Is it really Severus? Is Lucious up to no good? What is he planning for Hermione? I just love cliffhangers!!

It's really Severus. :)
I loved all the complications and was shocked when Severus asked why she was not a virgin... I think he knows it has something to do with Malfoy. I cannot wait to see what happened between them - please write another chapter- I am on pins and needles

He's very suspicious! :)
My goodness! I have been away from the fandom for about four months now, but I decided to take a little peek and found your fic. I "couldn't put it down"! It is absolutely amazing. I am remembering what it was that I loved about fanfic. You have a great writing style, your characters are full and complex, your plot is intriguing and original. I love it! Great job, I can't wait for more.

I'm glad you like it. :) You don't know who I am at the moment, but I've missed your reviews and wondered where you'd gone to. :) Thank you very much
Incredible! I'd put this story off because I didn't think I could handle another heavy WiP. Seeing the snippet from the most recent chapter convinced me to try to catch up. The book is a great concept.

Severus=the next Dark Lord? Surely not! LOL I loved this chapter even though it leaves more unanswered questions than answers. Makes me look forward to the next!

OMG Severus definitely knows more about that book than Hermione does. I think he's got some suspicions about what Lucius was up to. And I also think that Lucius made damn sure that he would be her first. I bet she's somehow bonded to him as well. Like a minion. How much did I want to beat him over the head when Hermione called for him and didn't remember having been drugged (potioned?)! That bastard, he knew that was going to happen as well! And I'll bet Narcissa's in on it too. She was just away so that Hermione would agree to help more easily.
When I read the new passage in the book I thought maybe Severus was supposed to be the next Dark Lord (I am absolutely convinced that there are Dark Lords involved in this), but now I'm not so certain. Why would Lucius make someone else the next Dark Lord and not himself? He's definitely got the means. Unless Severus is supposed to be a muppet with Lucius being the real power but not taking any blame, so if it goes wrong he can always go out and say he was Imperiused. And Hermione's oath would still protect him from her and shes the only one who knows the details.
But I'm even more convinced now that the book is a hoax, that Lucius has made it so that Hermione would think it was real and didn't hide the fact that it was uber-dark magic so as not to make her suspicious. I'm really very reminded of the diary in CoS now.

Much of what you are questioning is commented on in the most current chapter. I hope you like it. Bwahahaha As for Lucius, he's always got motives :)

Oooo, Luciusis in trouble now! Snape is really made about not being first. I'm glad Hermione is beginning to remember, but this doesn't bode well...
Good chapter though.

"The thought of having sex with Professor Snape wasn’t very pleasant, especially since he’d been dead nearly a year"
One of the great understatements of all time!!! And about the only thing that would make me think twice before saying yes!

If not for the dreams Hermione had, I would suspect that Lucius engineered the whole thing. He's definately up to something rotten though.
I like a good mystery- thanks for the new chapter.

How horrid! I've been hooked for a while and dying to know what happens next. I'm a happy ending junkie -- and hoping for the best. You just can't trust Lucius, can you? Looking forward to the next installment -- and thanks for your work!

I think, the best chapter so far, and I have really been loving this story! Hermione's mind is flying in a million directions. I especially loved the line, "as tho sizing up opponents". That's always what it is with these two, isn't it? Great job!
Author's Response: Yep! Thank you. :)
Given her situation, Hermione takes things better than could be expected. Surely Severus has guessed Lucius has done something wrong to her, and by extension, to him since he seems genuinely happy to be married to her. Will you show us their confrontation? And I wouldn't put it past Lucius to use Hermione as a hostage. He was too smooth and forthcoming for it not to be suspect.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
She is coping fairly well. I'm sure she'll not be pleased once everything comes out. I will not show the confrontation right away, no, that would give away too much. More soon

Thank you so much for the update! I hope you will update again soon, there were several questions raised here, questions I would love to get the answears to. I hope you will have Severus telling the truth to Hermione, as she asked him to, there has obviously been told to many lies and halftruths so far, she deserves that at least her husband don't lie or withheld facts for her. After all she has sacrifaced, she at least deserves that. (Not to mention my curioustity needs to be satisfied too:-))

I will update again next week. There's so much coming up that will brought to light. I hope you enjoy it. don't want to spoil things.

Intreguing. i have some theories, such as the blond person who walked in front of Hermione's father's car, the way the tome depicted an exact picture of the library into Hermione's dreams, and the fact that Severus asked where her virgin blood is and was so disdainful of the book.
Cannot wait for the next chapter!

Now I'm trying to figure out just what Lucius wants of Severus. Hermione obviously was just a means to an end. I'm also interested to see just how much of what happened was Lucius' manipulations--she never checked to see what really caused her father's accident, and the pictures of Ron could have been faked.

:) So many questions shall be answered soon.

