I'm so sorry for Mr. Granger. It was no suprise that Severus gave him a potion... I expected a bit more, a few mended bones, a potion for his liver, but that would have been noticed. Having Hermione open up to him yet again, telling him about her parentls, I'm surprised Severus didn't shut himself off again. I was most surprised that you made Tobias an educated man, a dr. and researcher. It doesn't fit with living in Spinner's End. So how did they end up in that h--l hole?and You done it again! An evil cliffie! Please update soon... I really am enjoying this story.

Fantasitically crafted chapter, this one. It said so much about Severus, abdout his relationships wiht the others, and about his feelings for Hermione. Just beautiful. Waiting with baited breath for the update!

I am really interested at your approach to Severus' dad. I think that's better than the drunken, blue-collar sort he's usually paointed as. Much more depth for the abusive nature, bravo to you!! Clever and enthralling as always!

This chapter and the last one seem to me to be pivotal in this story and the direction it will take.  I wonder what Severus had been doing in Ireland, and why he had made the statement to Hermione about not knowing you were hungry, but then you see something you like and all of a sudden you realize you're starving.  And now in this chapter, he had made it a point to take one of his potions to Mr Granger because he wanted him to be better and didn't hold Muggle doctors in high regard.  After hearing what he told Hermione about his upbringing, I'm not at all surprised at that.  Still, it was a very thoughtful thing for him to do... and Mr Granger did get better faster than the doctors thought he would.When Hermione and Severus were walking along the road and talking, I hope he took to heart what she told him about how she sees him.  "I wish you could see yourself through my eyes only once, Severus."And then she made a decision...  What was the decision?  What?  I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting to know.Great chapter!BethFor Marisol, I want her to now that I will keep her mother and all her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Nice chapter, I liked the way Severus helped Hermione's dad.I am sorry to hear that your mom is ill.  My mom also has a heart condition, so I can relate.  It goes without question that I will remember her in my prayers.

Some I find it appropriate that they should reunite in the same room that they first spoke to eachother. It has come full circle.

Oh I hate these situtations where someone has to "break down" and talk to the other first. Maybe they could just run into eachother in the street and then it will all be nuetral?

Harry's comments are disconcerting. He doesnt think Snape is whole enough or good enough to be a partner for Hermione? Then why does he include this man in his family?When Severus started berating her my chest hurt. I actually felt pain because he is being so cruel. I expect he is pushing her away because he feels vulnerable. Stupid, stupid man.
