I'd never even considered that Snape's vow might be triggered by Harry's sectumsempra of Draco.  Good point.  I'm enjoying this, especially the sense of need between our couple. 

I completely missed that when I read HBP, I knew about the Vow (obviously) but I guess I just lumped it with Draco's Task.  It never occured to me that if Harry had killed Draco, Snape would have died as well.

I like how Hermione is occasionally refering to Harry as the Idiot in her own mind now, like Snape does out loud: taking on a bit more than just his emotions through the Link.

I'm not usually a great fan of Snape teacher/Hermione student but I must say you're doing a good work,  with their banter and complicity working well in the story. They still have a long way to go, I now, but you're definitely doing a good job with this story. 

A great chapter! I hope Hermione will remember Dumbledores words the day she will need to the most, while Severus has to run away with Draco. I hope Severus will know that Hermione will always be there for him, no matter what. I also hope that Harry and Ron won't let her down and behave like idiots. Most of all, and this is my biggest which, I hope you will never make this a story where Severus due to some kind of shceeme "gives" Hermione to Voldemort or some of his "friends" to torture, weather she knows and agrees or not. I just hate such stories, seeing that as both illogical to do to anyone you care the sligthest about, and the worst kind of betrayal, a betrayal so big it can't be forgiven, ever.

Hey, I think lots of us missed the connection of the fight between Harry and Draco in HBP and how it would have killed Snape too if Draco had died.

Great chapter. Those points certainly needed to be dealt with. I'm glad Snape took it relatively well and is looking for ways to deal with this - not that he has much choice! (Not that Hermione does, either, but at this point, Snape's position is immensly more difficult for so many reasons that I feel a little worse for him.)