I am so incredibly curious to see where you will take this story! This chapter was amazing. I feel terrible for Hermione, no one deserves to be manipulated like that, and Severus as well. I do hope that Lucius gets his comeuppance for what he has done. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Sheesh! So she's locked in a dungeon room, with no wand, and no one knows she's there... not good, indeed.
Those lines "He was powerful, He is powerful, He will be the most powerful" reminded me of Voldemort. Hmm.. I hope Lucius hadn't planned on raising a new Dark Lord. Before those lines I was starting to wonder if maybe Lucius and Narcissa had planned this to enact revenge on Sev for his spying - there are worse things than death after all. But now... I hope Sev isn't intended to take up where Voldemort left off - eeww..
So many questions LOL. Looking forward to reading more.

argh!!!! I'm going to make a wild guess that Lucius took her virginity because it somehow gives Lucius some of this new "power" that Severus will have when "The world shall be at his feet." I hope she remembers, perhaps with Severus' help. my worry is that Severus isn't yet strong enough to face Lucius, plus he's wandless. yikes! please hurry with the next chapter...

So Hermione does not remember that Lucius manipulated and drugged her and that he still thinks she is a mudblood. Severus does not seem to know about the tome, which is odd. Now Hermione is married to a man who admits that he still loves another woman, who is dead. She believes she loves Ron, who has left her for another woman. And she is trapped alone like a rat in an aquaduct without a wand. Yikes. When is the next chapter?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
She shall though. Soon. :) Hope you like what I have planned.

"Now that you have completed your tasks your loved one will be spared... honor and obey
him, treat him with respect and behave in a manner befitting your new
station."
this is sooooooo Lucius....Ok - he is in charge of/manipulated- whatever- somehow he is the one behind the tome and all it's deeds/warnings/threats/manipulations etc...right??? I knew it was Narcissa who caused the accedent with Hermione's father...right?? AHHHHH-
Severus is back, but braught back with Dark magic; "he will be the most powerful? world at his feet?" sounds tooo much like Lucius wants to create a new Dark Lord....Oh NO! (say it ain't so....???)
Hermione not being a virgin seems to be a problem (wait to Sev finds out who was her first!); no wands; Lucius being- Lucius all dark and diabolical, wifey being unknowingly "drugged"; and a pissed off Snape on the war path- bring on the next chapter!
PS- luving this story

Argh!! This is so frustrating! What the heck is happening here!!There's so many things to say... but here to start?! Okay, first Severus (mental note: if in doubt, always start with Severus...*teehee*). I was not certain on how Severus would act when he wakes up too. I mean, last night he was driven by the three-part rituals to satisfy thingy, so he might be different when he's all alive and in control of his mind. When he did wakes up, I was not surprise that he treated her more as a possession than a wife, truth to speak. But I was surprise that he didn't know about the tome. And he threw the book on the floor!! Yikes, like I said before, no book like to be thrown across ESPECIALLY this one! I dearly hope no one will suffer because of that. And then, he seems so jumbled up with his emotions, didn't he? He was really sweet and caring when the first thing he said to her was about her happiness. But why was he crying in the shower? And why did he upset knowing that she was not a virgin last night? Why does it so important that she was? I mean, does it hurt his ego that someone else had Hermione before him? Somehow I'm glad that Hermione throw it at him that she's twenty and he shouldn't be that self-absorbed into thinking she's some possession as though she save herself to be with him. Unless there's a valid reason why he was upset she's no longer a virgin, I think he's a down-right prat. What year did he think he'd woken up to, anyway? I really hope he'll come around and start treating Hermione like one should treat a wife.Next is Lucius. God, I want to puke! I really really hate the way he told Hermione that she's now married to Severus. As if he didn't know before! The bastard! Somehow I have a feeling that he sent Narcissa away to smooth things in the bringing-back-Severus business and not that she's asking for divorce. It seemed rather odd when she suddenly 'misses' him now that Severus is back. God, I hate him now! Argh! I hope Severus makes him pay for that. I know that he do them a favor in indirectly binding them together, heck, I'm a SS/HG fanfreak! But I hate him using them like that. Ooh, I can feel that there's something he wants from Severus. I wonder what he's got under his sleeve... grr...Third, the tome. Obviously now we know that Severus had nothing to do with the dreams with the tome. Apparently, he remembered bits and pieces, but I suspect he didn't actually asked her to help him like those in the dreams. But what about the dream by the seaside? Did he think Hermione could have brought him back without some dark magic involved? This is so confusing. Which one is Severus and which one is tome-created... Oh and another. Apparently, even though Severus did not think high of the tome, it's not the same with the tome. It said Severus is the most powerful? Please don't tell me he's the new Dark Lord!! Heaven forbid!!! What's the deal between them?Poor Hermione. She's trapped in between. Somehow I hope that Severus did not locked her to keep her out or because he doesn't trust her. I hope it's to keep her in and so that people can't harm her. I mean, he did ask her to wait him there... I hope things will be alright soon (next chapter!).
Oh, this one got me real bad now. I can't wait for more and longer chapter! Keep up the good work.

I promise most of your questions will be answered. As far as him crying in the shower, I think it was just him being emotional, finally back in his body, so much happening. I appreciate your comments very much. Sorry I didn't reply right away. I hope you like what I have now and where this is going.
