updated!! I can't wait to see the next part!! The fighting's almost over; maybe they'll be able to live in peace now. Update again soon!! Oh, and wonderfully, fantastic job on the chapter!! ~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you Jenn! Well, there is more to go before I can promise anything, but I think you'll like the next chapter coming up. Hugs, doll.
what a delicious treat! an update of wondrousness. poor severus and curse albus to hell. i look forward to how this will end...hopefully in a happy manner? thanks so much
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. Yes, Albus wasn't the kindly grandfather we all thought him to be in book 1-3, was he? Things are getting ready to get interesting - and I'll be making some big swaying away form canon. Hope that's all right?Thank you for the review.
