Hermione, Ginny and Luna, sharing a girl moment, decide to cast a Pairing-Plight Troth Charm on themselves for fun. Each placed in the cauldron one yesterday-today-and-tomorrow flower with sugar and spice and everything nice, and a snip, a snail and puppy-dog tail as they each said the rhyme. For Ginny, the results are exactly what she expected, and for Luna, she was only mildly surprised. However, for Hermione, the results were disastrous! She thought she’d be paired to Ron and live happily ever after. So what happened and why is she seeing Professor Snape in her dreams? He’s dead – isn’t he?

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

This is a good chapter! And that was very good jail sex!Hermione will fight for him,and I think after he gets out of jail it would be a good idea for them to live togeather,There never going to get everything figured out if they don't spend more time togeather.I would also like to see a little Severus as well, but I guess thats pushing it tilll the end of the story.I hope you can update soon.

Thank you very much. Yes, they will have to spend time together in order to get to know each other - but I have a tweak written in order to have that happen... and yes, I keep promicing a romance and there will be a kid - but yes, a few chapters away yet...
Interesting dilemma she's putting him in! Either he accepts the bonding that he didn't want AND stand up for himself which he obviously considers beneath his dignity, or he gets the anullment at the cost of admitting to be a coward and staying in Azkaban.Poor Severus doesn't really have much of a choice, does he?Interesting about the anullment though. Hermione didn't know it was possible, but Severus did. And even though he was so vehemently opposed to the Bonding, he never once mentioned it to her or asked her for it. He didn't even petition for one himself. I believe he should think about that. I think he'd be surprised at what he'd discover.(Couldn't she have beaten Ron over the head with the newspaper though? Just a little bit? Instead of shouting...)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Ah, yes his delima... wait till you see who visits him next! TeehehehYes Severus is more aware of the ways of the wizarding world than she is - being Slytherin and being around purebloods. However, it's more like a Papal discompensation than a true annulment and there would always be a tie between them - I'll explain that later. (remember the furious fathers whose daughters performed the charm and were matched with 'inapproperate wizards'?In regards to having Hermione hit Ron with the paper - he was on the other side of the table, closer to the door and Harry and Ginny were trying to intervene... Thank you for the reveiw. I appreciate it.
Poor Rita shes the gal you can't help but cheer on even though you know shes nothing but a bettle!I know that Severus will come around and he will always do evry thing he can to protect Hermione!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I need Rita for a while - so yes, I'm playing arond with her. I think you've got this a bit backward sort of... Hermione will do everything for Severus - for now. Thank you for the reveiw.
Please let them see each other in person in the next chapter!Love the story so far.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh sorry in chap 11, not 10... Hermione goes to the Ministry in chap 10. But good news Rita visits Severus in chap 11 too! You've that to look forward to!
I can't wait till Severus finds out that Hermione is the one who did the spell. The dreams are good,I can't wait till thay see each other in the flesh!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. Things get exciting when he does... and turn completely of kilt! Hope you enjoy it! Thank you for reviewing.

Absolutely! Thank you very much.
Oh that was good!I love it when Sevrerus keeps telling Hermione that shes his, that sends shivers up my spine.I can't wait to see what happens when everyone finds out who Hermione is bonded to.The sparks will fly!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh yes they will - loads of troub-ble brews up! Hope you enjoy it! Thank you for reveiwing.
That was good!we all know that Hermione should have been with Severus in the books.I can't wait to see what happens when thay meet in person.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. Yep, I agree! reality hits in chapter 4! enjoy!
Brilliant! I was expecting angry lemons, but that was so much sweeter. Hopefully Hermione's harsh words have shaken Severus up enough to snap him out of the funk cycle.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. Nope - could have been angry lemons, but he realized she was telling him the truth - she didn't turn him in. However, not so sure he believed teh rest of what she was telling him... you'll see...
This has all the right ingredients - angry and bitter Severus who shags like a demon, feisty Hermione, wanker Ron, supportive Kingsley, sensible Ginny and coming-around Harry. A certain beetle deserves to be stepped on!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. If this si your list for a good chapter you're gonna be thrilled yet again with my next two chapters... Thank you very much for the review.
Calling Skeeter evil would be understating things. Hermione is fantastic and it's going to be so fun when Ron gets what's coming to him! Another great chapter!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I don’t know if evil is the way I see Rita, conniving, intrusive, invasive meddlesome and annoying – oh yes! She’s a gossip reporter and likes stirring up trouble. Hermione isn’t going to turn all Death Eater on Ron… but yes, she’s due to blow up at him. Thank you for the review. I appreciate it very much.
I don't believe in coincidences--the panties are important n'est pas? Great story!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
The fact that Severus wanted them will be... you'll see. Thank you for the reveiw.
Hmm... so did he treat her tenderly simply to get what he wanted - a little action - or was he actually (secretly) happy to see her? I like that she put him in a right state when she left. That should get him going. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
We're talking about Severus Snape here! Yes, he was more tender with her. He had no idea if this would be the last time he'd get any - for a really long time. (He thinks his in for life after all!) I think he was surprised to see her, and suspecious as to why until she opened up to him - again - and told him why she was there. And now he's all the time he needs to mull over her visit, to think about and analyze every detail.
that was another exciting installment to this story. i hope severus will be irked enough at the thought of harry speaking for him that he'll decide he needs to speak for himself. it sucks that he thinks hermione turned him in - i hope that situation gets cleared up before long.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. Yes, I think he’s properly irked at this point. But he’ll get irked even more in the next one… In regards to blaming Hermione, he’d read Rita’s article and thought she had… wouldn’t you in his shoes? But I think she convinced him she hadn’t.
I like how she prodded Severus into anger. I hope it works and he agrees to stand up for himself. If only to get some revenge with Ron the pillock.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. Yep, our girl really pushed his buttons this time! Yes, I think she roused him up properly at this point. But he’ll get irked even more in the next one…
I liked this chapter very, very much. The Hermione who takes what she wants is just so much better than the Hermione of the last few chapters...Great work, I'm enjoying this story.gab
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, gab, Hermione is standing up to him and really chastised him regarding his apathy.
Thank you for the review. I’m glad you are enjoying this.
wonderful chapter but hermione forgot ro all smape a wanker lol but i hope he decides to grow a apir and talk to kingsleythank you and good luck with the voting
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. Nope calling Snape a wanker then asking-demanding he stand up for himself... I think she did well enough. Thankyou for the reveiw.
Great chapter! I loved how Hermione turned the tables on Snape.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you.
Thank you for the update. I am glad to see that Hermione finally grew a backboone with regard to Severus. Her parting words about what kind of man she thougth him to be and who she wanted to be bonded to, was absolutely perfect. Let us now just hope that Severus really takes her words to hearth, stop his pity-party, uses his brilliant brain to admit that, yes he does deserve that the truth is told, and he does deserve a life in freedom. For Ron, I hope you will let Hermione keep her new-found backboone in regards to him too. It migth be harsh, but to be honest, also the only thing fair; Hermione has to lay down the law, risking their friendship, and tell Ron that no matter what happens between her and Severus, there will never be anything romanticly between her and Ron, and that he migth very well have ruined several years of friendship by acting like a spoiled brat who didn't get the toy he wanted. I wouldn't mind if Ron was roasted above a open fire, but be fair to him, boys, especially immature boys like Ron, needs the plain, open truth, spoken in words that can't be misunderstood. The only thing to make Ron see that there will never be any Hermione in his romantic future if for her to remove all hope. What for her migth be attempts do salvage a long friendship, will for him easily be signs of hope that if only Severus is gone, the road is open for him. It migth be a though lesson, but it is the only thing that can make Ron grow up and go on with his life. She has to tell him that friendship is all she had to offer, and that his betrayal migth have ruined any friendly feelings she ever had for him. She can't placate him, and by that let a tiny bit of hope linger, she has to cut the apron, forcing him to realise the facts, and by that letting him grow up. Call it though love if you like, but she has to set Ron completly free so he can either chose to walk away or come to terms with the situation.

