Eh, eh, eh! I'd love to see the colored spotted twins, but just imagining it is fun and makes me smirk! I'll love to see Snape's reaction to this in the next chapter. Lol

The twins' punishment was creative, and if it wasn't so long-lasting I'd call it a bit mild. *smirks*

I still think she should inform them about some of the side-effects they seemed to have missed in their research, possibly in Molly's presence. Mainly the fact that there is a war on, and the life-expectancy for a potion-inflicted person if their soul-mate dies, and the sanity-expectancy if they can't get together with their soul-mate at all or if they're separated for a length of time. Possibly adding Dumbledore's theory about how all the effects seem heightened depending on how much they need each other.

I think the guilt-trip of finding out they may have put a death-sentence on everyone who actually 'found love' thanks to their chocolates (after-all you never know who'll survive a war) would have a longer-lasting effect than the spots, especially since their sister and 'adopted brother' and 'adopted sister' are all amongst the inflicted.

But then again, I might just be a wee bit more vindictive than Hermione is, even after Severus rubbed off on her.

Loved her revenge on the twins...................although I probably would have been a little crueler.  I certainly would have given them early morning wedges! 

Will she really heve to explain who her soul mate is. I long to read that. But what I expect a lot more is the encounter between Hermione and Severus. Hope it will be soon.

It's great that you're managing this story-line while staying so close to canon.  I can't wait to see what happens next chapter.  I'm sure that's where it's going to start veering off more (or at least showing the details of what happened during the summer before DH began).

I hope it doesn't take her too long to remember that Dumbledore told he Severus would be following his orders, or for her to convince Severus that she can accept what he's done.

First let me say how much I am enjoying your story.  Very well written and nicely paced.  You have kept Severus' prickliness but showed thier growing fondness and love very clearly as well.  Now I get to the part I really don't want to read through.  I know how much his actions are going to hurt Hermione and that makes stories along these lines a bit more difficult to read.  But never fear I will keep reading.  I look forward to your take on how Hermione handles the clashing of her two lives.  Thanks, JoAnne
