Fred and George Weasley’s troublemaking careers didn’t start the day they reached Hogwarts. In fact, they had been honing their mischief-making talents for years with the help of a feisty little Muggle girl named Annie Jones from Ottery St. Catchpole. Their secret friendship continued even after the twins began leaving for Hogwarts, as the children kept in touch via owl post. It deepened into something more as teenagers, when George and Annie discovered an attraction to each other that they couldn’t resist. Their love struggles to survive one of the most trying times in the magical world – the Second War – and its devastating consequences. A happily-ever-after awaits them… eventually. Rating and warnings for later chapters. In this chapter, seven-year-olds George and Fred make an interesting acquaintance in a bowtruckle-infested oak tree, and a friendship is born.

I'm a bored but happy stay-at-home mom to two little boys (ages 12 and 6). My friends and family think I'm the biggest HP geek, but I know better since I've discovered fanfiction!
I'm very excited to be releasing original works of fiction! My first novel, Old Enough to Know Better, is about a fanfiction writer who falls for an actor who plays her favorite fictional character. It's a fun, steamy, dramatic contemporary romance. Desert Menage Trilogy follows the three main characters as they initiate a loving, lasting triadic bond (including Nine Dates, Tri Me, and Wholly Trinity). The Footmen is a futuristic menage romance set in a grim gynocracy. I also write a paranormal suspense/romance series about a young girl gifted with ESP. Brimstone and Portents are the first two books.
All my books are available in both e-format and paperback on Amazon. If you're interested in learning more about these and other upcoming releases, including reading excerpts, please visit my website and sign up to receive future newsletters.

Annie is handling the fact of Charlie's sexuality verywell. She's kind and supportive, and I'm sure it willmake a great difference to Charlie and Sasha's liveswhen they can come out and be honest with everyone.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! It's always nice to know you've got support, no matter what.
Oh, my goodness, you had me worried there!I like the idea of getting them a house-elf. Around here, daycare isn't allowed to run with more than 5 kids per grown up.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Annie does have at least one other (magical) adult with her at the school every day - the other mothers/grandmothers rotate one day a week in exchange for "free" childcare. But Winky will be a valuable addition.
Ah, sigh. I've been remiss reviewing but I've loved every chapter. Looking forward now to hearing more about Charlie :o)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you, dear. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've posted about half of Charlie's story now, so there's still plenty more to come :)
Oh my gosh. I want more! I want to see them reunited in Heaven. I want to see when Charlie and Sasha get there too. I think the end was too vague on what happened to all the other Weasleys.Signed,

Thank you! I really loved writing this story. I'm so glad you enjoyed reading it. <hugs you>

they filmed the beach scenes in the thornbirds in hawaii?? damn and here i thought there was actually a matlock island that i could visit when i got to australia. and no, honey, you're not old. the thornbirds was one of the first REAL chapter books i read and i love it to this day. (im 29)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you, my dear, and sorry to burst your bubble re: the beach. I am a (ahem)decade(ahem) beyond you in years, so special thanks for the assurances! I have never in my life acted as mature as my age, so why start now?Glad you're enjoying the story!
aww.....
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
So glad you like it! Thanks!
Arthur in a plan, I'm sure that was exciting!I'd have loved to "see" more of it and certainly of the dragons, but this isn't the topic of your story. George and Annie handled Charlie's special issue very well! Let's hope they can convince a few more family members before the blokes come over together. Then again, Charlie has to state the facts aloud by himself, for everyone to hear. Especially Molly, who should after all want her boys happy.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! The Weasleys are a loving, understanding bunch.
Aw... sniff, sniff, so precious. That's quite lovely.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you! A funny coincidence: I was born during a blizzard (in Indiana) and my mom endured two other blizzards during her pregnancies with my two sisters (though they were born later in the spring). Thought it would be amusing to stick that in here. Inspiration hits from surprising places, sometimes.
