Oh, you can't just leave it there!  I'm quite angry and disappointed in her right now.  How can you blame Severus for being bitter?  Hopefully with the return of her memories, she can sort herself out, and then her marriage. 

argh! evil cliffie! i hope you mean it when you say, more soon! this chapter made me ache for poor severus. when i see all that anger on the surface, it just makes the pain underneath so clear. and - still wondering what's in the bloody trunk!

Well, now that she has all of the data, and hopefully an improved perspective, perhaps she can make better decisions.It's not as if Severus is so lily-white and guilt-free.  They both need to be honest about what they feel and what they want.  Self/Other -protection has gotten them into this mess and they won't get out if they don't give it up and be vulnerable to one another.Thanks for the bit about the blanket.  I was hoping that would happen.

Thank you so much for the update! I am trilled that she finally seems to remember how much she loves Severus, hopefully she can now get her life on the rigth track? I did not like how Ginny and Ron set her up for a dinner alone with Ron. Though I am glad she didn't cave in to Ron's romantic interest, I would have liked to see her stronger in her lack of romantic interest for him, also a bit of anger for being set up like this, and probably because I simply don't like Ron, especially when he tries to persuade her to be involved with him, I would have liked her rejection of him to be stronger. While I guess I migth be inflicted with my dislike for him, I just can't see why she should be so considerate with him, even more so than with Severus? Keeping friendship I can understand, but if that is what she wants she must deal with the fact that Ron wants more and make him understand that it would never happen instead of letting him keep a iota of hope that he can persuade her at some point. Update again soon!!!

Oh, the realization that she would give up everything for him to live was her trigger for the rest of the memories! Brilliant. I just love that she is so empathetic to Severus. but it bugs me to no end that she is overly-empathetic to Ron. What makes Ron more important? Hmph...

Oh, my heart is absolutely breaking for Hermione. I hope the sudden recollection of all her memories will bring her clarity and help her sort through this tangled mess.

Oh, more puzzle pieces!  It's painfully beautiful to see Hermione finding herself in different ways in this chapter, finding that she has happy memories of the home they shared.  I hope Severus finds out about her visits somehow.

Her returning memories are almost more confusing than not knowing!  Her reasons for choosing Ron over Severus at this point seem rather... well... lame.  Especially when she recognizes that Ron will not be half the man that Severus is.I do hope that as he search progresses, there will be better reasons for what she's done.  Of course, maybe I'm being too judgemental.  I'm sure it's difficult to decide what to do when you love two men.
