Hermione, Ginny and Luna, sharing a girl moment, decide to cast a Pairing-Plight Troth Charm on themselves for fun. Each placed in the cauldron one yesterday-today-and-tomorrow flower with sugar and spice and everything nice, and a snip, a snail and puppy-dog tail as they each said the rhyme. For Ginny, the results are exactly what she expected, and for Luna, she was only mildly surprised. However, for Hermione, the results were disastrous! She thought she’d be paired to Ron and live happily ever after. So what happened and why is she seeing Professor Snape in her dreams? He’s dead – isn’t he?

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein

Interesting chapter - Severus being Slytherin is not so quick to trust them. I liked the latest and cannot wait for more.

Thak you very much. Yeah it's hard to trust when everyone, and I mean everyone he comes in contact with seems to want him there. Hermione aside, it did take both Harry and Kingsley to get through is stubborn Slytherin distrust. Ah, well. Better news to come in the next chapter.

Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Glad you liked it! Sev's trial is the next chapter and although there is - well, kinda not - interaction between the two... You'll see.

Even I know what Harrods is and I am living in the middle of the midwest! Ginny!I think Severus' plea was brilliant & am pleased with Harry's blood money going for good causes!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. I was only playing on how wizards are so clueless on all things Muggle. I wanted to word Severus' plea so that he was at least telling the truth (in case he was slipped Vertiserm in court) and so that I could show remorse. Glad it worked.I couldn't see Harry keeping the blood money - and it's one more way to stick it to old Voldemort. Start up funds for the kid who killed his pet snake!

I love that Harry is using his Tri-Wizard money to invest in a friend's future, again. What a very cool idea that grows so directly from canon.

Thank you very much. That's waht I was aiming for.

I'm really enjoying the story- I particularly like your detailed writing -- I think detail adds depth to the plot. I am also glad that Severus will get out of prison, but I thought it seemed that the process of convining him seemed a bit too drawn-out. He was avoiding the authorities in earlier chapters so they would not catch him, then when they did, he seemed to not care about getting out of prison. Odd...Anyway, I hope he treats Hermione better once he's out. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Thank you very much. Ironically on a callender I'm using for the story outline, it's only a few days and the reason I had him so reluctant to coperate, he didn't want to add anythnig to his charges and he was convinced that they were trying to keep him in not get him out. Harold must have been asking some really odd questions... But yes, Sev will get out. I wouldn't keep him in jail!

I am always happy to see another chatper of this - in this case it was 2, since Real Life's been kicking my butt and I missed the last one. I'm glad to see Snape come around, but wonder what exactly made him change his mind. Thanks for this story. We all want to see Skeeter squashed, figuratively if not literaly.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you for the reveiw. Yep, he's coming around. I suppose a good dose of 'who's your friend' got to him. You're not the only one wanting to squash Rita. I should start a 'who should be the one to do it' contest... hummm.

I love how Severus stated his plea. It shows how much honor he possesses by not taking the easy way out.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
That is one thing I really saw in the man all through the books. He did have honor. And pride. I just couldn't see him not admiting he did do those things, and lie in court saying, "not guilty." At least this way he shows remorse.

Was so excited to see the update! Glad the Severus is finally starting to see some sense! (Though I do get that he did do those things and that he'd feel guilty whether or not society would blame him.)Somewhat surprised that Rita is supporting the Malfoys while being so against Snape. Not that I'm surprised about her supporting the rich or writing flasy, slanderous stories about an easy, high-profile victim (he is behind bars at the moment afterall); but because the Malfoys support Snape... Wouldn't they be upset with her about it too?Eagerly awating the next update!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you for the enthusiastic responce. Yes, he is fianlly coming around, and you'll see how he... Well, that's in the next chapter.Rita is an all around nunsance - no the Malfoys are not talking to her - but that wouldn't stop a bug like her from getting a story, now would it?I just started the clean up process on the next chapter - give me a few days!

I love the way Harry is putting the blood money as he calls it to such good use. I don't suppose Snape would ever agree to accept anything from Harry, let alone a cash gift as a little nest egg to get started on, something to start up Severus' very own research lab? But I'm getting W A Y ahead of things am I not? So for the time being we can all rest a while in the rosy glow of...the sunset (?)(sorry, lost my train of thought...)And Please, somebody step on the bug, and a arrange a blind date for Ron, just to get him out of Hermione's hair.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Good gads someone took a peek at my outline? *kidding* Yes, I couldn't see Harry wanting to keep the gold, even the second time around.Severus won't need a nest egg.Bug still needed, and yes, Ron will get a girl - eventually! Thanks for the reivew! Nope you're wrong about a few things here.

i'm glad they convinced severus to be reasonable. quite an accomplishment! i'm always amazed by the care you take to be accurate with every detail of your story. i suppose there are people who might be checking dates of full moons and such, but lord knows i'm not one of them! and the banner is lovely and suits your story very well.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Ok, you are going to laugh. For each story I write I actually look up the insects/animals/plants. I have a long list of Herbology going in my 'information' folder. I keep a calendar for each year as pertains to my story with the moon phases. and I do bounce on the internet if I'm adding in a fact or detail so I get it right. Just in case anyone checks. *blushes*I'll pass on to SW that you like her banner as much as I do. Thank you for the review.

At last Severus is willing to allow others to help him get out of jail. I see Ron is still very bitter. I swear all that character ever does is pout.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, Severus is gonna let others help him. and I know I have a sulking Ron, but in the books his not too much better - esp DH - always whinning!

Cool. Harry has a minor knack for investments, so I'm expecting big things from Neville. I've also got all applicable appendages crossed for Sev's case. Hopefully once freed he will come to appreciate Hermione and they can shag like rabbits. ;)

Geeze - Severus is going to need this support to get him there! Don't cross your toes! My Granny always said that was unlucky!

I'm so glad MadBrilliant could help you out. She's such a sweetheart!I really liked how Harry will keep rotating the thousand galleons. That is very big-hearted and a wonderful way to keep Cedric's memory alive, that he didn't die for nothing. Can't wait for the Hermione/Snape reunion!Livvy
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, she was really nice to help pick this story up. Thank you for sharing. Actually, I couldn't see Harry wanting to keep the Galleons when George paid back the start-up loan. and yes, it's a trubute to a wizard who was good, honest and true, and fierce friend.

Ooooh, i just wish they would sqaush that dreadful bug once and for all! I volunteer if no one else will!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh yes, I have several volunteers. Let's wait and see what Severus/Hermione/Kingsley do first...
This just goes to show how much money does for a person. Lucius prolly did more evil little things than Severus ever did, but gets to live his time in the comfort of his own home. So not fair. Now, if they can just get Severus to cooperate in his own defense...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Real life isn't fair. Somehow the Minsitry feels that wandless and under manor arrest is equivelent to Azkaban. grrrr.Yep, eventually... Thank you for the review.
can't wait to see what happens next
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Kimbe73, I'm working at getting it out to you!
Whoooweee... Come on, Severus! Get a clue, Man! Don't be so bloody stubborn!!! (Yippee...I love this story! You are doing a fabulous job!)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. He's just wallowing and being stubborn. I have a bit planned for him and a few surprises. Thank you so much for the compliment - you just made my day!
