The kids of Hogwarts are out enjoying the winter fun. One small problem. Just as the snowmen have been built they melt immediately. What could be causing this problem or who? Could it be Professor Snape? Could it be the evil side of Albus? Or is there something chemically wrong with the snow? Or should is it a touch of the females that need to build the men or is their touch to hot for the men of Howarts.

You know, that actually sounds very interesting.

I'm going to have to print this out and see if I can come up with something interesting. Thanks for the idea! of course you will get full credit for inspiring my lazy muse.

I'm glad you liked the end. I thought that Rodolphus would just want to give his home to someone who he felt would take care of it.

I don't like killing characters off. At least not principle characters. JKR can do that, but this is for my own pleasure.

Thanks. He started off as a minor character I'd planned on killing off, but he became such an important part of the story. LOL, I really should have named it A Tale of Three Men, because he grew the most during this story.

I'm so glad you liked the redemption of the Lestranges. I wanted to add something different here, something that I'd not read before.

I also can't get away from the happy endings. RL is depressing enough, and I know things are going to end happily for everyone in the books, so why not do it here.

LOL, I know they are quite apart in age, but its something that happens in RL, and since magical people live longer, I don't think an age difference of that much would matter.

I know what you are saying about Molly, but I wanted to make this a somewhat happy story, and I honestly just didn't want the angst of having someone constantly questioning them and trying to keep them apart.

Yes, you are so right about the age thing. I imagine it would have had a few interesting moments.  And about Molly, again, I see your logic.  I'm not fond of all the hand-wringing either.  Sometimes the disapproval/angst/whatever is still occurring 30 chapters into a fic... that can get tedious. So, yes, I get your point.  Thanks again for writing such an entertaining story.

Yes, as a rule I really try to stay away from reading and writing angst. I read fanfiction to get my mind off of RL, and I don't need to stress over a made up story.

I know Severus has taken a back seat in this story, but even though I meant this to be a study of the relationship between the two men, I've never really given Lucius too much time. I'm enjoying doing that.

And Rodolphus is just the icing on the cake. We know so little about him, and there are so few fics about him, I took advantage here.
