Reviews for Breaching the Otherworld
I come here as soon as I receive the email alert. This story caught me in so deep, work be damned. (don't tell my boss...)But oh my God, that was one very, VERY intense chapter! I was glued to the screen and clenched my hands at various points and even shook my head in disbelieve. Seriously, what is GOING on here?!! So now the tome was simply a tool to guile Hermione along? It was not magical at all? At least only magical to allow Lucius put forth his words. And how is that Severus' order? And really, they're planning to make Severus the next Dark Lord? I was using expletives (much to my colleagues shock) when it was revealled that Lucius was the one in front of Mr Granger's car! Why didn't I see it???!! Damn! He had LONG hair!! Why didn't I see it?? It was not Narcissa after all!All I hope for now is Severus has the upper hand in this and that he has a bigger plan than what he lead Lucius to believe. More please!!

Glad you enjoyed it. I am working on the next chapter already. It will be up within the week. Lucius is so very sly. I hope more of your questions will be answered in the next one. In fact, they should be. :) Thank you!!
More twists and turns... and I just knew that Lucius was involved with her father's accident!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Yep! You got it. :)
what a nasty potion, presumably Draco and Hermione have had the same.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
It's a bad one! :)
WOW! I knew that Lucius was a sneaky, underhanded jerk but man oh man, I never imagined to this extent. You knocked me for a loop - I love when that happens. Great job!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Yay! Thank you! I'm glad you are enjoying it still.
Great chapter, I'm glad Lucius has reverted back to form, now I don't have to like him.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Right on. Thank you
Poor Hermione. And I'm glad her father told her. But really, these plots within plots, it is like some grand soap opera.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Is that bad or good? :)
Interesting... Oh yes!! Very much so! This short chapter is loaded with information and yet opens loads more questions. The biggest is: is Snape a bad guy? with his Dark Arts and moodiness, yes, but evil, I don’t think so, no. Still, I have to wonder. In Hermione’s dreams he wasn’t so nice, the dark dreams where he was a monster of sorts plays to mind.
And then the reveal of Lucius as her father's "attacker" was not unexpected. I think he had something to do with Ron being waylaid as well - anything to get Hermione to cooperate with him and use her as he wanted. He’s the evil one I think!!
Good chapter… now on pins waiting for more!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
You're sweet. Thanks for the long review. Not unexpected then, right? Well, I am slipping. I'd hoped to surprise someone. I only gave out a few hints. :)
Ah, and so the cards are on the table now. At least, a lot of them. Poor Hermione. And Lucius truly is a bastard. Excellent chapter. I'm glad the next one is on the way!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Most of the cards anyway. :) MOre up soon.
That's our hero, Harry! I'm still not sure if Severus is good or evil or what exactly. And what does Draco get out of telling what he knows? Makes me want to keep an eye on him. Besides his cute. lol. Keep up the great work.Tamara aka

Thank you for reading. I hope your questions get answered.
This is getting so good. I read it straight through without one break. I'm completely wrapped up in this story. Even uncompleted it has become one of my fav fanfics.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you very much. I appreciate that.

oh lord...something very dark is afoot. i think draco tried to warn her, too. what will happen next? i can hardly wait for the next update. thanks so much!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Yep! :)
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Yep! :)
Severus’ body must be able to hear and understand because in her last dream the nightmare didn’t come till “nearly morning” I don’t know if that is reassuring or even more creepy. I really like the horror aspects of this story.
Hermione’s poorly buttoned up nightgown makes me think that Lucius did indeed take advantage of her while she was under the effects of a potion. Which seems out of character for a Lucius who is trying to shed his DE past. Maybe the book had him under a trance??
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
The dreams will be brought up again in a later chapter, explaining things.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Oh and there is just so much more to Lucius. You'll see
Incredible! This story is going in my top 10!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you very much
HOly hell woman this mystery of is a puzzle within a puzzle. I do like how Lucius and Hermione are solving it together. Tee hee.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you very much
This is getting really good. I look forward to more.

Thank you very much
Rickman at the bookstore huh? I wonder if his first name is Alan? hahahh
Hermione a lie of ommission is still a lie. I agree with Harry, it was unfair of her to put him in the middle. Especially when this all blows up, because of course it will!!
I enjoyed watching Lucius crumble a bit at dinner. He completely lost his calm didnt he? And again with the temper tantrum when she opened the book. Perhaps he needs a prescription for valium?
On to the next chapter!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Alan Rickman indeed. I couldn't help myself. Glad you are enjoying. :)
Even though this Snape is pretty scary, I'm glad he's not going to let Lucius get away with his manipulations. I've got a theory about that blonde woman, too. I hope all of the reivews are encouraging you to write fast.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Right. :) Thank you. They are!
No, not good. Poor Hermione. And I really want the whole revenge on Lucius thing.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
He shall get his... one of these days. :)
Oh wow. Looks like Hermione got what she'd dreamed of after all. Now I'm wondering just how much of all this Lucius had contrived. Very tricky.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Very tricky is right.
That was a perfectly lovely dream. Now that I'm getting over the Lucius part, it's easier to focus on Severus instead of Ron. I'm not a fan of moral ambiguity, but it is a fascinating cautionary tale.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you. Nor am I, but it happens.
Meep! I'm a little worried about what may be in the process of being set up here, but it's too compelling to stop reading.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thanks for the compliment
Another intereting chapter. A nice find on b-day.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
happy late birthday, friend
Know what? For a minute there I thought Lucius found a way to bring Voldermont back in Severus' body. But then Severus didn't seem to happy about what Hermione told him about what Lucius had done. And as for him locking her in, well wouldn't you, knowing how curious she is and her ability to get in trouble, like now
Truly amazing story
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you very much. He knew she'd try to go out. LOL
I so tell everyone "Dont trust a Malfoy, even if he is hot as hell". See, I rest my case. Not that I'm mad Severus is back but gee. The whole wife thing was a little surprising. I can't wait to see if Hermione remembers anything and how Severus truly acts.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
LOL :) Very shocking.
Wow. Excellent new chapter! And just what *does* Lucius have up his wicked little sleeve? Is he going to attempt to groom Severus to be the next Dark Lord? That kinda felt like what The Tome implied. Looking forward to reading more!!!!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
He's got lots of little trickeses.... :)
