Fred and George Weasley’s troublemaking careers didn’t start the day they reached Hogwarts. In fact, they had been honing their mischief-making talents for years with the help of a feisty little Muggle girl named Annie Jones from Ottery St. Catchpole. Their secret friendship continued even after the twins began leaving for Hogwarts, as the children kept in touch via owl post. It deepened into something more as teenagers, when George and Annie discovered an attraction to each other that they couldn’t resist. Their love struggles to survive one of the most trying times in the magical world – the Second War – and its devastating consequences. A happily-ever-after awaits them… eventually. Rating and warnings for later chapters. In this chapter, seven-year-olds George and Fred make an interesting acquaintance in a bowtruckle-infested oak tree, and a friendship is born.

I'm a bored but happy stay-at-home mom to two little boys (ages 12 and 6). My friends and family think I'm the biggest HP geek, but I know better since I've discovered fanfiction!
I'm very excited to be releasing original works of fiction! My first novel, Old Enough to Know Better, is about a fanfiction writer who falls for an actor who plays her favorite fictional character. It's a fun, steamy, dramatic contemporary romance. Desert Menage Trilogy follows the three main characters as they initiate a loving, lasting triadic bond (including Nine Dates, Tri Me, and Wholly Trinity). The Footmen is a futuristic menage romance set in a grim gynocracy. I also write a paranormal suspense/romance series about a young girl gifted with ESP. Brimstone and Portents are the first two books.
All my books are available in both e-format and paperback on Amazon. If you're interested in learning more about these and other upcoming releases, including reading excerpts, please visit my website and sign up to receive future newsletters.
Reviews for George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography
This was quite realistic and similar to one of mine. It didn't keep me from having one more, though. Meanwhile, I have to wonder how George's blood was so special that it made her feel better overnight like that.

I've had two c-sections, but not for the same reason Annie did. And I shared a recovery room with a woman who clearly did not understand what "recovery" meant. I very much hope some magical treatment helped her get better!
I like this family. They have their little rifts and struggles, but on the whole, they function.

Me, too. I just love all the Weasley goodness, warts and all.
Outing yourself as gay is a terrible hurdle, and Annie is building a strong bridge for Charlie. At least in Europe (Fin and D), kids in a rage call each others nasty names, one of which being "homo". I have had a very strict talking to my son explaining WHY it is absolutely unsuitable as an accusation. Being 8 only, you cannot know if in 6 years your best friend... and what would change for you and him? Nothing--provided that you haven't distroyed his trust by such naming! I wonder how Annie can still ask Charlie about Sasha... are they not sharing a room when visiting? With some luck Molly has told Arthur of her chat with Annie. It's great how you make these two women understand each other. Ron and Hermione struggling... I'd not be surprised if Ron resents her (soon) earning more than he does and wishes her home with a child already for this. Sad idea. But feisanna could be right as well. Would Hermione give her child to Annie's daycare? The two have so contradicting opinions (on e.g. school and book knowledge).Amazing that Percy shows up at all, I have to say. A great story!!
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Charlie and Sasha do share a room when they visit, just like Harry and Ron did whenever they visited each other (Grimmauld Place, Burrow, tent at QWC). But no one made any assumptions about sexual orientation based on it. Annie and George, as far as we know, are the only Weasleys who even suspect the truth about Charlie. Neither Charlie or Sasha are "out", so while Annie and George might wonder about their relationship, they don't assume anything about Sasha, either. There's no overt evidence he's anything but a friend & colleague to Charlie. Thanks for the review!
Ah Charlie be brave...you can do it.Are Hermione and Ron having fertility issues? I'm going to go with some kind of curse during the final battle/battles is responsible - thus for the strain on thier marriage. Thanks for all your time and effort - i appreciate it

