A Slytherin (morgaine_dulac) and a Ravenclaw (star_girl) met through a mutual love of the brooding Potions master. They discovered they enjoyed writing seperately, but thought joining forces could be even more fun. Are they bat-shit-crazy? Well, you'll have to wait and see...

Great chapter - love Morgana taking charge! Even though the soup is indeed getting thicker:-)I'm sort of giving Grinding a second chance - his giving the Draumar necklace is a huge act, so I won't put him in the spineless pile, just the broken-hearted one - love it that he and Morgana have much in common regarding their experiences with the Malfoys. But poor Charis... looking forward to more - please soon! xxx

Thanks again :) xxx
I am well and truly impressed with Morgana! I was hesitant to believe what Grindling was telling her in the lift, but by the end of the chapter I, too, had been convinced.I hope she and Grindling are able to pull off this ruse to fool Narcissa, but how are they going to fool Cissy and yet not break Charis' heart again? How will he convince Charis that he is really in love with her and not going to break her heart again? Will he really be able to guard his own heart from Narcissa's wiles. And what is going to happen to Severus? There are a plethora of confusing and conflicting emotions enclosing all these characters, and I have no clue to where you're headed with them. But I am really excited to think that perhaps Narcissa and Dumbledore just might get out foxed.Great chapter, ladies!Beth

Once again Beth, we thank you for your unwavering and devoted support - it means so much to us and we're so thrilled you're sticking by us. Next update soon!
Ooooh, so very lovely & touching & *pure*! Makes me all warm & mushy--and soooo happy for the two of them--my auntie always told me that one's partner for life needed to be first: *best friends*, 2nd: business partners (it's the Scot in her lol!) and 3rd. lovers (she said the sex always'll come naturally ;-D ) But poor dear Severus... will mercy be given to him on any level... or will canon story line resume it's course on the ill-fated dearheart? must wait and yet I don't want this to end... Lovely, lovely work! xxx

Just as I was about to give over to tears due to the beauty of Charis & Morgana's intimacy and star sister moment's the prophecy's identity revealed--Regulus Black--just brilliant! Bloody brilliant! and now... what the hell is she doing on the Manor grounds--and her Patronus? *going to do a Slytherin slink elsewhere as I can't wait*- hehe! Divine chapter, ladies!

Such revelations for Severus--profound and to the core, and such poignant reverberation that he wishes that they realise their mutual true love beyond friendship and suc a bittersweetness is left regarding him feeling... again... left out... unneeded... Enjoying the path this is winding as well as the mystery of love you're leading us! Rock on, sevs_sisters!! Wonderful, powerful work!!!

Naw, Severus will never be unneeded. He will always be there, in the shadows, ready to step in.

Poor, dear Grindling--lovely moments and chemistry and trust between these two, only to be breathtakingly blown away with the scene between Morgana and Severus--yes, yes, yes! Could feel Morgana breaking through and liberating herself with Severus *perfect, bloody f------ perfect* Thank you!! xxx

First of all, our sincerest apologies for taking so long to reply! Real Life is demanding far too much attention at the moment! Funny how Grindling grew. When we first created him, he was a mere Ministry employee. We love him now, though. Almost as much as we love Severus. Na! Who am I kidding?

The place where Ravenclaws always took comfort and solitude: the library.' This had e tearing up! And the delicious lemony, Snapey goodness-sene has me saying, Merlin's balls, sevs_starsisters, yes, yes, yes! and more, more, more! *taking a deep satisfied sigh* Thank you! (and Miss Charis needs to heed Sev's advice for her and Morgana--speaking of which, can't wait for Sev's jetsetting over to Malfoy manor, maybe Ms Morgana needs some *special* attention too from the Potions master--he is suppose to take care of both his girls *decadent cackle* Lovely, yummy chapter, as always!xxx

Will probably never again be able to enter a library without a silly grin on my face... or exit a library without the urge for a cigarette :P

'As if there would ever be a grave wide enough to bury Lupin’s fat arse, he thought viciously. He very much disliked the fact that his girls had taken such a liking to the werewolf.' I was already chuckling (which I never knew how to do before this), and giving a verbal 'HA!' more and more as I read through the delicious scenes with Sev & Filch, and Slughorn, but I almost did an Adriannofthe hills, and pee in my knickers, at the point of reading the above! Can't wait for the 20th, Sev in *action* one way or another--in any way! Wonderful, lovely detailed-rich chapter - yum!xxx

Betelgeuse... *swoon* yes, what is it with Ravenclaws and the constellations-- lol! Lovely segue from the garden into the bedroom... I don't know, Grindling's got me soooo *confused*- hahaha! Great work, ladies! There's no easy side to take, no one's quite at fault--just very, very, irresistibly huma-- so my heart's beating fast and palms sweating--can't wait for more! xxx

Awww, poor Charis, it's so frustrating, but she handled old Phineas very well, as well as the Potions Master... perhaps she could seek out Andromeda? Although this particular blood-traitor has been perhaps too far removed to have any useful information? What a conundrum! Love it--and I'm enjoying Charis coming into her own, her strengths shining through--wonderful twists and layering on, ladies! xxx
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
We like to think that Charis has grown up quite a bit and won't be intimidated so easily anymore, neither by portraits nor by Potion masters.

Oh gods, a male Seer - oooh so delicious and brilliant... I'm trying to be good... and loyal... only to Sev in this story but you ladies are making this hard as hell.- igads - the library ending and the memories of Charis' & Snape's rendez-vous' there... the image of her having a blondie on her one side and her dark one on the other... I think we'll have to start a SS/Charis & Grindling FB group soon! Lots of love! xxx

Mmmm... wonderful, love the Draumar and the Prophecy and Severus being lured in - hehe! Enticing Prophecy and our mystery man Grindling becoming even more unbearably, squirmingly intriguing and Charis being deeper and deeper woven in with him... Poor Severus ... xxx
