The need to survive is ingrained within the human psyche, but where does self-preservation end and self-destruction begin? Hermione is captured by Death Eaters and is held hostage by Snape and Pettigrew, but she comes up with a plan to escape. Not a romance.

Right. I would like to state, for the record, that I WILL finish "She Married Her Choice". I will. Assuming I am in control of my own destiny and accomplishments, that is. ;-)
Unfortunately, real life (mainly an attention craving three-year-old) and inspiration have been keeping me from creative endeavors for a while now. I do foresee a time when that shall pass, but until then, I ask for your patience.
Thank you!

*thumbs nose* Neener neener, you mean vicious prat, now comes YOUR time for torture.Poor Herms, though. She's going to be pretty messed up if she survives this.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Heeheeehee!
*sigh* Yes, if she survives she's going to be royally screwed up.
Yes, finally. Well I know it's not a love story, but ss acted like he cared in this one. Maybe it is all a ploy, I wonder if he will give her back to wormtail or demand that they not have sex anymore
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Next chapter will answer your questions. Thanks!
So much for Snape's indifference. Despite the fact that she still does not know where his loyalities lie, perhaps this will provide her the assurance she needed. The dynamics of the household have changed.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Perhaps. It all depends on how he reacts in the morning, don't you think? But yes, no matter how he reacts, the dynamics of the house are forever changed.
Well. Hot, very hot. But not how I expected him to approach this. I think he got too vulnerable. But if there is more to come, I'd like see it!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
No, I expect not. Wait until next chapter, though, before you judge his actions. ;-)
Wow. wow wow wow. I've been reading this all along and liked it, wonderingabout the motiviations, the possiblities, etc, but this chapter. is just....very very good. Thanks for sharing it.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Thanks!
In a way, I'm glad of this development. I hope it will bring Hermione some comfort for times to come. How ironical it is that she had, somehow, ensnared those two men. I liked how Snape explained betrayal. I believe it can begin like that. It still doesn't explain where his loyalties lay.
Response from septentrion (Reviewer)
Sorry to spam your reviews, there has been a bug when I've posted my review, thought it was in the limbo, and so I resent it ... twice.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
No problem. I uploaded this chapter twice because of the same thing. ;-)
Hopefully it will bring Hermione some comfort, but then again, it could just mess her up further.
Response from septentrion (Reviewer)
Well, she can't be more messed up than she is now, so I think she deserves a bit of comfort, wherever it comes from.

Wow. The tension between Hermione and Snape is so intense. He stops watching her in the shower now that he wants to watch. In the words of Wormtail, Snape is like that.
Close to what? Oh, now I really need to know what Snape has been up to when he is summoned...
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Or does he stop because he knows she wants hm to? He is like that. Thanks!
THIS should get interesting...there's definitely a potential for a jealousy dynamic now. Hermione needs to start thinking like a Slytherin if she's going to escape Snape. Would a Slytherin girl think twice about using sex as a weapon? I doubt it...it's probably one of the first tactics she would try!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Yes, there is. There's also potential for everything to blow up in Hermione face. Figuratively speaking, that is. Hermione thought twice about using sex as a weapon, but she still went ahead and used it against Wormtail. But Snape is a dangerously intelligent man. Trying to out smart him is not trivial, and Hermione hasn't exactly been herself lately... Is she up for it?
Excellent. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Well, you won't have to wait long. This afternoon or evening at the latest! :-)
Oh what a teaser! Close to what? Potion experiments? Sevie discovering he has a heart? Wormtail's death? Lol to mean. Ok I will impatiently wait for next installment...... You go girl.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Heeheehee! At least you won't have to wait very long. ;-) Thanks!
What? That's it! I wanted more - lots more!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Heheheheh. Next chapter is coming up quick.
I hit on this story quite by chance – and now I am hooked! Geeze!!! This story just gets to you! I love the indifferent cruel Snape – except every now and then you throw in a twist or a complete backlash! Update soon I’m dying to know how this ends – but be sure to make it last a lot more chapters. You’re a great author.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Thank you!
Wow interesting twist, as usual your story rocks. You are probably tired of hearing from me lol. I have to tell you this story is interesting as heck.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Why would I be tired of hearing from you? Thank you for letting me know!
Oooh.. Delicious! Great scene. I love how Snape is "indifferent" but then lines come in like "but she broke it when she noticed his tongue darting out to lick his lips." So good. Please update soon!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Heheheh. Thanks! Next update today (or tinight)!
Whoa. Can something seem really strange and really inevitable at the same time? And for the first time Snape sounds a wee bit off-balance. The twists and turns are getting addictive.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Yes, I think so. We don't really know is this is the first time he's felt off balance or not, since part II was devoid of his thoughts. ;-) Thanks!
UGHHHHHHHHHH now I will have nightmares UGHH GAGGG.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Sorry. :-)
Ouch... That was like giving a crumb of food to a starving man... Even Hermione got more crumbs than that ;)
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Yeah. But who was giving who the crumb?
Okay, so you continue to torture your readers. What did we do to you to so hate us? It there a secret link? MORE!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Sorry. It's not completely on purpose. Honest. I think I've been very good, actually, making sure there are updates every day for this part. And, continuing that pattern, the next chapter will be up later today.
ohhhh what could this all mean???? And now I'm beginning to wonder what Hermoine is thinking allowing herself to even feel pitty for Wormtail. I'd have stabbed him with his own wand. When is Snape going to do something? Holes, holes, holes. Fill in the holes!!! LOL!!!!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Hermione is sick, literally. Stockholm Syndrome is an illness, and she's got it bad. We're getting to the filling of holes part. ;-) Thanks!
Hmmm. Harry must be doing "something right"? What does that comment mean? The gray areas are getting grayer and grayer. You're really ratcheting up the ambiguity, aren't you? :)
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Good question (your comments are so wonderful, btw! I wish there was more I could respond to without giving away the game). Thank you!
They made Voldemort believe that they were torturing Hermione, didn't they? In the meanwhile, Harry destroyed one Horcrux, probably. Perhaps Hermione's freedom will come sooner than she expects. I'm afraid that freedom will cost her a lot, too much.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Well, they kind of are torturing Hermione, just not using whips and chains (or the magical equivalant). "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose..."
Is she forgetting her plan? Focus girl! I assume Potter is destroying the Horcruxes and that is making the Dark Lord a little angry. I have no idea what to think about Snape.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
No. She's biding her time, proving her affection and her trustworthiness. I suspect the Horcruxes are involved in Voldie's anger, but that's not something that's ever going to be discussed with Hermione.
Good. :-) Thank you!
Curiouser and curiouser. Looking forward to the next update! :-)
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
Yah. Tomorrow comes the start of the climax. ;-)
Response from beletseri (Reviewer)
Oh goodness! I'm so excited now! Yay!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Traitor)
