I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. I am happily married and (thankfully) have NO kids. Love the smilies. LOL ;) I've seen couples in which one person is a flirt and it doesn't really faze the other, since their relationship is solid. That's what I see with the Grangers. Still, it IS awkward for poor Severus! LOL Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
I am soooooo happy to see an update to this magnificient story!!! Yet another brilliant chapter, your writing and plot is so amasing, I love it. Poor Severus, being the subject of his future mother-in-laws affection is shaking his world:-) I can understand that Hermione is disturbed by her mothers actions, not that her mother knows Hermione and Severus is an item, but even if he had only been her teacher, it would have been disturbing to see your mother act like that, not to mention do so in front of your father. Your description of the play, it was as I almost were there, it was brilliant. I am going to say update soon, but I will wait for how ever the time it takes to see this story completed:-)) (And there is way to few stars to give, this story deserves at least 10. )

OMG! Excellent chapter that was much needed.
I can't believe Mrs Granger, she is such a floozy. Fancy waiting until her husband had gone before practically throwing herself at Severus. Ooooh I can't wait til Hermione finds out about that. Watch out for fireworks that's all I can say.

Um, ok...so... I? *heart you* With the force of a thousand firey suns. Severus' reaction to Mrs. Granger is downright hilarious, though of course I do feel for our put-upon professor. Also, I love the exchange between Snape and the Headmaster: " Snape gazed at him a beat longer, then said coolly, “I learned from the best.” With that, he Disapparated backstage again, leaving Dumbledore to bear the sting of that barb." Just brilliantly caustic and cutting. Another fabulous chapter and I can't wait to see what Severus and Hermione say to each other after their experience with the Grangers!

Oh, my goodness! The lil cougar!
I do so hope Hermione's mother finds out about the couple by walking in on them. Serves her right. It is one thing to have a silly crush, but to throw herself at him like that! It was humorous until she waited for her husband to leave before putting the moves on another man.
Wonderful update, and just as I was wondering how much longer it would be. I'm glad they got through the performance well, and I can't wait for Hermione to go questioning Severus about his bout of nerves.

Hehehe, yeah a "cougar". In California that is what we call the older women who dress and act like they are in college, specifically going after younger men and being a bit promiscuous about it. Or any woman who is dating a significantly younger man.
Think Barbara Hershey and Naveen Andrews. Or Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.

This is without a doubt my favorite story in this entire archive. I've been keeping up with this story for over 2 years and it just gets better and better! I can't wait for the next update. I wonder just what Minerva will have to say to poor highly underdressed Severus. I definitely laughed out loud at the end of this chapter.Quick question though...just how long is this story? It's definitely one of the longest I've ever read on an archive.Awesome work! Love it!

I've gotta say, this chapter felt highly incestual with Harry & Hermione, acting like that :S Hope there's not too much of that coming up or I might have to just skip those bits completely lolSorry!But nonetheless I love the concept of the story & I hope we have some Sev/Hermione action not too far away!xx

First, welcome to the story! :) As for Harry and Hermione feeling incestuous, I think you hit the nail on the head, but it'll take a bit more for them to figure that out. BUT, they will not last long and then the HG/SS revs up. LOL Thanks so much for reviewing! :)
You do realise that leaving the story here is like taking the pleasure away right before release. 
Guh... oh well. I'll just have to wait for more. But I must say, that I practically pay tribute to this story every month. Honestly mydear, I've read plenty of romance novels, and this story of yours by far takes the proverbial Romance cake! Keep up the brilliant work please, I don't want to have to get violent.

it's about time that he started thinking practically about the almost CERTAIN inevitability of his being forced to quit his teaching position and plan his 'exit strategy' of a place to live and career options. Why didn't he plan that stuff out sooner?

Yup, a kickstart in the right direction... part of the delay in getting this chapter done was doing the research on renting in the UK, since I have never been there and have no idea how it all works there. LOL At least he has a new direction to focus his attention now (and to hopefully stop totmenting himself with the "chemistry"). Thanks as always for reviewing! :)
