Reviews for Chocolate Enchantment
Great chapter.
Glad Ron is trying to understand. Hope Severus and Hermione don't suffer too much from her telling them about the marriage.
I'm glad they made up. (Even though I hate Ron.) And they do need any bit of joy they can get.
Great update!
Yea, an update. Nothing like pruning vigorously when you're out of sorts!
Great story, I've enjoyed reading it tremendously. Well done, well done indeed!
Still a little PO'd at Remus, but his reactions were realistic, and at least someone knows the truth about them now. Hopefully, he'll come to accept, if not like, what's going on. That would sure make things easier for Severus and Hermione in the long run.
Me thinks this was a bit of an understatement: “He was a bit put out that you left bruises on me yesterday, so he ensured it wouldn’t happen again. I didn’t tell him it was you or you would undoubtedly be dead now.”
One word for this part: “So if I killed him you would die soon after. That was what you meant when you said you would be mad with grief if I killed him. It was literal.” Comprehension seemed to dawn on him. Finally!!!
Guessing this realization (and Dobby's entrance into the story here at all): She didn’t bother to wonder how the house-elf had made it through the combined wards she and Remus had put up—nothing seemed to keep house-elves out. will come up again, and maybe play an important role later on.
Had a couple of thoughts here: Even if Remus came to her later that day and said she was brilliant and there was nothing he’d like to do more than to accept Severus back into the bosom of the Order—and that was about as likely as feeling happy around a Dementor—she still had to eventually convince the others not to hex Severus on sight. The first was that they could use Harry and Ginny's connection somehow to verify (for the Order) the things she had been saying about the soul-mate bond: the time and distance making one gittery, feeling eachother's emotions, and knowing if their partner is lying parts; but of course that would have to wait until it was safe to reveal that Harry had a soul-mate himself. That led to my second thought: since Harry has to be the one to finally strike Voldemort down, they're going to need to protect Ginny, and probably keep her away from the Final Battle. If Gin were to get cursed (Crucio'd) while Harry's dueling the Big Bad, the unexpected pain he'd feel through their bond would be enough to give an advantage to the Enemy.
Looking forward to the next! I'm loving this fic!
Can't wait for the next chapter. I can relate to Hermione in a way. My partner and I have been together 5 years and due to unfortunate circumstances we live roughly 200 miles away from each other. We speak every night on the phone and I do believe he is my soul mate.Hermione and Severus' conversation at the end there reminded me of our conversations and text messages before bed. Wish I had that diary though. Would save a hell of a lot of my phone credit!I hope to be living with my partner again soon and I hope Hermione and Severus make it out the other end of this war intact. I really do love this! Keep it going. It's really touched me.(Queen - 'You're my best friend' Came on as I was reading the end and have to say its very appropriate. lol )
What a beautiful story!
I hope to read more from you in the future...
Great chapter, I really enjoyed reading the part with the talk with Remus.
I love the bander they have with each other. I believe Remus will come around with time. Once he sees that Severus truly loves her and doesn't want to kill them all, he'll come around. Great story Looking forward to more.
Another great update. Remus is justified in his reactions, according to his character as written by JKR, but I still think the character is an idiot when it comes to Severus.
It's nice to see you didn't have him suddenly becoming friendly. His loss of control with Hermione is fairly canon, since he did react similarly with Harry in DH.
Can't wait for the next bit. Good job!
Enjoyed this immensely
She should have been in Slytherin
"And it does have properties he didn't bring up with her"You evil thing! It's already like sitting on pins, waiting for the Hermione-Remus confrontation. Now you had to add another nugget for my overactive imagination to work with. Please, update quickly!
One of my favorite chapters.
She's pregnant! Not a fan of how Snape didn't tell her though but I see why.
Crazy!
Your take on soul mates reminds me a lot about In Your Eyes a great movie that I higky recommend
Oh! The scene at the bookstore was brilliant! It was predicable from previous chapters that Remus had his suspicions but reading this chapter still had that oh!! factor.
Oh shite! The snake is out of th bag!!
Hermione may not enjoy being called pet but I always liked it when Sev calls Hermione his pet in the other stories that I read.
Great story! I'm so glad I did a search and found this one. The writing is fabulous, the lemons - supremely tart and although Snape might seem OOC to some, I think behind closed doors he's just fine!
Loved Remus' shock here: “I can’t believe he just stood there and took orders from you.” This has got to be the first fic where I've begun to actively dislike Remus (granted, he thinks he's justified, and he doesn't have all the facts, so he may eventually redeem himself). He got off easy with Hermione. Her calling him on his closed-mindedness, and 'priorites', before going back to the (colder) formal address of Mr. Lupin was much less than what I wanted to do to him as I read it.
Then I wanted to smack Severus for leaving the love-bite and causing problems with the trio, but he made up for it with his protectiveness at seeing her bruise. I can't wait to see the rest of what the spell he used entails! Their domestic moments (sitting and eating in bed) were so sweet, and I liked how he was able to figure out what she was planning to brew with only the round-about questions she asked for clarification. His pride at her idea was great. And the scene in the lab, where they talk about and show eachother their feelings was very touching.
Looking forward to the next!
I like possessive, protective Severus. I have a sneaking suspicion that Ron is going to get shocked a time or three.
Well then. I'm looking forward to what's gonna happen next
Overly protective Severus.....................wonder what other properties that spell holds.
Brilliant as always.
