I had to give Narcissa and Lucius a moment there.Thank you for reading this and taking the time to comment.
aww I am so used to Narcissa being cold and heartless see her like this makes me want to cry
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
She's always portrayed like that, so I wanted to do something different. I don't think she is a cold person, at least a cold mother. She cares for her son, we saw that in HBP.Thanks for reading!

Very true I wrote a nice story about Narcissa too I do like that character a lot :)
This is a great story! It's moving and has much emotional content. There is also a well-developed plot and storyline. I especially like the character of Rodolphus Lestrange and how he seeks to redeem himself through his actions in the war.Well done and I hope to read more stories from you!!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
I'm glad you liked it! I loved working on this story. It's a bit more dramatic than my others, and while I really hadn't planned on giving Rodolphus much of a role, he turned out to be my favorite plotline. Redeeming him was a pleasure.
I don't have plans on any more fanfic for HP. This was probably my swan song. I think I've done all I could do with the world of HP.
KICK ASS! You know you'd think I would be grown up enough (I'm nineteen) to not giggle every time I encounter the word "penis", but I guess not. I totally love everything about this fic so far. Keep up the good work!

I'm 41 and I still giggle at the word penis. LOL. I hope you like the rest of the story. thanks for taking the time to read this and leave me a review.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
OMG love the lucius in jail part!!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
LOL, thanks. I couldn't help myself on that one.
What a happy ending for them all - how he went to Isabella - a new start for all of them - good work.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
I'm glad you enjoyed this. I loved writing this story. It was satisfying turning some of the Death Eaters into the heroes.
Aha - I can already see he went to Isabella - good idea. The catch up of their lives was good. It was a great touch that he left the house to Neville. All in all a great chapter.
The appearance of the ghosts - Narcissa and Bella was just brillant - way to give it to Voldie and then his own death eaters turning against him - again very good - this final battle scene was fantastic.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
Thank you. I wanted to give the Death Eaters a way to get rid of Voldemort, since it was because of following him, they really ruined their lives.
What a battle scene and the details - just perfect. It was full of tension and fights for life - it was great.
Isabella - and he calls her Bella - maybe he has found the one to replace the one that was lost - interesting twist and great name. The war scene was interesting - the net portkeying the Death Eaters straight into Azkaban -it was a brillant idea. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
What a good way for Lucius to tell Ginny that she was pregnant and what a crafty situation that is going on - Voldemort is one sick man is he not?
Good job.
What a heart wrenching chapter - Neville's girlfriend is captured. The war is tomorrow. Severus and Hermione get one more moment while both worrying for each other and then Lucius finds out that Ginny is pregnant and she does not even know yet.
Good chapter- it was as climaxed as others but was still informative. It was touching that both Severus and Lucius had provided for the ones that they love. It truly shows how the men have grown over the years.
The scene at Bella's grave was heart wrenching - when he kept calling her is beautiful girl - it just pulls at you. I loved the Severus and Hermione part where he begged her at the end to get as far away as she could while she told him she could not leave him. Love is in the air and that is what it will take to help bring down the Dark Lord.
Good chapter - loved how Bella turned on Voldemort and saved Neville - I do wish that she had lived. Such a shame that she only found redemption to die. I liked the whole Lestrange turn - it was good that he threw his lot in with Severus to go after the Dark Lord - his days are numbered.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
I don't think her saving Neville would have had the same impact had she lived. I wanted her to find the error of her ways, and I wanted Rodolphus to have that final push.
Confessions - confessions and naughty ones too ... LOL. I loved the turning of his death eaters against him slowlyone at a time. Poor Neville - I wonder what will happen.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
There is definitely some desention in the ranks.
Well both Lucius and Severus found out that their secret is know by the paramours. Lucius carrying Ginny up the stair - the next chapter is probably going to be heated. Severus's reaction was true to form and I figured when he yelled it was going to go downhill but was glad that you wrote the calm to that arguement. Good job.
I will start with the end - oh what a way to get rid of someone - turn him into a chair and then use him as firewood - ewwww. Good idea for the story though. Ginny and Hermione - what a scene with Severus - she will not be able to hide what she saw. I wonder how it will all come out.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
I'd say he got a fitting end. :)
The ending of the chapter was great. Well you cannot say Severus did not warn Antonin. He is a dead man - I would love to see the look in his eyes when he realized that it was Severus. Good chapter.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
Severus gave him plenty of chances to leave. Until the end, when it was too late and he couldn't allow Dolohov to leave.
Almost but not quite - Lucius and Ginny almost got the first kiss but oh well the Dark Lord always interfers. What Lucius said to Ginny - wow what a statement for a man to make - so sexy and romantic. It shows his interest in her is truly above board. Then Severus as the polyjuiced potion master - Voldie is getting weeded out and his does not even know it - LOL
Good chapter - at least Ron got to see Lucius in a different light. Ginny prepared him an excellent meal and men do love that. The intimate moments between Hermione and Severus show the progression of their feelings - good way to progress all of them.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
It was important for Ron to really see the change in Lucius.
I am not sure Ginny will take to receiving a book from Lucius without freaking out because well look at the last book she received. I wonder how Hermione and Ginny will respond to finding out about Severus and Lucius. Interesting...
Good work- it was funny in a dark way that the Death eaters apparated right into the firing range at West Point. You perfectly show Voldemort's madiness in all of his killing of his loyal followers. Great plan with the furture polyjuice of Severus into someone else to get him back into the ranks to spy.

I don't think JKR portrayed Voldemort as nutty as I think he might have become.
Good story - Draco confessing who he loves and Lucius admitting to his affair with Severus years ago. The whole scene with Hermione was great - good passion. Then the feelings that Lucius felt for Ginny. Oh you know how to weave a good tale.
