A Slytherin (morgaine_dulac) and a Ravenclaw (star_girl) met through a mutual love of the brooding Potions master. They discovered they enjoyed writing seperately, but thought joining forces could be even more fun. Are they bat-shit-crazy? Well, you'll have to wait and see...

Reviews for Shooting Stars
This is a nice analysis of Morgana's feelings. Specially since she's always so reluctant to let them show. One little detail: since the Order is a secret society, how could she know Moody and Tonks were in it? She probably read JKR . I actually thought Morgana would meet Snape and something interesting between them would happen. We'll wait for the following chapters.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
The girls already had dinner with half of the Order at Grimmauld Place. Someone didn't keep their mouth shut, probably Tonks, hehe. And Dumbledore trusts Morgana and deliberately showed her glimpses of the order, because of his future plans...The big-nosed one will be making an appearance though, do not fret. Thanks again for your support :)
You really take advantage of the Harry Potter world making proper use of magic. You have managed to build up an optimist atmosphere for both girls, knowing it's just about to be shattered. I understand Snape's rage. However, c'est la guerre! You can't put your personal wishes before the community's best interests at war times. It takes someone as cold and calculating as Dumbledore to know that. Beautiful chapter!

Thanks Crystal! *hug* Hope you continue to enjoy it :)
I am so happy that Morgana and Charis can talk to each other with the two-way mirrors now. They still have some awkward moments between them, but I hope as time goes on they will come to completely trust in their friendship once again. Merlin knows, they will need each other before all is said and done.Silvy is as dear as she has always been, and I adore the way she looks out for Miss Morgana. Her trust in Severus as an ally is a very good thing, and I liked how she was able to tell the truth and still not let Morgana know that Severus had been the one to give her the birthday present. Priceless!I understand Charis' nervousness at being called to work early to help set the Department of Mysteries to rights. With everything that happened to her and Morgana during the previous school year, I think she has every right to feel anxious. My heart goes out to Severus, too. He now finds himself in the dangerous position of being in the service of two different but equally ruthless masters, and insuring that "his girls" would come to no harm from the machinations of these masters. That sucks! And I'm certain he will be ready to curse said masters many times in the coming months. I hope he can pull off this feat of protecting the girls without either master becoming wise to what he is doing. But it's going to be a difficult time for him and his girls. Thanks for this great chapter!Beth

First of all, let us apologise for the delay in getting back to you. We have had a busy time, and you'll be pleased to know we've finished the next few chapters! We're also tremendously grateful and honoured to once more receive one of your beautifully thought out reviews. We love the way that you not just follow our story but connect with it and analyse it. As writers, it really is such a huge reward to have a reader like you. So once again, thank you. We hope we won't keep you waiting too long for the next few chapters!
My poor Slytherins–so lonely, so afraid to love or be loved. What will happen to them? I trust you ladies will find a suitable future for both of them... not necessarily with each other cuz I think Charis and Severus go together like love and marriage. *cough cough*I'm really glad that Severus remained unseen in that dark corner of The Three Broomsticks so he could hear from the girls own lips what had been going on in their lives. I hope Charis remains leery of Grindling. Before beginning on this update I reread the previous chapter, and I still got that same creepy feeling about him. As for Morgana, I still worry about her. She is so melancholy and determined (like her former Head of House) to remain removed from love. If she could only open her heart she might be able to leave the memories of Lucius behind. But as it stands, her warded heart and her new association with Narcissa will just mean more heartache to come. Now this new revelation about Rosmerta's feelings for Severus is a good thing, isn't it? "...she thought that Snape deserved to be loved. She’d love him, if he would let her. But he never would, she knew that very well." Her love for Severus might bode very well for them both finding love and a loving heart in their future. If he won't allow himself to love Charis, perhaps he could still find love with another witch. Hummm... Once again you two master's of the "intriguing plot" have given me more than enough new information to chew on. Well done!Beth

