I'm glad they have that kind of relationship now. So Lucius is starting to have feelings for Ginny. And she, him. I wonder if they will realise it.
I'm glad that they have such a good friendship. They need that right now. What a great way to get Ginny into the picture. Seamus is a git.

I've never liked Seamus as a character.

I don't think their behavior is strange. They are finally seeing what a crazy freak Voldermont is. I just wonder what they will do about it. Which side each will take,

I figured at some point there had to be some Death Eaters who just had to think he was totally nuts!

Could Bella change her mind too? I hope so.

Well Narcissa is gone now. And Lucius is going to be so lonely now. Voldiebutt so needs to get what's coming to him.

Yes, but at least in the end Lucius knew he was still loved by her.

Why is like doctors, potion master never like to take their medicine? And the rest of us have to take it and not whine about it. Not fair. The big baby, Severus. Voldiebutt is an ass, Just because Lucius didn't come right back he has to die. Well at least Narcissa finally showed her true colors. And is willing to die for him and protect Draco too. Awesome chapter.

LOL, I think maybe doctors know something we don't.
And voldemort is just being his crazy self. He'll get his in the end though.

Wow great chapter. Now Severus is free from under Voldiebutt. Not the war but his service. I'm glad wormed her way into Severus' heart. It's too bad it took him almost dying to see her for what's she is. Oh well at least they have time to grow their relationship now. And poor Lucius has to take up where Severus left off in Voldiebutt's camp. I hope he survivse.

This story has a lot of surprises. I wanted to do something things I've never read in any other fics, so I hope you enjoy this one.

It's about time Lucius got a clue and the way you made him fatherly. Perfect. And Severus, Albus always has looked at him as a son. I hope that whatever this Spells Master came up with doesn't work because Severus and others will be in a heep of trouble.

Aha, you found the last story I wrote. I hope you like this one because it happens to be my favorite next to The Ghost and Mrs. Krum.

Just read the whole thing, and I admit that by the time I was only halfway through I was thinking "Wow, this is a masterpeice." I absolutely loved how you're titles could mean one thing, but then so much more. Whether you did this on purpose or not, the whole story had an irony that was easy to follow in a pleasure-read.I was surprised by how you molded the characters into something that was inherently good, and emboldened. Most won't take this path, and the way you've drwn magic is something completely yours in spirt and love.I also like that, throughout the whole story I knew there was going to be a good ending. All you had to do was pile on sweet, exciting, and fresh tidbits. Too make it fun- and worthwhile. So many times I've been stuck on a story (even one of your own) and thought the whole time "AAG! When will this end! It's so Petty!" But it was not the same with this story. This being the second story of yours I've read, I can't wait to move on to more.Thank You! For those hours of entertainment!~Jordanne

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I'm sorry you didn't seem to enjoy what ever the other story I wrote was, but I'm very happy you enjoyed this one.
I wanted to look at the men this time. So many time and I'm happy I took that approach.
I enjoyed writing this so much, that it was sad to end it, but I had to.
Thanks again for your lovely review and for taking the time to read this.
Overall, a very enjoyable read. You did a nice job portraying Voldemort's growing mania, thus sowing the seeds for his followers to betray him (and I loved that they accidentally attacked a military academy). Good story :)

Thank you. I do appreciate you taking the time to read the entire story. I picture a person like Voldemort growing continually paranoid with the world and people around him. I happy it read well.
Okay, I'm enjoying the story so far, but I'm a little confused. Given that the mark leads to automatic apparition to Voldemort's location, how is it that snape is able to apparate to Malfoy Manor? Did I miss his mark getting removed somehow?A good read, and I'm looking forward to continuing, but that question is driving me crazy!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
Are you talking about how he can get into Malfoy Manor considering the wards up? Lucius is able to keep certain people out, Severus isn't one of the people he wants to keep out.
Response from linlawless (Reviewer)
No, I was talking about him being able to apparate anywhere and not have the apparition take him directly to voldemort. That was the explanation given for why Lucius went when he was called right after Narcissa helped him escape. I didn't really get why Severus's mark wouldn't have been burning whenever Voldemort called all the D-Es, which seemed like it must have happened already.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of A Tale of Two Men)
Ah, okay. I didn't explain it well enough, but in my mind, Voldemort and the mark are connected, physically and mentally. Him believing Severus is dead, in his mind when he called the DE's he'd no longer be including Severus in that, therefore the mark was severed.
