Reviews for Breaching the Otherworld
my word. you know, as I go on reading this, I am reminded of the movie Pan's Labyrinth. You know the faun, who tells Ofelia what to do, and gives her advice? I've always thought that he seems just like a guide or guardian at the beginning, but as the story goes on, he seems less and less trustworthy, and more and more concerned with a separate agenda. That's how I feel about Lucius right now. What's going on that he didn't tell hermione? and what's up with draco? I'm getting a bad feeling about this.

There's so much more going on. :) I really liked that movie by the way. :)
exciting...intriguing....please, I hope the book is not influencing hermione to want to give up her virgin's blood for lucius. please. that is just....urk. is he even telling her the truth about narcissa?I love this. i can't wait to find out what's next.

Damn tome is terrible! :)
Very great chapter! I am anxious to hear what Severus says to Hermione and to see what Ron, Harry and Ginny do now! I am glad you'll be updating soon!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Hope you liked it. :)
Ooohh.. love that Hermione is standing her ground - not the feeble little girl Snape thought she'd be eh? Well, I guess Sev wouldn't have picked her if he thought her feeble but still, he probably didn't expect her to demand things of him either. Can't wait til the next chapter and the Sev and Hermione promised to come. :)
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Glad you enjoyed! :)
Now we're talking. This is what I've been waiting for! I love Severus and Hermione's little talk and the magical bond--I'm such a sucker for it. And poor Ron. I hoped it was too bad to be true.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
thanks! :) More up soon!
You got me fooled, I didn't know it was you who had written this. It's brilliant. If there's a case of tangled webs, it's in this story, though Harry is "unweaving" them in a mature way he barely showed in the books (minus the fist in Ron's face).
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
thank you! I'm glad you are enjoying it.
Now it would be just like the boys to burst in on Hermione and Severus just when they were finally sorting things out...but can they find them?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
That would be about right, huh? haha
Great chapter - well Hermione has told Severus that she does not love him. Ron was under a curse to go to the other woman - this is going to get heated and quick.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
~nod~ Yep!
Hm... perhaps the hotheads should actually talk to Hermione first? Although it was rather rude of Ron to abandon his wife that way!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
It was rude of him, but I can see the need for it. Teehee. Bad SW
I don't think I guessed, but I'm enjoying the story anyway. You know, I wonder why the Malfoys were willing to take all that risk because Harry does have clout with the Ministry. Of course, they won't be able to do anything about the bonding, but this should be interesting.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
:) Thanks!
woohoo, long chapter. Uh oh, now the shiite is going to hit the fan and spray them all. Poor Jeri. Would've liked to have seen a little more hg/ss but I guess if you want plot there have to be other characters involved too. Loved it, hurry with those updates, pretty please.P.S. congrats on winning 1st. I did not know it was you writing, but to be fair, I hadn't started reading until I found out it was you because (sorry) the summary didn't drag me in when I initially read it. But knowing it was you writing, I decided to give it a go anyway. I am glad I did.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Hope you continue to enjoy! :) Thank you very much about hte comments. :) I should have done better with the summary, but I was feeling a bit vague. Hahaha! Maybe I'll think of a better one. :)
Cool! You almost made Narcissa confess to everything! I hope Harry and Ginny figure out the missing pieces, I hope Draco is all right and that Lucius gets his! Looking ofrward to the updates!!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Almost... bwaahahaha
Very enjoyable as usual, and no, I didn't guess this story to be yours. Excellent work!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)

Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you for reading it! :)
I didn't know it was you--I just knew this story was extremely well written and I hated the fact that I didn't know who was writing it. Now I know, I can pretend and say "oh yeah, I recognized your writing style all along." Excellent chapter. I don't want to give you any more compliments or your head won't fit through the door. Jean.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thanks! :)
Holy Cow! Snape and Hermione managed to become the cliched arguing married couple! They even went into the mother-in-law thing! LOL!This chapter was just filled with action. I'm glad everyone is coming up to speed. I was hating how Hermione was feeling so isolated with her being bonded to Snape.Livvy
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
LOL :) Glad you're enjoying.
Another great chapter, thank you! At first I thougth Hermione a bit immature in the beginning of the chapter, but realised two things; Hermione had all reasons for being upset, and seccond; my desire for Hermione and Severus to live happily ever after doesn't mean that they must be happy in every chapter and that they actually have some things to work/talk through before they can settle as a couple. I hope Severus actually will tell the complete truth to Hermione. Firstly because he promised to do so, and breaking his word should cost him any trust he could ever hope to receive from Hermione. Seccond, after all the lies and untold facts, Hermione deserves to know the truth. Third, I really want to know the plot behind:-))I doubt Kingsley and/or the Ministry will be able to do anything about Malfoy, he has probably covered his track to well. I do hope that he will have to pay dearly for his action though. Update againg soon!!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I definitely think they both have faults. It'll take some time, but things will get better, though they may get worse first. :(
About time Harry hit Ron. Somebody should have a long time ago. Great read. Thanks.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I agree!
It's not often that I come across a Lucius I really hate, but you've certainly created one here. Fucking ratshit bastard. I mean, really. I understand his motivations and all; they're just stupid. You'd think the man would learn that sometimes power and vengeance aren't as great as advertised and that it's better to have the world loving you than hating you when you want to stay in control.Hmmph. Stupid Lucy.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
:) LOL Too right. Thanks for reading.
As always, you write some of the best stories I've had the pleasure of reading. I stayed up way past when I should have gone to bed in order to read what you've posted of this so far, haha. My eyes are all dry and itchy... too busy reading to blink! Anyway, I can't wait for an update.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Oops!! Hope you enjoy the rest! :)
I really like (and am impressed) by the complexity of the plot, but then again now that your identity is revealed, why am I not surprised? I usually love your writing. Back to the review: I also enjoyed and was intrigued by the ambiguity that you have infused into Snape's contribution in the planning of 'the ressurrection'and the selection of Hermione, plus whether or not Ron was acting of his own volition (Prat!). I suppose it then leaves Hermione with less guilt than if Ron had stayed true, and allowed you more latitude with her actions. The concept of shared infidelity negating personal responsibility is an interesting one, but then it nicely illustrate how WRONG they are for each other. Plus if he had been Imperioused, does it mean that Hermione was still the perfect one for him? Nah I take it back...Ron always had a thing for the French Witches. You made good use of Hermione's character attributes/flaws contributing to her downfall eg. blind trust, pride/overconfidence in her abilities, reckless thirst for knowledge and approval/noteriety. This concept is nicely borrowed from Shakespearean tragedy. I was sad for the loss of a 'nice' Lucius, especially the taking of Hermione's virginity and the (befuddling) potion. Not that she overly valued her virginity, but to do that was defacto rape, and truly illustrated his evil. This change, initially nicely contrasts with your characterisation of Snape, but then has us wondering about Snape's motives! Can I trust him since I fell for the directed narrative before? OK I'll go and wash out my mouth with soap... I do trust Severus...truly...And the Severus's line - "Do you mind I'm trying to bed my wife". He He! Nice line insertion from The Sherriff of Nottingham (Robin Hood). As a further aside check out the black top The Sherriff is wearing in that final fight scene with Robin. It reminds me so much of the top that Severus is described wearing as a child in DH. But then dagnabit Alan Rickman's character dies AGAIN! He certainly makes it a bl**dy annoying habit. I hope you can have words to Severus that one premature death so far is quite enough, and to stay alive in this fic! Mary-Elizabeth M does remind me of Hermione - Ye Merlin! Her hair! Is there a sword/wand duel in the future? (He does move so well...) Or does Snape reclaim Hemione's honour from Lucius by using a spoon? But I am rambling. In conclusion - another sterling effort and I am waiting with baited breath for the next insallment :-)
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Does the sheriff say that whole line? I remember him saying, "Do you mind?" when Robin burst in... or was that when his "crone" interrupted? Hahaha... I love that movie. I shall have to watch it again soon. More up soon. I have the next one done and am going to post it this evening. :)
just got around to this one...excellant as usuall from you. Thank you for the hard work that you do to give us these great stories.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Yay! Glad you found it. :)
Update soon please, I can't wait for more.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
It should be up by tomorrow sometime. :)I'll try not to overdo that cheesy phrase. Hahaha
I am glad Ron got married, that will take some of the heat of Hermione.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Definitely. Wait till chapter 12 though. Hahhaa
Great chapter, I hope snape makes a potion to cure poor hermione. I can't wait for Harry to kick lucious' arse.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
All in good time. ~nod about Harry~ :)
