Well you are certainly entitled to your opinion.  I respect that.  I made it clear that there would be no physical involvement with the men other than what they had in the past.  This began for me as an exploration of the relationship two men could have.  This is about two men who have loved each other deeply and passionately in the past.  They have been friends for most of their lives and would it not have been for some out side factors things between them might have gone a different way.  I don't feel that two people who have loved one another deeply in the past can just stop either.  But they have moved on even though their feelings are still there.I see the women in their life as being secure enough with themselves and their feelings to accept that there was something special in the past of the men they are in love with.  You find it unacceptable, yet what you find unacceptable someone else might be okay with or have no problem with.Yes, it is complicated, but life is complicated and relationships are complicated.  I've known people in my life that have found it difficult to love just one person.  But I've known people that there has only been one person in their lives that they could love.  I still remember my very first high school love.  A person who I have compared most men in my life against.  Whether that's good or bad, I don't know, but its something I feel and I believe its something a lot of people feel.You are welcome to stop here, if that's what you wish.  If you stop, then thank you for taking the time to have read what you have so far.  If you wish to continue, I thank you for going on with it.

Oh no, you didn't offend me.  Please don't think that.  I respect the fact that you have your opinion and you are fully entitled to it.I also thank you for voicing your feelings.I do plan to address both couples feelings more.  This chapter was just a part one and there will be more talking and expressing their feelings in the next chapter.  But as I began writing the chapter it was beginning to get too long, and I wanted to just break it off into two chapters.But as I said, if you do wish to stop reading, I'll understand.  I won't be offended.  I'm just happy that you had enjoyed it thus far.

I actually originally thought of Dolohov's demise as a joke to myself.  "Oh, maybe I'll just turn him into a chair and be done with him ha ha." Then I figured, hey why the hell not?  I didn't want Severus to get his hands dirty.  This was the cleanest way I could think of and keep Severus above any suspicion.I see Ginny as having a bit more of a problem with it, only because of her past relationships.  She hasn't exactly been lucky in love in this story.  She just wants to find love the poor girl.If I'm lucky, I can get the next chapter started at work tomorrow.  I'll certainly have it done for the weekend though.Thanks for reviewing!

LOL, I'm not a fan of female slash.  I admit, I like watching two good looking men kiss, and I don't find anything wrong with someone who doesn't like it.But, I think I've given pretty good warning that this was coming.I'm not planning on any female slashing going on and if it works out that Hermione and Ginny kiss then so be it, but at this point I can tell you it might not happen.I'm glad that you liked the chapter.  Thanks for the support.

I agree, there is a double standard when it comes to these kind of things, but I'm not putting any female slash in here.The story I set out to do was a story about two men and their relationship past and present.  I think it would cheapen the entire thing by having both the women being lovers in the past.I don't get why some women don't mind reading female slash yet turn their nose up to male slash.  Hell watching or reading about two women for that matter does nothing for me.I will say this, I'm going to make sure that I have plenty of warnings from here on out.  I have no problem with someone not wanting to read that part of the story.  I'd like to let someone know what's coming so that they can at least come to that part and skip it altogther.I was sabotaged by a writer once that way and I'm not going to do it to people who read my stories.LOL, I guess what I'm saying is, I'm not going to stray from my original idea and have two women here having a sexual relationship or even sharing a kiss.  I'd considered the kiss for a moment, but now I decided it just won't work.

While they have stated and it is understood that they do still love each other, they have also both moved on.  They are both drawn to women, and are the only man either has slept with or had any kind of feeling like that for.Severus told Hermione before the slept together that he wasn't in love with her, but he did lover her, however his feelings for her would soon change.  So Severus is falling in love with her.I believe it's possible to be in love with two people at the same time.Also, both men have not been together for years, so they have plenty of self control, only allowing themselves that one kiss in all the years since their last physical entanglement.  And heck, I love watching men kiss, so I felt the need to have them kiss and they might do so again.I'm not saying Hermione and Ginny won't be shocked when they find out, but by the time they do find out, they will be secure enough with both men to allow it.I don't know anyone in a situation like this personally, but I have a friend who has known people in this kind of a situation, so it does happen.I guess different strokes for different folks.  I would have a problem with it, but if I guess it depends on how much I loved the man and how committed he was to me as well as the other man being committed to his woman, if the case were the same as in my story.  I would probably either have to accept it or leave him and deal with my broken heart.Thanks for leaving a review and taking the time to read the chapter.

I thought I'd just put a warning, since one reviewer said they didn't care for it.  But I see nothing wrong with two men who cared and still care for each other kissing.  I've set up their relationship, so I did plan at one point to have them kiss, and there will be a flashback scene with both of them doing more than kiss, but its part of the story.I'm glad you liked the chapter.  Thanks!