It's so wonderful to see all the support "my" Charlie is getting from all of you! (Author dabs eyes & sniffs)And thank *you* for your supportive reviews!
That's quite a vacation! I've been working more than I usually do lately, and I wouldn't mind that, myself. The groceries, though... I have to admit I'm a little nervous about them. Any fresh meats might not be so fresh any more.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Never fear! Remember, George magically put the marketing away before they left, and I'm sure he's got some way to keep cold things cold in the tent!
Happy birthday George! Annie is quite capable of working her own magic, it appears. ;)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
She does have a devious streak, doesn't she?
I like that they're looking out for Charlie. I bet the kids will never forget this vacation, too. ;)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
They do hook into some nice vacays, don't they? I'm jealous!
Hmm... I just pray that I never ever have to go to a wedding like that. But so long as Percy's happy, I suppose.
My, oh my, what a wedding ceremony!
> We'll have you over for a visit
Please, please make sure we can see more than a mere peek in!
The first half of this should have come with a warning. I was laughing so hard I thought I'd be sick. The second half reminded me of my own wedding, twenty years ago this summer. The party before mine all wore long sleeve, dark turquise taffeta. August in Texas, mind you. My bridesmaids and I all wore cotton. This was wonderfully true to life in all of its sometime-horribleness.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Rose, I've never received a greater compliment. Thank you for "getting it" and laughing!Congrats on two decades!! DH and I just celebrated #14, and I pulled from extensive experience attending Catholic weddings in non-heated or cooled churches that seemed to last forever. Hubby and I hitched elsewhere, and everyone in the fam still says our wedding was the most fun!
Awwww :) Fluff, but good fluff. And another baby! I think it will be... another girl.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! After all the stress and tension and grief they had to go through before and throughout the war, I figured George and Annie deserve a nice stretch of "fluff!" ;)
Aw... another baby, or so we hope. After all, someone needs to repopulate the wizarding world. I enjoyed the Hawaian vacation, too.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
George seems to be taking on the repopulation issue single-handedly (well, with Annie's cooperation, of course). What a guy!
A day in the life... lovely. Boy, Annie has her own day-care center going, there!I would argue that as long as you *want* to be a stay at home mom, you can be just as much a feminist as any of the others. Self-determination should override the other considerations.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Rose, you always pick up on the important hints! Annie exactly has a day-care center! And I fully agree with you: as a mom of the stay-at-home variety, I also consider myself a feminist! Annie is doing what makes her feel happy and fulfilled - but of course Fred is going to give her grief about it (even posthumously!).This chapter might not seem to go anywhere, but I wanted to explore what life might be like for a Muggle living in the wizarding world. Annie and George are striking an interesting balance, I think - both making significant sacrifices. Annie lives without a lot of the electrical conveniences we take for granted, and George resists the habit of making everything happen with the wave of his wand. Well, I hope it's interesting, anyway! :)
This variant of the 1800s is indeed comfortable.
Awwww! More happy chapters. And even though Fred has a point about Annie's lack of fighting stereotypes, it's not as if it matters when she's happy.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! I did promise a happily-ever-after awaited them! But for anyone who's getting weary of all the sap, there is some drama yet ahead....
girly-girls Hey, but as they're girls, it will have to be"ma petite Ginny".
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Oh, Thanks!
*giggles* Poor Hermione... it's a pity we didn't see her being convinced to have a hen party at all. I suspect it wasn't her own idea.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Well, such things as hen parties do smack of the traditional and are therefore suspect. It was definitely NOT her idea, but as her fellow Gryffindor bride-to-be and future sister-in-law, Ginny dragged her out. :)
LOL, if the Weasley men are all Fleur claims, I wonder how Hermione kept Ron at bay.Beautiful summation of the love story so far. ;)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Ha! How did Hermione manage it, indeed! Ron does freely admit to being a bit scared of her....Thanks for the reviews, Rose!
I love every chapter of it!! Great characterisations, and the heros are really sweet to each other. There might be a mistake with the firebrigade though, I wonder if an 18y old rascal could join. At least in D the professional take only people with a fullfledged crafts-profession: they maintain their cars, gears and clothes while on the watch. But you included it for a good reason. Poor guy.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you! I'm so glad you like it!In the US (and I assume the UK as well), firefighting is potentially a decent career for someone without a college degree. Admission is highly competitive, however. They have their own special training and exams requirements. Stephen isn't stupid or a criminal, just prone to making trouble as a younger teen and not very respectful of women. At the point of the big fire, he and Geoff likely would have been trainees or probationary members.Again, thanks for the reviews!
Fred is far nicer than he could be, a true brother for once.Thank Merlin she's got the guts to be direct!
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Annie's a go-getter, true, and Fred is... well, Fred.
clearly there's a downside to being a twin or having twins for friends: no space for romantic thoughts or deeds! But we see clearly how it comes that F&G are so relaxed with girls when Ron & Harry have trouble asking one for a dance. I liked the idea of a present to Molly. They're maturing--want it or not.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
By the summer of 1993, Annie and the boys are still only 15. They've been friends for half their lives now. Hard to make the leap into thinking of someone like that in romantic terms, maybe? Annie's perhaps a little more mature than the boys are, but you're right: they're all growing up.
excellent chapter! You''ve woven so much from canon into this story! Annie has been developing nicely from a whirlwind of kid into a teenager. She still gets into troubles, but different ones now. Her love to her gran keeps her grounded, which is a very nice aspect.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thank you! I liked the idea of writing a sideline story that could take place along the fringes of canon without disrupting it much, if at all. And the twins were my favorite characters from the very beginning.
What a fun vacation! I'm glad to see them truly settling into their lives, now.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Thanks! I hadn't thought of it this way until you mentioned it, but the next chunk of the story (10 or so chapters) could be read as just that - the Weasley siblings all settling down into their adult lives, as told through the POV of George and/or Annie. The little dramas and celebrations and rites of passage of adulthood, you know? The chapters from here on out space themselves out a bit more in time, with longer distances between each other. Thanks for reading, Rose! [hug!]
They're not the best company, Annie.
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
No, they most certainly are not!
Yay for the happy chapters! And I was wondering, did Teddy come with them camping? I suppose not, but I always think Harry would have tried to get him into everything that was going on, because he almost cetainly blames himself for his being an orphan. Sorry, I'm going off on a tangent a bit... Anyways, thank you for the chapter. :)
Response from shosier (Author of George & Annie: An Unofficial Biography)
Excellent question! To my thoughts, I think that as a 19 year old (I think) young man, for Harry to have dragged a 16-month-old out camping would be a little too much to expect (Not too sure Andromeda have gone for it, either, even with the Mothers Weasley supervising). Harry has zero experience with babies at this point. I agree that Harry would want to have a role in Teddy's life, though. So, I think at this age, he might do some visiting with Andromeda's supervision, maybe even an afternoon of babysitting here and there. Probably showered the kid with lots of gifts, too. As he and Teddy got older, I think they would likely do more of this sort of thing together.Secret insider info: Teddy plays a bigger role in this story soon! Squee! Hush hush. You're so very welcome for the "happy" chaps! Thanks for the reviews!