Awwww! And I believe I predicted that it would be another girl They're getting to have quite a tribe... and doubtless loving it.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Yeah, your prediction made me giggle when I read it! I am crap at keeping secrets like that and it was really hard for me not to squeal, "You're right!"
You always said that Annie would run into Andy again. I had started to wonder if the story turned from your original plan-- now I see that you were really going to leave us with a strange encounter. LOVED RIver and Wrackspurt.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Wow, you remembered that!? I guess yanking Andy back into the story for a cameo appearance at this point might seem a little... well, pointless. But I'm generally amazed by real life's little surprises like that. Andy represents "what could have been" for Annie in the Muggle world (he was a viable romantic option for her if she'd given him half a chance), but she's so far gone in love with George, I don't think she feels even a twinge of regret (a little embarrassment, maybe ) I'm so glad you like R&W! Like LOADS of other authors, I'm cramming Muggle culture down wizarding throats with it, but George & Lee being DJs really seems pretty plausible to me, and hopefully to my readers too. George has access to the source material (Muggle wife), motivation (make the world a better place as a former if not current Order member), professional connections (best mate employed at WWN) and experience (Potterwatch). I promise it will be a longlived show, and a few more episodes will follow! Thanks for the review!
I'm listening to Nirvana now... you got it stuck in my head :p. Good taste it music they have =].And a girl! And I knew Andy would turn up again at some point... Good to know he got through all his years and years of training. I have a friend who wants to be a doctor. Tis madness.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! These are some of my favorite tunes, too. More of this to come in future installments - hope you'll enjoy those as well.Yes, a girl! Which I think you guessed in an earlier review. But as far as the special "rare Weasley girl" thing goes, Bill has already produced the first girl of the next generation with Victoire (and soon to come, his second daughter, Dominique, as per JKR), not to mention Percy, Ron and Ginny all are slated to have at least one girl (also per JKR), so the floodgates have opened as far as Weasley females are concerned. Yeah, I just couldn't leave Andy to languish in the past like a one-night-stand. He was too nice a guy. I was a biology major in undergrad, so I knew a few pre-meds and nursing folks. It's all crazy.
Response from MoonlitMeda (Reviewer)
Said friend dragged me through Biology GCSE by teaching me everything ten minutes before my exam. I got my A by the skin of my teeth and dropped it without a backwards glance. The Physics/Maths route is the one for me .
Just caught up on a few chapters. This has to be the best line ever. "The man is legend! I'm surprised there isn't a venereal disease named after him!" ROFL :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you! Thank you!
It looks like George is on the cusp of figuring something out that's bothered him off and on since Annie moved to the Burrow. The radio show was quite fun, and a great tribute to Fred.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
I wonder what was the defining moment that began the Malfoy-Weasley feud between Arthur and Lucius? I think they had something going on long before the tussle in the bookshop in CoS. And now George has inherited the animosity... whatever will it lead to? (wringing hands and cackling)Thanks for the comment on the radio show... there are more of these to come. And poor George is still slogging through it - some days are awfully hard on him yet.
What's that, I've already caught up with the progress of this story? Will be looking forward to more chapters... and more Weasleys.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! I'm heartened by how quickly you've moved through it - makes me feel like it was a book you couldn't put down. :) I nearly always add the next chapter to the queue as soon as one is posted, so updates are as regular as possible.
That's what in-laws are for, teaching you all the treachery little tricks. Oh, and when will they start selling mooncalf dung fertilizer by Muggle mail order? Summers in FIN are great but so short!
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Annie always strives to be helpful! Tee hee.Summers here in AZ are the opposite: long, hot, and long, lasting from April to November. It's why I love it here, though. :)
What a horrid scene, but excellently written! > cut loose from the real world and enter the fairy tale entirelyI can agree that she calls the Muggle wold 'real', but the magical world isn'ty a fairy tale world these days! Will they have to announce their wedding? Are you truly insinuating that the Weasleys believe they haven't made love yet? Why on earth would they assume that?