, wow. Thank you for such a heartfelt review. I really appreciate your thoughts and some of it is exactly what I feel as well. I hope I don’t disappoint with how I plan on unraveling this mess, and the other knot and the kink in the road… but eventually yes. Both Severus and Ron needs the plain, open truth, spoken in words that can't be misunderstood and she will have to be completely honest with them and herself to get what she needs as well.
At least, she's going through to him, she's reaching him. Maybe that time in Azkaban will do their couple a world of good.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, she is breaking into his hard shell around those walls of his! At least this may open is eyes a bit - yes. Thank you for the review.
Argh! I want to take Rita Skeeter and pull off all her wings and legs on at a time! Nasty piece of work.Athough, Ron isn't too far behind her in the bad books. I hope Hermione has managed to motivate Severus to get out of his pity-party and fight for himself.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, Rita is stirring up trouble! If you think you wanna tear her appart - wait till you see what she does in the next chapter!Ron, he's simply still a immature prat. Severus is going to get three more visists in the next two chapters and yes, the self pitying... okay - you'll see!
Regarding Hermione not demanding an annulment. She knows Snape was on their side all along and may feel that if she stays married to him, it will look better for him in court. Thanks for this story, and good luck in the contest.

, Hermione is simply holding out waiting for Severus to 'come around - it will be like in the dreams' like her friends keep assuring her. Also, Hermione isn't the kind to kick someone while they are down.Thank you very much for the review. Win or lose - I'm enjoying writing this story!
Great chapter - I loved how she gave him what for - she hit all his hot buttons - now the question - what will he do?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh, well, he'll .... stew, get a visit or two... Then there is all the legal / investigation stuff... That's as far as I've gotten! Bare with me? I'm typing away here... and working at getting the answer to you!
I can't remember if Severus knows that Rita is an Animagus-beetle, but if he doesn't, Hermione should tell him - it explains how Rita would get info from Won-Won, the Burrow, etc. I do hope Harry succeeds in getting Severus' name cleared soon; Azkaban is dreadful. And what will h appen to the Malfoys for hiding Severus all this time? Thanks for the new chapter!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, Rita has been riding on Darthmyer's robes, was perched on the windowsill when Ron was hovering below it, listening to Ginny and Hermione talking, and I've hinted that she was on the vine at the garden gate when Severus brought Hermione back to the Burrow... She's been a busy little beetle! Oh, she'll get caught! Sorry I have a few chapters to go with poor Sev in Azkaban (good news - no Dementors!) and the results of his investigation-turned trial are a few chapters away... But good news - I've written them out and working on getting them to you! The Rita question comes up, the what's up with they Malfoy's investigation is touched upon, the Daily Prophet articles (Rita again - still need her around for trouble causing I'm afraid) and Ron's still moping about.... hope that's not too much of a spoiler?
Response from June W (Reviewer)
several chapters in Azkaban!! (thud....) isn't there a way to slip him some firewhisky or sleeping draught to help him pass the time quicker? no, wait - more conjugal visits!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Nod, and one from a friend/and not so much a friend, and Rita (yes, I did - hehehe), and....
