Fred and George Weasley’s troublemaking careers didn’t start the day they reached Hogwarts. In fact, they had been honing their mischief-making talents for years with the help of a feisty little Muggle girl named Annie Jones from Ottery St. Catchpole. Their secret friendship continued even after the twins began leaving for Hogwarts, as the children kept in touch via owl post. It deepened into something more as teenagers, when George and Annie discovered an attraction to each other that they couldn’t resist. Their love struggles to survive one of the most trying times in the magical world – the Second War – and its devastating consequences. A happily-ever-after awaits them… eventually. Rating and warnings for later chapters. In this chapter, seven-year-olds George and Fred make an interesting acquaintance in a bowtruckle-infested oak tree, and a friendship is born.

I'm a bored but happy stay-at-home mom to two little boys (ages 12 and 6). My friends and family think I'm the biggest HP geek, but I know better since I've discovered fanfiction!
I'm very excited to be releasing original works of fiction! My first novel, Old Enough to Know Better, is about a fanfiction writer who falls for an actor who plays her favorite fictional character. It's a fun, steamy, dramatic contemporary romance. Desert Menage Trilogy follows the three main characters as they initiate a loving, lasting triadic bond (including Nine Dates, Tri Me, and Wholly Trinity). The Footmen is a futuristic menage romance set in a grim gynocracy. I also write a paranormal suspense/romance series about a young girl gifted with ESP. Brimstone and Portents are the first two books.
All my books are available in both e-format and paperback on Amazon. If you're interested in learning more about these and other upcoming releases, including reading excerpts, please visit my website and sign up to receive future newsletters.

Who wouldn't approve of George? (excepting all Hogwarts staff, of course) :)
Anne is brilliant! I'd adore her if i didn't believe I was about to be deeply jealous of her
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! And oh, yes, things are about to get juicy. :)
I'm loving how annie is the twins inspiration.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! Not that I don't think the twins could've come up with all of it on their own - it was just more fun this way. :)
I was getting worried about annie, glad it looks like she will be ok, although the town boys still could be trouble. Fabulous take on the twins year with harry et.al.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! Yes, Annie is in for a painful lesson in the importance of choosing one's associates carefully. I tried to keep the story as canon compliant as I could, but focusing on the twins means "Harry et.al." (love that, by the way) are relegated to tangential mentions, for the most part.
This was great. I was a bit surprised that Annie was at the house, but it worked great. Interesting to see the contrast between Jane during the chapter and Fred at the end.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! Both Jane and Fred have Annie's best interests at heart and bring up valid arguments both for and against Annie and George's relationship, I think. Cons: Both of them are young and inexperienced in life. It is a dangerous time to commit to each other, considering the political climate. And even without the Death Eaters breathing down their necks, they'll face many challenges inherent to a partnership that involves people from two such disparate worlds.Pros: They know each other very well, having been friends for more than half their lives. They have a deep love that has spawned out of that friendship to keep them going. They are confident they are perfect for each other. In my opinion, you can't really argue against any of the "pros," but the "cons" are certainly going to make life difficult....:)
George choked on the cookie, spewing crumbs over the table. It was clear what she was hinting at now, and if she knew about that, he also knew exactly where the information had to come from. I'll murder him in his bed, he swore to himself. Why can't you be more like me?We used to have a running joke about someone named Annie. You have some amazing lines in this chapter. These are just some of my favorites. I love the meeting with the Weasleys. The realization that Annie is real was creative genius.