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
It's less about what they really think and more about denial and the appearance of propriety. I think George is happy to pretend his mother and father have no clue he and Annie are sexually active. He's made considerable efforts to sneak around behind their backs (and Gran's as well) in order to spend time illicitly with his girlfriend, including regularly spending the night in her bedroom. And along the same lines, parents never like to think their teenage children are having sex. Molly and Arthur probably go to great lengths to avoid thinking about it. That being said, I think that on some level, yes, they know. Or at the very least, suspect. Especially since George has been living in Annie's home for the past few weeks, much to Molly's chagrin.Even so, the idea of George and his girlfriend sleeping in the same room under the Burrow's roof equals parental permission for sex in Molly's mind, and I can't imagine she'd let something like that slide (especially since she doesn't know they're married). It's one thing to be in denial of something happening in someone else's house, quite another to appear to condone it in one's own home. I never said it makes logical sense, but that's how I see the Weasley's thoughts about the matter. Thanks for all the reviews!!
As the mom of a big family, I highly agree with their plan, LOL! Of course, a couple of years in between becomes mandatory as mom gets older. Poor Harry, embarassed by his mental pictures!
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
I tried to give Annie as much of a break as possible after the twins, but George is a very insistent fellow. All I can say is they're (George & Annie) young yet and full of energy enough to handle a growing family. And I think Harry is less embarrassed by the mental pictures as he is tired of getting punched by Ginny's brothers, ha ha ha.
Nawwwww :) And now I'm going to do a little rambling about the baby. It could, for example, be twins again. They do run in the family. Or, it could be a girl, because they may not turn up often in the Weasley family, but clearly they do happen, because of Ginny. I'm excited now... More chapters please!
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
I know! Babies are so exciting! Squee!FYI the entire story is completely written and chapters are being posted as fast as my divine-being-masquerading-as-an-admin can get them corrected and up. Many thanks to Lyn_F who's currently bearing the brunt of the task and all the others who have helped along the way, too!!!!!
What an excellent chapter. Malfoy at his most horrible, Arthur brave and yet all-fatherly. Even Fleur gets a plus from you, which is rare in fanfiction. The situation doesn't allow much choice for the Order or for George and Annie. Poor Annie, though.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you! These are dangerous times for George and Annie as well as the wizarding world in general. There was no way to avoid the fact their relationship would be tested. Love is never simple or easy - or if it is, it makes for a boring story! ;)
Typical Annie to deny she was in labour - it was NOT convenient! And typical Molly to notice. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Annie's a tough little gal, true!
Awwww! *beams* So their birthday is the day after Molly's?Sooner them than me as regards the 1am feeding though.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! Yes, the twins were born just after midnight on 10.31.98. What can I say - I like auspicious birthdates!
Aw... that's one of the better L&D scenes I've read, and I've experienced a few, too. I never had those contractions that let you continue on with life, though. Mine always dropped me on the floor, even if I was in bed.Anyway, I love the whole party, the births, and the tears afterwards. It's all very realistic and in character.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Regarding contractions: me neither! I was begging for the epidural pretty early on. But I have a friend who literally slept through most of her labor (grr) so decided Annie would be a tougher gal than me and more like my friend! Thanks for the comments!
I love how you pick up on the little things that pass me by, like how a house would need a name for the mail. And I'm looking forward to Annie's reaction when she finds her house unexpectedly finished early. Oh, and I love the sentence, "He sat on the floor at her feet, head leaning onto the armrest of her chair, occasionally prodding her stomach in hopes of eliciting more movement." For some reason that just stuck me as really funny :p.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! The belly thing was dredged up from my own memories of late pregnancy. It was a surreal thing to see and feel it move!
Nice to see the integration of some of the other characters into Annie and George's life. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Weasleys are a tight-knit bunch, so there's plenty of them to come.
Building a purpose built Muggle/Wizarding house is a perfect solution. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
I think so, too. I wanted to explore a Muggle/Wizard relationship that wasn't based on hiding the magic from a spouse or the world in general. Annie is a strong character, though, and I can't see her being content to let others do for her, even with magic. Thankfully, George respects that (even if it confounds him a little).
