Fred and George Weasley’s troublemaking careers didn’t start the day they reached Hogwarts. In fact, they had been honing their mischief-making talents for years with the help of a feisty little Muggle girl named Annie Jones from Ottery St. Catchpole. Their secret friendship continued even after the twins began leaving for Hogwarts, as the children kept in touch via owl post. It deepened into something more as teenagers, when George and Annie discovered an attraction to each other that they couldn’t resist. Their love struggles to survive one of the most trying times in the magical world – the Second War – and its devastating consequences. A happily-ever-after awaits them… eventually. Rating and warnings for later chapters. In this chapter, seven-year-olds George and Fred make an interesting acquaintance in a bowtruckle-infested oak tree, and a friendship is born.

I'm a bored but happy stay-at-home mom to two little boys (ages 12 and 6). My friends and family think I'm the biggest HP geek, but I know better since I've discovered fanfiction!
I'm very excited to be releasing original works of fiction! My first novel, Old Enough to Know Better, is about a fanfiction writer who falls for an actor who plays her favorite fictional character. It's a fun, steamy, dramatic contemporary romance. Desert Menage Trilogy follows the three main characters as they initiate a loving, lasting triadic bond (including Nine Dates, Tri Me, and Wholly Trinity). The Footmen is a futuristic menage romance set in a grim gynocracy. I also write a paranormal suspense/romance series about a young girl gifted with ESP. Brimstone and Portents are the first two books.
All my books are available in both e-format and paperback on Amazon. If you're interested in learning more about these and other upcoming releases, including reading excerpts, please visit my website and sign up to receive future newsletters.
Reviews for George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography
"It'll be just like Beggar's Canyon back home!" say's Luke Skywalker. And Annie decides that a flying broom is just like the monkey bars at home! (I've been reading, no time to review lately. Will be better now).

What an amusing parallel! And strangely foreshadowing of a funny little something coming up in a future chapter (wink, snicker). Thanks for the review!
Wahoo! Finally! Love Fred dropping George right in it! :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
I know! It was SOOO Fred, wasn't it? Ha ha ha.Thanks so much for your marathon reading session, and all the nice reviews!
Clever girl. Muggles can work magic too! :)
Oh, poor Annie. Missing George (and Fred) so much, and then her gran gets sick. :(
Brilliant way to show their gradual enlightenment! :)
Lovely description of the developing tension between Annie and George, and lack of it with Fred. :)
Yay. Hormones! :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
And how!!
Nice that the boys immediately assumed the horrid girl's taunts were not true. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
They are good boys, possibly even a little on the innocent side, and true friends.Despite their well-deserved troublemaking reputations, they are gentlemen where it counts!
Boycotting the Potions exam, what style! Knew those boys were smart! :)
She must be so worried about them when they send those letters! :)
And Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes is born! Love the way you tie the story into what we know about George and Fred from canon. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! I really tried hard to stick to canon with everything - Annie being the glaring exception, of course. It helps that as marginal characters, a lot of details regarding the twins were uncanonized (doubt that's a word, or if it is, I'm positive I'm using it inappropriately), therefore giving me a freer-rein.I really appreciate all the reviews! *hugs you*
Egads, girl, steer clear of those ruffians. They're not worth it! :)
Uh oh, the twins have competition. But Stephen and his mates sound like a bad influence. Well, worse than George and Fred, anyway. :)
LOL. Quidditch obsessed boys. Poor Annie! :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Not unlike the football, basketball and baseball-obessed males we all know and love.
What's she going to do without her boys? And does she have some magic of her own? With a name like Jones, common though it is... :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Jones happens to be one of the most common (if not in fact the singlemost common) Welsh & English surnames. Over 1% of the UK population shares the name - the concentration is much higher in Wales. And what an insightful question! Hmmm... does Annie have some magic of her own....
Mud wrestling. Yay! Just as well they weren't ten years older! :)
LOL. Plugs! Why are wizards so fascinated with them? :)
Poor Annie. Perhaps her Gran should go to the woods herself! :)
Interesting that Fred is less trusting than George. :)
Hormones have got to start kicking in soon! :)
Ah!!! Lovely - and about time Georgie boy!!! I can't wait for him to meet Gran, and for Annie to meet Arthur and Molly!!!

All in due time! I promise! I guess I'm one of those draw-it-out, enjoy-the-ride sorts of writers.

that's good, because those are my favorite stories. Keep up the good work, I'm really enjoying your tale.
Ahhhhh *bask*I know it's all going to go to heck again, but you gave them one perfect day to have and remember. Lovely.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you, lovely Rose! This is one of my all-time favorite chapters, actually. And yes, it will all go to "heck" again, but they have most of the HBP before the big disasters hit, so....Mushiness, commence!
Lovely, the way you've written them as becoming aware of each other. I almost shudder to think of everything that can happen during those two years, though. Why can't Sirius take care of his own ^*&% house?
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Why can't Sirius take care of his own ^*&% house?Love it, Rose! Ha ha ha!And yes, the proverbial s**t hits the fan during the upcoming two years. Poor kids!
I just wanted to pop in and say just how much I am enjoying this story! To watch this deep freindship blossom has been wonderful to read. You've done a wonderful job at fleshing out the characters into real people, not just voices to move your story along. I can't wait to read more!
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! I'm so glad you're enjoying it!I know the romance thing has been a long time coming, but the way I interpreted the characters of the twins, this was the only way I could see to work it. The relationship between George and Annie has a very long history, running very deeply and on many different levels. They both need something strongly rooted and tightly binding them together in order to face what's coming.
Response from JENGEORGE (Reviewer)
I think your pace has been great- I think it lends credibility to their relationship. So often in fic's authors skim over the start of the relationship to get to the "good" stuff. Thank you for taking your time- I'm really rooting for George and Annie now!
Annie - duh, of course you like George, and he's liked you for ages, that's why he's the only one who writes, and why he signs Fred's name for him.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
You're absolutely correct,
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
! And we, the readers, know this. Anyone who has read the title of the story pretty much sees it coming. Then there's the summary, too. But the critical question is: does George realize he likes Annie (as more than just a best friend)?Sixteen-year-old boys can be rather thick about important issues such as this, in my experience. Especially in regards to a little girl he's known since he was seven. Quidditch and exploding wands are rather distracting, I suppose.
