I'm glad that she chose to go to Remus, that he was available and trusted her.  I'm also glad she gave him as much info as she did an was honest with everything she said rather than resorting to half-truths.

This part got me thinking: “So, Hermione? What’s up with Fred and George’s freckles, anyway? You gonna tell us why they’re multi-colored?” Charlie slid an arm behind her on the chair and turned his whole body toward her from his seat to her left. Hermione had to admit to herself that had she not already established a relationship with Severus, and her past interest in Ron not withstanding, she would have a terrible crush on the man. He was hot. “I’d just as soon not get into it tonight.” “I know,” Bill said with a somewhat loopy grin, and Hermione doubted he had heard her response. “Seems they helped her way to a soul mate with their chocolates, and she’s not too happy about it.” “Not Ron or Harry then, huh?” Charlie’s smile became a bit forced. Me thinks that Charlie had a wee bit of a crush as well.

  Bill called over to her, “So, are all their freckles multicolored, or just the ones we can see?” She had to smirk; it was impossible to hold back. “All of them. And they glow in the dark.”    She so could've been in Slytherin.

I'm glad she told this to Ron: “I can’t for the same reason I couldn’t tell you during the school year. And it’s a good thing you don’t intend to kill him, as no person affected by Amoriata has survived more than a few years after their soul mate died. And that few years was plagued with madness. A huge madness and growing need for the lost love. This is a war, Ron, and if one of us dies, the other won’t be far behind.”  Since he's staying the night at the Burrow, I hope he shares this lovely tidbit with the others, especially Molly, and they hex the twins as well.  Ginny and the twins still don't know about this side-effect, and Harry doesn't even know it applies to him yet.

I knew that : in each fic Severus and Hermione are soulmate because she is just like him. Sarcastic and so subbtle in the same time. She just hides it much more than he does. This chapter was very funny and as I notice your updates are quicker I really hope it will continue this way. Thanks for the good job.

Sadness all around, however, your alternative to cannon seems to at least promise a little happiness for our favorite couple, particularly our leading man.  Nice chapter.

Does anyone else out there really want to smack Lavender after reading this chapter? 

It's good that Hermione was able to shed some light on the potion's side effects to Ginny, I imagine she'll have to sit down and have 'the talk' with Harry at some point too, but it's even better that Ginny agreed to keep Hermione's secret and not ask too many questions.

I wonder who the new secret keeper is...

I'm looking forward to seeing how she manages to meet up with Severus (especially since it's suppossed to happen the following day) I doubt her parents will want to let her out of their sight so soon...unless she didn't tell them which day she was returning, she is a sneaky one.   Also, to finding out what she was so eager to research at the end of the last chap.  It could just be Horcruxes, *snort*just*shakes head at self* or it might be something she wanted for when she next encountered her hubby.  I hope she's kept up with her animagus training, something tells me it'll be helpful, if not needed, soon.

And speaking of soon, *hint hint* I'm looking forward to your next chapter!
