I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. Oh, another lovely chapter! My only concern is that Severus doesn't encounter a hymen and he may think that she lied to him. :-) Poor Hermione, all alone for New Years. I'm with her, anxious for school to be back in session! (I'm very much looking forward to the next rehersal! Snape won't be happy then either!) LOL!

Four paragraphs from the bottom, second to the last word. Fetal is spelled wrong. You accidentally added an O between the E and the T.

Ah! That's the spelling that comes up with me using UK English in my Word program. *huge grin* It's a Latin ligature (whatever that really means, eh?) that is supposed to actually have the o and e fused into one letter, but the Word program didn't go that far. LOL I figured, I need all the help I can get with keeping things as Brit-picked as possible without BEING from the UK and without having an actual Brit-picker. It's apparently an older usage, which always seems more wizardish to me... *snort* Those Brits--adding extra letters all over the place! (Not really, but they DO like those extra "u"s...) :D

WoW! Next week in the story is the performance! I can not wait! Even though the play might end there is still the story of Hermione and Severus to tell with the end of school to come too.I really loved this chapter, and seeing the different characters and their traits. We can see the difference in Severus from chapter 1 to now with this chapter.

Happy dances around the room, yay an update! With a little sadness on the side because it appears as if this story is getting close to its end, and while I desperately want to see it finished, I also look forward to every update.Now on to my review . . . I agree with Javotte's review that you have gradually transformed your Severus into this character and that the change was done so smoothly it is believable. I, surprisingly, didn't mind that there was little interaction between our two main players in this chapter. I think Minerva may be overshooting a bit if she thinks AD can repair the damage is actions have caused. I just don't think Severus can or will ever trust him as he once did. Even if AD makes nice and makes it all better I think the damage is done.I am really looking forward to the parents arrival, and find myself speculately on whether or not Severus will be able to build on his friendship with Hermione's parents during their visit. While I await your version of the story I am developing this picture in my mind of Severus sharing dinner in the great hall with Hermione and her family rather than sitting with the staff. I figure you could get away with this scenario because of the time Severus spent with her parents during his stay at their home. (wishful thinking or clairvoyance?)On a side note, you always get the most out of a review from me, most stories just get the "good job" or "love it" review, but I feel like you have put so much of your time and energy into this epic fic that you just deserve a genuine thought out response. This is not to say other authors are slacking, but I think it is safe to say you have given me the most as far as fanfic goes.As always great chapter, can't wait for more.

Re: the change in Snape's character-- I can't tell you how pleased I am that people find the transformation and growth to be believable. I try so hard for that plausibility and logical progression that it warms the cockles of my heart that it comes through the way I intend. *beams*
Re: AD''s and Snape's rift-- I think that the question isn't whether one can forget, but whether one can forgive and move forward, even with that transgression never-to-be-forgotten between them.

In light of the revelations of DH, I must admit: YOU WERE RIGHT, AND I WAS WRONG ABOUT DUMBLEDORE!
Oh, but he's a twisty, arrogant old bastard. At least he realizes it, and won't accept the kind of power that being Minister For Magic would bring him, but in the alternative universe of Phantom of Hogwarts he doesn't see the connection between that kind of thing and what he's doing to Severus. He really CAN'T be trusted with power, can he?
Good chapter. I wanted to re-read before going on to the most recent. Good job, as always.

I like the "realness" of the rift between Dumbledore and Snape, some stories make it seem too unreal - I also like how it's taken a while for Severus to open up to Minerva, it's more characteristic of him to do it that way than in other pieces I've read. Keep up the good work! ;)

I wonder about the cloistered Severus suddenly having to take care of, not only himself outside the realm of Hogwarts, but also Hermione. Sure, he's had many years to acquaint himself with the world of Muggles, but it would seem that he hid himself away in the magical world once he left home. He'll have to put up with a much more scrutinized life in the Muggle neighborhood … nosey neighbors peeking out windows, the curiosity of the dark man having such a young lovely wife? Maybe some of those neighbors were kids there when Sev was a child!
Poor Lucy and Ed, having to pick up and move off at their age! Maybe their Rob can find them a nice little place near him …I’m sure he’d love having mum and da living close again.
And then there’s Albus. The man really does have to learn when to cut the apron strings. Also, I should say, another good chapter. Thanks!

Love it. Love it. Love it. I actually cried when Severus was describing his experience with the house to Hermione. I wonder if Dumbledore will come through with a job for Severus as attonement or will hamper any attempts he makes. There is so much going on here. I just can't wait for more!!!

Oh my! I just loved that line of Harry's "gives more meaning to Professor Snape saving our necks." That was brilliant! Way to go! Is it just me or are your chapters getting shorter and shorter? ::arches eyebrow and demands an extra fifteen inches next timethat is, to be handed in by Monday. Understood?::

The chapters are varying, but not particularly shorter. This one was over 7800 words. :) Some earlier chapters didn't even hit 4000. LOL But, as you've noticed, I'm sure, some things require more written to deal with them than others. About those inches you wanted... I think Severus may have at least half of what you require. *snerk* Thanks again for reviewing! :)

Gods, I am so excited to be reading a new chapter. I have only started reading it, so my review is quite premature, but I just can't help wondering if Dumbledore is going to feel justified in the end when he learns what Snape and Hermione have been up to all year . . . and I wonder if McGonagall will be able to stay on Snape's side? So much potential for good, hard-core drama! Loving it!