Let us start by apologising for our abscence. As you know, RL has been rather hectic for us both of late and we haven't had the means to respond to your wonderful reviews.
We love that we keep you guessing, all we can really say at this point is that there are plenty more twists and turns to come. Thank you as always for your support - it means more than we can say.
Hey, ladies! Was here & saw the update. Lovely chapter - love the banter between the three, and the clear division of each one's dilemmas Love Severus overhearing their girl talk - hehe! And the poignant reflections of each on the matters of the heart. Can't wait to see what you wonderful ladies do with Grindling - enquiring minds want to know! I'll love anything you do with him *waggling eyebrows* - just hope he's truly not a hundred percent what Sev implies 'nancy-boy'; I don't mind his usage of hair products (much- hehe) & hoping his age=experience is a 'nice' thing for Charis... we'll see. Aww... so sweet & lovely of Sev, his concern for Morgana: hmm... can't wait for more! Fantastic (as always!)!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
As we're a bit slow with answering reviews, you already know what's up. So... thanks for your support! As always.
And we're honoured that you like the story enough to read and review not just once but twice!
Nice to see you ladies back in action!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
It's nice to be back. Hope you'll stick with us :-)
Yay...!!!!!!!The sequel.....:)Love it....Please update more........
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
We're honoured you enjoyed this so much that you reviewed twice We'll try not to keep you waiting too long for the next chapter.
Ooh I am excited to see their story continued! I wish Morgana would tell them all to stuff it, but then there wouldn't be a story now, would there? Can't wait for more!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Morgana would just be the type to tell Dumbledore to put a sock in it, wouldn't she. Stay tuned and find out if she will.
wonderful first Chapter! can't wait for more!~Shannon
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Hope we'll have something new to post soon.
Woo hoo! I'm so glad to see Charis and Morgana back, and a whole new story to look forward to. As usual, Dumbledore is plotting and manipulating to get all of his pieces on the board where he wants them before the first move, and Severus can only do his best to protect his girls.Morgana will have a difficult time of it at Malfoy Manor, and I couldn't believe that Dumbledore intends for her to become a Death Eater. This Albus Dumbledore is easy to hate. How on earth will Severus protect her from Voldemort? I feel for Charis, as well. It's a shame that she is being called to work early to help with the damaged Dept. of Mysteries, but perhaps she and Morgana will see each other more frequently when both of them start their new jobs. It's good to see you back with this already exciting sequel!Beth

So great to have you back! We've missed you and your thoughtful reviews so much! All we can say is there is plenty to come, and we hope you'll once again join us for the ride.
I was just wondering a couple days ago if you were going to write the sequel and voila! here it is! Poor Morgana she can't catch a break. If one man isn't using her another one is. Hope she and Charise get together soon. Great start!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Someone has scored O in their Divination OWL!Stay tuned to see what the girls are up to this time.
I think she just did spend time with one who loves her most! And what a good time it was:). I'm so glad Morgana is mentally free of the Malfoys. Love this story, particularly the last 2 chapters. Looking forward to more. Thanks.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
The next chapter should be posted within the next few days, and we're writing on the two more (or was it three?). We're very glad that you are enjoying our story and thank you for your continued support.

I wonder if this Gibbons-man is as straightforward as he seems. Well normally I am swallowing your red herrings so maybe he is a wonderful man withe the best intents

'As if there would ever be a grave wide enough to bury Lupin’s fat arse, he thought viciously. He very much disliked the fact that his girls had taken such a liking to the werewolf.' I was already chuckling (which I never knew how to do before this), and giving a verbal 'HA!' more and more as I read through the delicious scenes with Sev & Filch, and Slughorn, but I almost did an Adriannofthe hills, and pee in my knickers, at the point of reading the above! Can't wait for the 20th, Sev in *action* one way or another--in any way! Wonderful, lovely detailed-rich chapter - yum!xxx

I agreed that it's going to be very interesting. Something tells me that there will be much going on at both parties, and Severus is going to find it nearly impossible to be at both of them. I don't know what you two are cooking up, but I for one can't wait to find out what delicious bit of torture you have planned for Severus and his girls.Well done! Beth
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Torture? Us? We would never ...
Trust us, we're cooking up something very tasty indeed!

Truly a beautiful story. Your original characters are amazing, each is a true gem. I loved the way they gradually discovered their true love for one another. I am glad Severus was able to watch over them and I hope his relationship with them has helped heal him also. Thank you for sharing this amazing story And I hope there will be more someday.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. We, too, hope that we will be able to write part three one day. Until then: all the best to you!
You just have to sit back and enjoy the showdown between Moody and Snape. Go Snape! The "No-Eye Moody"-part made me spit coke in my keyboard xDYou are forgiven for the cliffhanger in the last chapter!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
We hope your keyboard isn't too sticky, and we're glad you enjoyed the fireworks between Snape and Moody. But we can't promise not to have any more evil cliffies *laughs manically*
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Oops! Dunno what happened there! Stupid site :-S
‘It seems to me that while one Order member is home, raging, some others have taken some steps towards each other instead.’ Dumbledore gave several people in the room a meaningful look. ‘I would call that, an evening well spent.’Well, I'll be damned! If I didn't know better (and I don't, really), I would think Dumbledore knew this would happen– that Snape would tell Mad-Eye off, that Mad-Eye would get pissed off and leave, and that everyone else would give Snape his props for telling the Auror off in spades. I'm worried about Morgana and her reaction to seeing Lucius again. She agreed to Dumbledore's request that she go undercover to Malfoy Manor, but how will she be able to do that and keep herself centered enough. Her Peacock Patronus is too weak to protect her. Can she find any memory that is happy enough (and grounded in reality) that can sustain a powerful enough Patronus that she can survive another encounter like that one that happened at Azkaban? I know that Lucius is still in prison, but being at the Manor will surely bring back only thoughts of "bittersweet dreams." ...there had been a time when Charis had nearly seen him lose control, and indeed she had been the very cause of it. Now she wondered if he still thought of their encounters, and whether he was excited by them. If only people knew how much passion lay behind those precise, fussy little buttons... Clearly Charis is still enamored with Severus. I feel sure he still thinks of their "encounters." And I imagine he still kicks himself for becoming so intimate with her, but when all is said and done, I think he holds that memory dearly. I still think he loves her, but there is so much going on he probably won't allow himself to take the time to really cherish those memories... but I think he does keep them close to his heart, if well warded into their own secret place within.Thank you for another breathtaking chapter, ladies! And thank you for having Severus tear into Moody, and for having the other Order members voice their approvals.Beth
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Morgana's Patronus is indeed linked to Lucius at present, and that memory is not strong enough to sustain her, after all she's been through.Severus does think of his encounters with Charis, as much as he feels guilt and self-loathing about them, his attraction to her is undeniable.Thank you as ever for reading and reviewing and making our day :)
Lovely start to your sequel to the Star Sisters. Shakes head and Dumbledore is plotting again and wonder if he is as bad as Lord V after all. Thanks for sharing and am off to read more. Thanks.

