I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. I am happily married and (thankfully) have NO kids. I love inexorable Dumbledore, stalwart Hermione, and fuming Snape! I particularly like how the exposition was woven through the narrative in a way that didn't shout EXPOSITION HERE as some stories do.
I think my favorite part was the second to last paragraph, where Snape is studiously ignoring certain facts while heading off to drink himself into forgetfulness about others.

Oh, what a delightful twist to put the Sorting Hat in charge! I really like this, because not only does it add a dimension of reality to the characters, but it is a believable reason why someone as reluctant as Severus would feel completely compelled to participate.
Excellent! On to the next chapter!

Wow! That was amazing! But I can't believe Dione came on to him! What a horrible mum! I would be super pissed if I ever found my mum hitting on someone like that, even if I wasn't dating him!

Awww yay! I'm so glad you use this site as well as Ashwinder... otherwise I would have to deal with the fact that it says you've updated but yet it won't let you read the chapter!*Grin* Loved it! Although my heart ached with the pain they Severus and Hermione are going through... I feel so sorry for them... and can definitely adentify with Hermione having to deal with couples all around and not being about to be with her love. *Smile*I look forward to the next update!

OH that "RL" - some days I wish to skip it and read all the fanfic I wanted but alas I have a husband who works 2 full time jobs so I can stay home and tend to the 2 little ones. So its only fantasy time when kids are in bed. lol
just wanted to check in and see how you were doing. if phantom ever comes around again i think hubby might take me to see it since he's been reading this...

Phew! Good thing that those two can find some time to each others, even if only to share a kiss. Four months still?! How on Earth will they last so long? This is how you recognise writer's talent. Another great chapter! I was nearly as excited (and nervous) about the performance as the cast themselves were! LOL! I can't believe Mrs. Granger's audacity! I'm wondering what Snape and Hermione are going to do now? And now the one performance is out of the way, I am much more nervous about the next one! I can't wait for more of this compelling story =)