Ah... please wait while I float back down to earth....Thank you for the lovely compliments! This is precisely what keeps needy writers like me going!
I suspect Fred is going to regret that little conversation. . . .I love Gran!. . .and the Christmas presents are so sweet.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Fred has been known to get a little carried away with his teasing. I agree - Gran is a crafty old dear! Glad you liked the presents, too!
Bad boys, leaving her to explain like that! Mind you, it got Molly's sympathy. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Naughty, naughty Weasley twins! But they couldn't be reasonably expected to let the opportunity of such a prank on their parents go to waste, now, could they?
Phew! That went quite well, I think. Molly has such an open heart to every orphan that crosses her path to begin with, and I think she recognized a kindred spirit who would help keep George in line. :)Y'know, the more you mention the mother, the more I think she's going to show up down the line, and probably at a bad moment.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! The Burrow scene was fun to write. And while Molly is sometimes overharsh with the twins (albeit they have a long history of making her life miserable, so they might deserve some of it), she would mother the world if people would let her, and Annie is now tucked firmly under her wing.We can discuss the issue of Annie's mother at the end of the narrative, if you like. But for now, I'll hold off commenting.
That chapter brought tears to my eyes, but it was beautifully written, and your ideas on the 'afterlife' coincide with my own, so I had no trouble accepting what lay ahead for Annie and George.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you so much. This chapter was a real challenge to write, and like you, I have yet to read it through for editing purposes without tearing up. It was so hard for me to say goodbye to them.I'm glad you liked it!
I caught on to this story late but have thoroughly enjoyed every chapter. I love how you presented every stage of George and Annie's evolving relationship. You handled topics such as Charlie being gay, the discovery of Fred's son Ben, and Annie and George's deaths very sensitively and with compassion. Thank you for a great journey. I look forward to your spin-offs.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Gran's a sweetie, and she likes George which is a plus. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! And George can certainly turn on the charm when he wants to. Who could resist such adorableness (if indeed that's a word)?
Awwww... poor kids. Those were great Christmas presents all around. "Drive it like you stole it" for Fred is too funny. I bet that's what he had on under Harry's robes during the battle of the seven Harrys.Somehow I don't think Gran will care as much as they think she will. She'll worry about the consequences but she seems so relieved that Annie isn't like her mother that I bet she'll let a lot of things slide a little.

"I bet that's what he had on under Harry's robes during the battle of the seven Harrys."Brilliant, Rose! Simply brilliant (lol). I saw it on a bumper sticker and immediately thought of the twins. Thanks for the positive review of the prezzies! Gran is rather old fashioned. And Annie very much wants to put her Gran's mind at ease, assure her she's a "good" girl by at least putting a good face on adhering to the rules (the curfew is Gran's rule, after all). Annie's become very protective, perhaps overly so, of her Gran over the past couple of years.
I just started reading this and have to say that I feel you've captured Fred and George perfectly. I could definitely see Molly insisting on them being subjected to the Trace early lol

Thanks! I'm so glad you started, and I hope you'll continue.
OMG!!! I just don't know where to begin with this review. I could NOT put this story down. I've stayed up until the wee hours of the morning trying to finish it.I LOVED this story. This story is right up there in the Top Ten of my favorite HP fanfictions EVER!!! What a talent you have. I was laughing and crying and felt every other emotion under the rainbow. You wrote with such depth and feeling. I loved every single character and really felt that I got to know them all. Seriously, not to gush, but you did such a wonderful job!Thank you so much for sharing this story! I'll be on the lookout for anything else you write.Again, GREAT JOB!!!!

Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story - I certainly loved writing it. All these characters are very near and dear to my heart. Thanks again for taking the time to read and review!
From the sublime to the mundane, I see. That vacation was a gorgeous time for them, wasn't it? It was just too short. I love the way you described George having a problem with her wearing her bathing suit and then the way she used her figure to her advantage while playing pool. That served the two of them right. Then the fire and discovering that someone died at it after all. What a shame. Oddly enough, I was almost feeling sorry for Stephen until he tried to use the situation as an opportunity to get in her pants. Once a jerk, always a jerk, I guess.I suspect there will be some sad moments from here on out, but I like that the romance has enough of a basis to withstand those moments.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
I love writing the three of them at the shore! It's becoming a very meaningful place for both George and Annie. Lots of special, wonderful memories for them there. And poor Stephen does seem to be a pathological git, doesn't he? He has sense enough to know Annie is someone worth wanting, but no clue at all about how to go about making it happen. As my story moves into the fall, it becomes concurrent with Half Blood Prince. So, yes, trying times are ahead. Thank goodness George and Annie have a solid foundation on which to stand. Thanks for the review!
