Boy I wish DH worked out like this.  Most everyone I like survived the final battle.  And, best of all, Hermione and Severus can be together (once he heals up, that is). 

Dark Magic is really fanged, a two-edged sword wounding the recipient and the wielder.  The sooner Hermione and Severus give to each other, the better.  Ginny's encounter with Tom is sickly seductive.  *ugh*  But give the girl major props, she pulled off the Nimue/Mata Hari thing and got the info!!!

Brava!!  That was a masterful performance on Ginny's part.  a 10!  Tom's ah, lust has been stoked to an all time high. . . . and what will Lucius' reaction (or punishment) be now that his precious charge has eluded him?!? 

Wormtail finally gets his comeuppance.  *sigh*  Too bad Tom never learned how to love.  He must be destroyed.  I hope Ginny can pull this off.  And the chappie ended in the best way for our girl Hermione.  You go girl!  Put your foot down and don't let Snapey force you into sex!!  Be that Gryffindor lioness.  R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Great chapter...I liked the sense of anticipation and the other girls jealousy.  It's nice to see Hermione shine.

After so much angst it is a really lovely way to finish. I like how you have her reflecting on her previous behaviours and feelings it adds a reality and depth to it. Plus it also shows how far she has come emotionally. Boy is Snape sappy! While somewhat OOC I think that he had it in him and you bring it out well  - after all he stayed faithful to Lily for years even though she had passed on.Thankyou for this. Looking forward to more.

Together, Severus and Ginny make a pretty good Fairy Godmother. I find myself smiling as I write this,  in the beginning, I would have said that was impossible.  I didn't see how she was ever going to be okay. Well done.

How romantic. I like how Hermione is feeling about herself now. Now, it's just the normal every day worries any girl has at the start of a relationship. Very romantic chapter, look forward to the ball.

What a wonderful chapter! Both Hermione and Severus deserved this after all they have been through. Severus gets my most sincere compliments in knowing just how to make Hermione feel wonderful:-))

What a way for Voldemort to be brought to his knees, so to speak. I think he has more in common with Severus right now than he would ever think. They both long for someone so strongly, that it's making them crazy. I hope Severus doesn't muck things up again. He almost lost Hermione again, and so soon after his confession to her.

She is frustrating and frustrated!

that was a great chapter!  I can't wait to read the next one and see what happens with voldydork and Ginny. 

OH this is great! He really does love Hermione, and i'm glad he repects her wishes. Can't wait to find out wHAT happens between them two and of course Ginny's encounter with The Dark Lord!.

I could imagine Severus' revulsion to having to be Polyjuiced into Wormtail.  But it worked out very well.  In the end, Wormtail ended up dead, his body changed into a stone, and placed into a pickling jar in Snape's laboratory.  Just deserts, I say!Voldemort will soon be under the full effects of the Amortentia Potion, and it is of some small comfort to know that Ginny will hold the balance of power when she is brought before the Dark Lord.  Still, I feel sorry for Ginny.  Her thoughts must be full of fear.  She will have to be very brave to pull this off.Hermione is regaining her self-respect, and she and Severus handled their interlude in his private room very well.  When he realized that she was not ready, he  "grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to him. “Now, that’s my sweet one. You are right. No man or wizard should try to make you feel less because they can’t have their way. It isn’t right for you, Hermione. That makes it wrong for us to continue,” he whispered softly.He took her back to Gryffindor tower and kissed her hand. I can't wait to find out what happens next.  Ginny's encounter with Voldemort will be intense, and I can't help but wonder about how all of this will effect Harry, Hermione, Severus, and Minerva.  Great chapter!Beth