Oh, crap. About the only good thing that seems to have come out of the trip to Grimmauld Place, is that Charis now *kind of* knows Severus still harbors some feelings about her!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Yes, she hasn't quite realised it yet...
OMG! If I were Charis, I would have died when Snape made the reference to "that night" in front of Grindling. I did have a feelng, however, that Severus couldn't resist visiting the library just to make sure Charis and Grindling weren't "up to something."Well done, ladies! As usual. Now I'm off to the next chapter.Beth
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
He's jealous, but I don't think he can admit it to himself!
There's something so very sad and beautiful about Snape's inability to say goodbye to these two; it's as though they somehow fill a tiny corner of the yearning chasm inside his heart, providing him a quantum of solace. It's heartbreaking to read, but absolutely in-character for Snape. And finally, the two girls find real happiness together. In many ways, if sevs_starsisters decide not to write for Charis and Morgana again, I think this is a fitting end to the girls' story. As we all know, Snape's story continues dramatically in canon, so there remains the lure of a trilogy! If it includes menage-a-trois as hot as in previous chapters, I suspect I'll have to read it. And I'm sure my "other half" will thank you for that, too! Congratulations on reaching the end of your magnum opus - I've thoroughly enjoyed the ride

Reading the words "absolutely in character for Snape" is a rich reward for what has not always been an easy story to write. We're hoping, time and muses permitting, that a part three might be on the cards (we do have more ideas!) but we wanted to leave it resolved at this stage as part 3 might take a while! We'd like to thank you for your unwavering support of our stories and characters and for your thoughtful and detailed reviews - they really do make it all worth it!

‘The glowing Lion born into the House of SnakesHas repented for the error of his ways. The creature that knows his secretsStill lives in shadows,And only the Raven That was hatched on the lowest branch of the ancient treePossesses the means to ask the questionsThat will bring the answers to conquer the Dark.’Hummmmm... let's see. If the glowing Lion is Sirius Black... and the Raven hatched on the lowest branch is Charis... then the creature that knows the Lion's secrets could very well be Remus Lupin...I'm wondering if Grindling actually was the one who made the prophesy. Could his grandmother have been the seer? If he is the one that made the prophesy, could he have been in a trance when it happened and so might not be aware in the present that he had done so? There are so many twists and turns that it could have been any one of those scenarios.I have to tell you that Tarnish & Sully is the perfect name for a cheap jewellery shoppe. Well done, ladies!Beth
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Some interesting theories there Beth, but of course we cannot reveal any of our secrets yet! Hope you're still enjoying the story and thanks as ever for your support!
Interesting! Charis is involved in something even she doesn't know about, apparently. More, please!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
We promise we're hard at work writing away!
I've been following this story here and there - under the radar, so to speak. And I just wanted to let you know how great this story is! I don't get hooked often on stories that aren't SS/HG - but sometimes that pairing really doesn't make much sense to me and I like to explore other good things. I would hope that Morgana and Grindling can pull the wool over Narcissa's eyes. Charis needs a fighting chance, and I'm glad to see both Morgana and Grindling will give her one. Narcissa, however, is going to be a bigger problem. Once she gets her talons in someone, she usually doesn't let go. So where will that leave Grindling? Will he be strong enough to say goodbye to her finally? And when will Severus come out of the woodwork? Enough voyeurism! Get your woman, man!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Shooting Stars)
Thank you for taking the time to review - it's really good to hear that you're enjoying our story and we're thrilled that you're hooked. There's plenty more twists and turns to come, so please keep reading! Thanks again :)
